We loved the full hook up, the field of flowers, quiet and gracious eggs! It was a wonderful experience and quite the surprise!!

Leslie was a lovely host and the land was a perfect spot to look at the stars and get out of the city, not too far from downtown and the beach. It was perfect.

An absolutely lovely place! Warm and kind hosts made us feel welcome, and the place itself was very easy to set up in, with well maintained full hook ups. The location was great for our needs, very quiet and relaxing and surprisingly enough, the cell reception was very good too. If we ever come back this way we will make sure to stop here again.

Thank you Leslie! What a lovely welcome from your parents and you! What a perfect spot (with full hook up)😊 to navigate from. We had family in town, so were away to the 4th of July fireworks, parade and then lake Michigan swim and beach time. Quiet and serene location!

We loved camping with my sister and bro/in-law. We each had our own camper and site. Full hook up was great! Very peaceful and pretty. Great bird watching. Saw deer. Owners were very helpful and available if needed. Lots to do in the area. Would love to come back sometime. ❤️

We had a great stay. We appreciated the friendly owners who met us on arrival and communicated very well throughout. The location was a nice level pad with water and electric - so easy. This is a beautiful part of the state with much to see very close. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

What an incredible campsite! A gorgeous view (you can't beat the sunrise here); less than 15 minutes from several beach access point on Lake Michigan; the most ideal host one could ask for. You can't beat staying here. Leslie was incredibly responsive, gave concise instructions on how to access the property, and told us she would be available if we needed anything. Side note: I messaged near 10PM to let her know we'd be in late and she got back to me in under 5 minutes. You won't regret booking here. In fact, we left the next morning to continue our trip and found ourselves wanting to drive back and stay at this site again. We'll be back next time we're in Michigan. Thanks again, Leslie!

We recently stayed at Leslie and Greg's property and had a fantastic experience. Leslie and Greg are incredibly welcoming and responsive hosts, making communication a breeze. Their property truly lives up to its name—we saw deer on several occasions, and the atmosphere was both relaxing and quiet. We met their parents and they are truly inspirational. Leslie provided us with detailed directions that made finding the property easy. The location is perfect, with convenient access to Traverse City, Manistee, and all the charming spots in between. We are already looking forward to our return visit!

We had a great time at Deer Run Retreat in our full hookup site! Leslie was super responsive and directions were clear. Lester & Claire are an adorable inspiring couple we just loved interacting with. The property is close to Meijer and Manistee Downtown. We had a great time hiking at ‘Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area’ as per Lester’s recommendation. Not far from there, we also hiked the trail in ‘Orchard Beach State Park’, visited Manistee lighthouse and sunbathed at ‘Capitain John Langland Park’. We visited breweries and restaurants and spent a good relaxing day at their beautiful property as well. There’s a lot to do and we’re looking forward to coming back!
