Elroy/Sparta trail is 4 miles away that you can reach on the 400 trail just 1.2 miles from Hill. My favorite trail at Governor Dodge is the Lost Canyon Trail that starts with the decent to the gorgeous Stephen's Falls. My favorite time of year to go is around Mid-May when the leaves are G R E E N and the bugs are minimal.
