Holly is an amazing post she's very friendly and kind. She has a beautiful piece of property located in quaint little piece of the woods. There's plenty of room for parking of a car and a RV. She is very accommodating. Also has a beautiful fire pit for nights outside. I was struggling with my propane in my RV and Holly was kind enough to let us use her grill.

I have stayed at MANY off-grid far flung Hipcamps and EVERY single one had SOME form of annoying noise! Either dogs & lawnmowers in the evening or chainsaws in the morning. This is the absolutely the MOST SERENE Hipcamp I have ever visited.. ONLY the sound of nature ALL night and ALL day!! This host has NO noisy dogs, kids or drunk uncles.
I was not excited about pitching my tent in their front yard, and even though I didn't ask, Holly read my mind because she suggested I roam her property for a more private space, which I easily found. Not only that, she supplied me with firewood and access to water & electricity and also offered me vegetables from her garden! This place is IDEAL for anyone with tents all the way up to RV's. who want to get away from the incessant human sounds that seem to be unavoidable any where else.

Manderlay Woods was a very quiet and dark place with a level parking spot and a nice fire pit with many chairs. Electricity was available and we only need the 15 amp option but they said there was a 30 amp plug but it had a dryer outlet so bring an adapter. Holly was very helpful and friendly. She even put a hose out for us to rinse our dogs if they got muddy.

Very quiet and secluded. Accommodating host, very responsive. Good place to chill out for a few days and read a book, bike, or walk the dirt roads.

Holly and John were wonderful hosts -- very thoughtful, kind and hospitable.
Their property is off of a dirt road with very little traffic, so it's quite peaceful. You drive down a winding driveway through the woods, which then opens up to the portion of the property in front of their house. There are a couple of good spots there to park your RV. WiFi is very good (Starlink), so I was able to work remotely. The water from their well tastes great!
They have walking trails through their woods -- Holly was kind enough to take me down them. There is an old windmill on the property, which made for a cool backdrop while camping.
I definitely plan to stay at Manderlay Woods the next time I'm in northern Michigan.
