Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Enjoy peace and serenity on a private lake/private drive property! You can camp by the water or on the bluff right above, all the views are beautiful! Close to Pentwater, Ludington, and Silver Lake!Emerge yourself and your campers in a beautiful setting where you have views of one of the quietest inland lakes along the Lake Michigan Shore! Less than 10 minutes from both Pentwater and Ludington, you will be sure to have fun things to do during your stay! You can either pitch your tent on the bluff of the property of down by the lake on the landing portion of the property! Enjoy!

Beautiful lake front site, yes they are building a house few lots down but it's still private, way more private than any oh public campground. Convenient for Ludington or Pentwater beach excursions. Good for stargazing as well.

What I wish I knew before going....

Oxbow Lake Oasis
Although the lake access was great, we were under the impression it would be more secluded. It was private but it is essentially a plot of land to build a house on. There was construction of a house being built right next to us, the grass was long for staying in a tent, and the entrance was a bit confusing but we figured it out. We loved the lake and testing out our new paddle board. The sunsets were amazing.

Jeremy's campsite was the perfect spot for our night stay. We had the whole lake to ourselves. Beautiful view of the stars at night!

Beautiful lakefront site with a gorgeous view. Loved listening to the geese at night. Due to significant rain, the site was a bit muddy, so would not recommend for heavy rigs, but our truck camper did fine!

Besides the lake view and access, the next best thing about this site is how quiet it is. It is very rare you hear anything outside of the sounds of nature.

This little spot exceeded my expectations. It was very private, had amazing views both day and night, and provided a great opportunity to use the lake for swimming and wading.

The site was excellent, the water was gorgeous. I rode my motorcycle, and the host was nice enough to bring some extra wood for me since I didn’t really have a way to take it on my bike. I only stopped by for a night on my way to Wisconsin. However, I would love to come back again.
