Note that Kula Bata Tiny Cabin abuts the wheelchair accessible larger bathroom/shower which is available to those at the Salamander Hollow main camp, yet you are secluded with your own private entry points and private bathroom. The Guilford Fairgrounds is less than 1/4 mile away and has many hiking and biking trails. The land was originally part of a colonial Glebe Trust with the Church of England and divided up, the original 100+ year farmhouse and barn can be seen from many of the campsites. Guilford, Vermont is located in the southeast of Windham County, resting along the Massachusetts border to the south and New Hampshire not far to the east. A community with a long and interesting history, Guilford was actually Vermont’s largest town as long ago as 1790. Now, with a population of about 2,100, its by no means considered a large community yet with its beautiful old covered bridges, churches, and one-room schoolhouse, Guilford maintains an unmistakable sense of history while at the same time having a reputation as one of the truly unique small communities in southern Vermont. Guilford has some of the most quintessential small town landmarks in all of Vermont. Sites like the Christ Church, Broad Brook House, and Guilford Center Meeting House were all built in the early 19th Century and are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This tucked away property is just minutes from route 6, quiet, and just the right amount of wild. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night to soak it all in. There is plenty of firewood, room to adventure, and the views are amazing!

We enjoyed a stay in the tipi and made brick oven pizza. It’s magical we will definitely be back and I recommend this place to anyone that loves nature and wants a different experience. Our dogs had the time of their lives.

Attentive and Knowledgeable Host! My girls (and I) can't wait to go back, and we even had two very reluctant, first time campers, choose to stay the entire night! The property is lovely, the sites are great, plenty of firewood... what can I say...it feels like home, in the absolute best way!

We loved camping at Ronald’s place. Very quiet and secluded. We only stayed overnight, but had the choice of his space which was fun to navigate in our SUV (if you have air suspension would recommend to jack it up for better ground clearance!). Thanks for having us!

The cabin/library was cozy, the tipi was super cool and bigger than I expected it to be. Bring a sleeping pad, the ones in the library were a little thin. Beautiful and very private site.

Weekend Trip to Maple Ridge Farm

We had a great time at the pond view campsite! Anthony was so kind and helped us bring all of our gear up and brought firewood up to us several times. The pond view was a little less dramatic than we were expecting but it was still a beautiful area and very private. Another note is that it was just us two single girls this weekend and we felt very safe. It was nice to know there was a family nearby if we needed them. All in all, we definitely recommend this site and would come back!

Weekend Trip to Heaven Sent Barn!

We overnighted here for my sons birthday fishing trip. 3x 13 year olds and dad. Jocelyn was an amazing host. Super friendly and approachable. The barn is a great place for cold nights and rain. It’s a great way to plan a camping trip without worrying about rain or weather. If you are into trout/small mouth fishing the Natchaug is right across the street and there are many many walks all around. Great location will definitely be back again!

Christian was an excellent host, and we really enjoyed staying on the farm! The horses were beautiful. Only a few mins walk to drinking water and porta potty. We car camped and the camp site was the perfect size for it.

Mary is an excellent hostess!! So very responsive, welcoming, and accommodating for all of our little needs. Everything was clean & fresh for our arrival. Directions are so very thorough, and Mary even gave us Texas gals a ton of awesome recommendations for some local digs. We are so very grateful for that, and our time there. Will be returning anytime I head back up to New England 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Such a beautiful, well-kept space that makes you feel like you’re tucked away in your own cove. We had easy access to a toilet, lots of tools provided by Anthony, a fire pit, picnic table; everything we needed and more! Very gracious hosts and kind people. We loved staying on Anthony’s land!!

Great location and useful accommodations for the area. The back door trek to the Greylock trails are a bit of a bushwhack but doable. Christian was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
