Log Cabin
Excellent
This place is gorgeous
The views you have in the back yard and along the climb up and down the back staircase are immense. Fall colors here would be breath taking! The cabin itself is modern, tasteful and relaxing with all the accommodations you would need. We made all of our meals here and the kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils and space.
We thought that this place would be fantastic for our elderly parents as well and that they would thoroughly enjoy it as we did.
The WiFi worked great, and it is nicely located in Croton. We get close enough to explore the area but isolated enough to get some real privacy together. We sat outside both nights watching as the sun went down and the bats and moths emerged to say hello.
This place would comfortably accommodate 4 adults and pets are allowed but I didn’t even know any animals had ever been there as the cabin was very clean. Also we really enjoyed the wind chime outside as it was perfectly toned and very pleasing to the ear. I could see an artist thriving on the view, new couples looking for a quiet getaway or a relaxing place to get away from the busy day to day. We would love to return for the fall or winter season as I believe the view year round would be awesome.
Notes for others: I’m not sure more than 2 cars could fit comfortably in the driveway; we only had the one. Follow Miles instructions about the road getting there as the GPS takes you down a road only welcoming to 4x4’s.

Log Cabin
Mikes cabin/land was truly immaculate. Not only was it beautiful inside and out, Mike was so accommodating and helpful for the entirety of our stay.
Highly recommend, you’ll make some great memories here! :)

Amazing cabin and host
First, the cabin is beautiful. We spent the weekend there for our daughter's 13th birthday (weather didn't let us do much). When we walked in the door we were greeted with a birthday surprise for our daughter and a well kept beautiful rustic cabin. Nice huge deck out back with plenty of seating around the fire pit and a nice sitting area to look down at the water. Please be mindful that there is a "cliff drop" in the backyard, we kept a close eye on our younger kids and dogs so the couldn't get to close. Speaking of dogs, this place welcomed our 3 dogs, it's hard to find a well furnished place who allows pets (wife won't go anywhere without them). All and all the cabin was amazing, amenities were amazing, price was good. We could see ourselves visiting again.
