2 nights at Duck Lake Wooded RV Retreat

This is a very nice lot with electric sewage and water. Front yard has many trees and a fire pit. Duck Lake and dock directly across road for easy access. We were there for only 2 nights and didn’t bring kayaks but next time for sure!! Hostess Jennifer very accommodating and it was a peaceful and quiet stay.

Camp site was quiet and clean. Loved being on water. We kayaked from Barryton damn to camp site. Lots of portaging due to down trees adds to the adventure. Every time we casted a line into the water a fish was on. We caught over 40 small & large mouth bass. Great pizza & ice cream in town. Locals were super friendly & helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

5 nights at Gray's Riverside Camp

Angie is an amazing host! We stayed in a tent in spot seven, but if you're needing electricity for a tent make sure to ask Angie the best spot for you. 😉 Hot showers, awesome rec room, plus offers disk golf, kayaking, firewood, and an incredible camp store in case you forgot something essential (like ice, off, or marshmallows). Lots of other stuff too! I personally love that there was ping pong, games, and a short walk down to the river for fishing. Plus it was incredibly reasonable for each service Angie provides! We went kayaking and she drove us over the point so we could spend a few hours floating down the river right to camp. It was so stress free! The beauty and tranquility of the river was completely worth every penny. ✨️ Close to town without being too close. The bike trail goes right by there too! It was an absolutely phenomenal weekend!

4 nights at Martiny Chain Of Lakes Full Hook-Up

My wife and I loved camping here over the holiday weekend! The easy hookups, concrete slab, and table/chairs were perfect. It was also a big plus that our dogs were able to come along. That made our lives a lot easier. I would certainly recommend this location to anyone.

Weekend Trip to Gray's Riverside Camp

Very nice small campground with trails nearby and an RV dump station. Also has water and electric hookups. The Muskegon River is a short walk from camp sites. The host Angie was super sweet and attentive. Highly recommend as a nice place for a nature packed weekend or even a place to park for the night and head out next day if needed she is very accommodating to either.

This site was perfect for our group, 5 people and 5 small dogs. Full hookup at the site made staying in the camper ideal! Neighbor who brought over the firewood was very friendly. It was a quiet weekend, even though it was a holiday weekend. At first we were leery of how close the neighbors were, but we had no issues and had plenty of privacy. No one bothered us at all. We look forward to staying at the site again!

We had a great time at Megan's Property. It's was so peaceful and quiet. The full hook up are one of the best I have seen. Our dogs enjoyed it also. We will be back.

The property is beautiful - very well kept with lots of shade. The parking space is easy to back a trailer in to and although you are close to the road there is very little traffic. The area down by the river is amazing… great views in every direction and the sounds of the river were so relaxing. We saw an eagle, an osprey, and many other birds. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely plan to come back again.

Megan was quick to respond to any questions! We stayed at Whispering Waters campsite over Easter weekend. This campsite can accommodate two travel trailers and there's lots of room. The area down by the river is spectacular! We definitely want to come back again to enjoy the site during warmer weather. This place is a gem!

The site was perfect! Lots of room for hanging out and the river is only a short walk away. We weren’t planning on a snow storm as we were arriving at the site but the host was super helpful and brought us some dry firewood so we could get our fire started and warm up. If you are looking for a nice quiet campsite with lots of room and plenty of wilderness, this is a great spot. The host was also super responsive to any questions I had prior to our trip. We look forward to checking out some of their other sites this summer.

What a perfect spot! We had full hook ups so we stayed nice and toasty in November. We loved the solitude, wildlife and of course the river. Exactly what we needed. The spot was very well kept. We want to come back in the summer to enjoy the c river. Our dog enjoyed being off leash too.

This property is the perfect location to stop and relax while you are traveling on the White Pine Trail. We have cabins and campsites with water and electricity. It is centrally located between Grand Rapids and Cadillac. We offer river access, kayaking, disc golf, bathrooms, showers, and a dump station. This is an old church camp with 15 different buildings. We recently built a road to go down to the river so it's not as steep as it was. My goal is to restore all of the buildings to what they should be. My wife and I are slowly starting up our own little farm. We have 2 indoor cats, 1 outdoor cat, a dog, chickens and two ducks. We are on 34 acres and have a river that runs through the middle of it. We are 10 minutes from Alma and 20 minutes from Mt Pleasant. Lumberjack park is about 2 minutes away and Stearns preserve is about 5 mins away where you can walk or ride bike on a nice paved trail. We have a small garden that we plant every summer and plan to start a small farm stand this year. We are in a quiet area with lots of wildlife. We have 1 spot near the house with a view of the river that can support electric hook for a smaller RV and can attach a garden hose for water if needed. We do have a “field” that RVs can use but there is no hook up and there ground may not be level. We have many options for rustic tent camping along the river. No public restroom available. We can also provide some fire wood for campfires for a small cost. Along the river fires are allowed but must be contained in a fire ring. If camping by the field fires will be dependent on conditions. We have 3 kayaks and a canoe that can be used with prior consent. There is a park up river where you can put in and then can exit at our house which is about an hour on the river. We are very new to this and just purchased a UTV so we will be able to start making trails and clearing areas. But for now, camping along the river you will have to walk (and carry belongings) through tall grass to the site you desire. Quiet time 11 pm. We are an easy going couple that just want to share this slice of paradise with others! WiFi available
