Located about an acre behind our family home (which you can see from the spot), the camp site is within steps of our barn, which has both running water and electrical hookups (20amps) for campers to use. We are located off a busy street where cars drive a little too fast — if you have a dog that needs to be walked daily, we would recommend stopping by the beach or one of the many nearby walking trails instead of venturing down the road.
Max length of vehicles is 30 feet -- we've found that any longer and the turns are too tight.

This is a working flower flower farm and on occasion there will need to be someone working in the field near to the campsite, often during the very early hours of the morning (5am during the spring and summer, later in the fall.) Large camping spot on the edge of a 125-acre farm. Convenient to most locations in Southern Maine and NH. Located near the center of town, there are stores and restaurants within a 5-minute drive. Excellent location to be away from tourist areas but close enough to visit -Beaches 20-30 minutes, RT 95-15 mins, Portland 45; Portsmouth-45 mins, Kittery Outlets -30 mins. White Mountains 1 hour 30 mins.
NOTE- This is Maine, so we do have ticks. We strongly encourage the use of spray on yourselves and pets.
NOISE- We are near a state road, so there will be some hum of road noise, unfortunately.
Site has an open area with sunny or shaded place to set up camp. Guests are welcome to walk or hike around the property. There are open fields and some rough hiking trails (wear good shoes!) Small stream runs through the property and there are wild turkeys, deer and other wildlife about.
This is a rustic site with picnic table, fire ring and chemical toilet. Pretty and peaceful. Plenty of room to pull in a motorhome, camper or pop up

Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers.
Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain!

Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. A secluded paradise hosted by the friendliest man in Maine.
Daniel is a truly one-of-a-kind host. After a long day of driving and RV troubles, Daniel was a breath of fresh air. He welcomed my wife and I, gave us a tour of the property, and enabled us to immediately move into vacation mode.
The campsite is set back into a deep, gravel driveway. There’s nothing but forest behind the site, and the driveway is long enough that if you’re dogs don’t like wandering away beyond line-of-sight then you’re going to love letting them loose. However, if they are quick to split and find their own adventure, understand that there’s a lot of unmarked forest around, and there’s neighbors past the entry to the driveway. We had zero problems (and saw zero people from our site) but our dogs stay within sight so that made it easier to relax.
Water access is just within sight of another neighbor’s dock, but there’s plenty of distance. The path to the dock is well marked, but you may consider leashing dogs until you’re at the dock so as not to let them wander onto another property. Once you’re on the dock, you’re tucked into bush and have awesome privacy.
The lake is beautiful, and the loons sing throughout the day and evening. Highly recommend asking for the kayaks - they’re singles but have room for small-medium dogs!
Everything else included in the campsite description is accurate, so I’ll keep my last comment short: Daniel, we’ll be back next year!!

What a hidden gem! We had the best time staying here. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The property is beautiful, and you can tell they put a lot of thought and care into every detail. We loved finding benches placed at scenic spots and chairs gathered around the fire pit, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
One of our favorite features was the incredible stone wall. I love cooking over a fire, and I jokingly referred to it as my own "stone wall kitchen!" It quickly became the centerpiece of our campsite experience.
This is the kind of place that feels special the moment you arrive. We’re already looking forward to coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and thoughtfully maintained getaway.

He answered all of our questions and provided a great tour of our campsite as well as the walking trails on the tree farm.
He put a lot of thought into the site and we loved the outdoor shower and sink. The site was very quiet and at night we could hear the owls which was very cool.
We also had an issue with our RV and needed a wrench and Eben came right down and assisted us
I would highly recommend this Hipcamp. My only disappointment was we did not have time to hike the mountain and see the beautiful views, next time.!

The natural fireplace was perfect and very comfy chairs were provided along with a beautiful wood live edge picnic table. I relaxed in the hammock that was there, and enjoyed hiking on her trails. First off, Eben is an excellent host. He makes sure you have everything you need. The base camp site is huge. It has a large table for cooking so you can spread out your stuff. Also, the hiking trails are great and the map Eben supplies is very well made and easy to follow. This is the third time I’ve been here and I’m coming back at the end of June. It’s an overall excellent experience.

Oh my goodness, what a lovely, secluded, peaceful place to camp in our Roadtrek! Christine has set up this spot very thoughtfully, from the fire pit with rockers, to the chairs and bench overlooking the babbling brook, to the easy to grab firewood and trail signs. Her highly detailed directions to this place at the end of a gravel road were spot on, as was her speedy communication. My only wish is that we could have spent more time there! Highly recommend. Excellent site we timed the brook perfectly after a heavy rainstorm. When we arrived our host was standing in the pouring rain to help in case we needed it. Brought firewood after the rain stopped and there’s donkeys and horses in the field across from the campsite. Wonderful place.

Throughout our stay, Julie maintained a nice balance between being present and available to us and totally allowing us our privacy, which we really appreciated. We used the electricity she provided, which was very helpful, and we didn't need water, which was also offered to guests. Although Julie sells her own organic products, she did not try to sell us anything while we were there. We were encouraged to make full use of her property, which has a very nice back yard with a little table and chairs and two very comfy looking cushioned chairs that I wished we'd had the weather to sit out on. It was windy and rainy for most of this weekend, and we were visiting friends and family elsewhere some of the time. We did spend a very nice first afternoon there having a leisurely lunch at the backyard table. We recommend Julie's property for your stay, and we will most likely return for another weekend in the near future.
