Caroline County Maryland is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking in nearby Martinak and Tuckahoe State Parks,Adkins Arboretum, access to public boat ramps, touring the Harriett Tubman Byway,produce stands, wineries, orchards,and close proximity to the Maryland and Delaware beaches as well as Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in neighboring Dorchester County. We're also less than two hours from Washington D.C., and Baltimore, and less than an hour from our state capitol, Annapolis.

We’ve intentionally created an off-grid, calming nature experience. You’ll be surrounded by forest, open farmland and abundant wildlife. Native gardens, fruit trees, nut trees and herbs were planted near the tent areas in September 2024, offering beauty and a deeper connection to the land.
Enjoy thoughtfully placed gathering spaces throughout the forest, including a whimsical Forest Tea Party area and Uncontained, our cozy repurposed shipping container—perfect for reading, board games, or shelter during a summer pop-up thunderstorm. A nature -made hammock area amongst tall pine trees is perfect for afternoon naps and are provided by us (7) Fire-pit seating, picnic tables, a charcoal grill, and a propane cooktop are also available.
Walk the short Jeremiah Dixon/Charles Mason Trail, a path similar to one they would have taken in the 1700s. Follow it through the forest and across the creek to our homestead, where you can place one foot in Maryland and one in Delaware at the historic Mason–Dixon marker beneath an old wild cherry tree.
Before heading back, stop at the main farm gate to visit our friendly goats—Dixie, Dolly, and Star.

45-acre Historic farm, several sites to choose from depending on adventure wanderlust (including a 4WD drive site). Located on private gravel lane, approximately 1/2 mile off county road. Either corn or soybeans with a woods backdrop. Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm. DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour. Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach.

For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best. Suzette and her husband were friendly and very helpful. Their site was shady and quiet and on a separate drive away from the hosts' house. The 30 Amp hookup was well placed and worked without a hitch. While they were up-front about water you have to be prepared and fill up your fresh water tank before arrival. They can (and did) assist with getting water from their outside spigot if and when you need it, but they did not have a hose long enough to get down to the camper site so you have to bring your camper to the spigot.

This camp is a very quiet rural location (45 minutes to Lewes and Cape May Ferry) and has a great list of amenities. The camp hosts are welcoming and very helpful. Shout-out to Dave for assisting us on arrival. The animals are cool and mostly friendly. The pool looked nice as did the meadery- didn't have time to try these. The nature walk was really nice and easy to follow. Now to the sites themselves - if you're looking at a full hook-up site, you will need to bring plenty of waste line and water line as the utility layout is challenging. Our recommendation is to call ahead and ask about site layout. Upon departure we ended up dumping our full grey and black tanks at Killen Pond State Park about 9 miles away. For those with 30-Amp rigs, do have a 50-amp converter in your electric box for flexibility in site selection. Overall, a nice long weekend stay with friendly hosts.

We absolutely loved this campground. Easy access, quiet, lots of beautiful animals to see. There’s a nice walking trail, indoor heated pool, dog park, putput course & Meadery. We were greeted upon arrival & he ensured we got all set up. Would highly recommend & will come back when we’re visiting Delaware again. Thank you! The shop had a great selection of mead and wines, fresh eggs, etc. the pool was nice and clean and there’s a great little nature trail. We were able to arrive on a Sunday and the check-in was as easy as 1 2 3! Dave drove us to our site, which was very spacious, clean, and leveled!
We loved hiking the trail on the property, exploring the pond, and bonding with the animals. We also bought some delicious mead (Pineapple, Watermelon, Elderberry Blackberry Sweet, and Elderberry Blackberry Oak Aged Sweet).
We can't wait to be back!!!

The water wasn't at the site, due to it being winter, but Suzette allowed me to fill my fresh water tank at her house, just up the hill from the site.
