The camp spot on Luke's farm was lovely. While we requested the kayaks for their pond, we did not end up using them. The space was very private. We had a little trouble getting to the space as the direction listed in the booking did not land you immediately into the space, but more like adjacent. We arrived late and it was dark out so we had a tough time knowing where to turn, there was very little signage to indicate where exactly to go, and we did not have the best cell service. We made it to their farm and we were given a map.
Overall, i would stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful time out in nature. The views of the autumn foliage were abundant. Thank you!

I felt very welcomed and had fun helping around the garden. Loved seeing the ducks. We stayed right in the backyard, even though the woods were a great option too! Fun time, would come again.

The main road in (12 Mile Road) was way more rugged than I had expected. That being said, the site was very remote and extremely peaceful. You can probably make it in (as others suggested, come in from the west off Hemlock) with 2WD, but I was glad I had 4WD for peace of mind.
Also, the site it beautiful! The electric hookup was super convenient. The shower appeared to be hooked directly to the well water line. However, there was a heater there ready to be installed. We used my solar shower which was decently warm.
There are plenty of trails on site and my dog had a blast being off leash the entire week. We did venture into Hungerford for a much longer hike. There was a super nice couple there our first night, but we had the place to ourselves the rest of the week. What a gem of a site. Would love to have a group camp there in the future.

We loved this camp. We travel with our 3 dogs, and this is the perfect place for them to have their space to romp around. Firewood was at the campsite when we got there, a beautiful lake, and seclusion. We came to area to mountain bike the dragon trail, this camp is a great home base for bikers.

The forest was nice. There was plenty of space to set up our tent and park next our camp. Car camping was great for one night. There was a composting toilet for us to use if needed. Mike and Ally were very responsive and welcoming. They communicated quickly and showed us around when we arrived.

21 ft campervan
I stayed one night in my camper van, a 2wd Ram ProMaster 3500. Definitely approach from the west (from Hemlock), not from the east as there's a long, sandy ascent that really requires 4wd this way; my van didn't have a prayer of making it, and it's a long way to back out but there's no choice 'cause there's no way to turn around. Come from the west and you're fine!
The site is really great. I was the only inhabitant, but there are multiple electric hookups all around the big fire ring. Pretty cool to have electric way out in the woods...that had to be a major project getting wires run. There's a very clean porta john on site too. For my night here, I had total privacy, excellent stars, and quiet - definitely will return.

We loved our stay! Perfect seclusion at the campsite and brush lake was a great swim spot just down the road! The animals were fun to see around and we appreciated all the free firewood! We’ll be back for sure.

Mike and his family were very welcoming and flexible with timing and availability! We were able to book the same day and have a lot of land where we could set up a tent. It was a little hard to navigate with our car, but it was definitely doable.

Not your typical campground, you’re just staying on a little corner of their property/farm, but it’s super cute and peaceful! The host was very friendly and accommodating. Very quiet and isolated. Would recommend, especially if you don’t mind a bumpy road and hanging out with the farm animals.

We had a great stay here and the hosts were kind and generous. They showed us around when we arrived and they even shared a fire with us. The property itself is set up great for campers and there is plenty of privacy.

We had a great time tent camping at the Beaver pond site. It's bare basics but if you're an avid tent camper, you'll know how to make it work. We were happy to have the outhouse offer privacy. The sun setting across the pond was absolutely gorgeous and we took the kayaks out to paddle through the reflection of clouds floating in the water. When the sun was down, out came the fireflies and the stars. At night we were serenaded by coyotes and woke to birdsong. The host was super friendly and helpful, and offered a tour of the cool looking farm, but we had plans to go hiking but next time!

This place is private N 420 friendly. We have a low car an was able to make it back close to our camp site. There is a lose dog running around but it came to meet us when we first got there and didn’t bother us them entire trip a wasn’t even bother by my dog. There are a few kids an neighborhood kids that hang around so at first I was a little worried to smoke but we were fall back into the woods that we didn’t have to worry about the babies. The view from our tent was beautiful and so much wild life around. We had the whole place to ourselves so don’t really know how it is with the other lots taken but is definitely worth the camping trip. Close to a lot of beautiful places to hike a paddle that’s dog friendly. The host were friendly an walked us through the whole sit an help us pick the best spot. We didn’t stay our whole stay cause of the rain that was coming through on our last day plus exhausted from all the hiking and paddling we did they were nice enough to give us our refund for that one day an they did that right away with no issue. Love the environment and energy this couple has an definitely would recommend for a 420 couple with a fur baby!

This is an absolutely perfect spot if you want rustic, private camping. Nothing but peace and quiet, and kayaking, and birdsong, and cut firewood. Beautiful views of the sunset across the lake. Lots of trees for shade from early morning sun. Location is great for swimming at Diamond Lake.
Luke was an excellent host and provided plenty of firewood and delivered the kayaks to the site. Plus gave us some fresh meat treats for our dog.
Highly recommend this if you really want to get out into the country.
