We are NOT a campground. We are opening our home and farm for travelling visitors to have a safe place to rest at a reasonable price. Those that wish to have an extended stay here are welcome, but please do not expect the amenities of a campground. We are a humble, small, family-operated, diversified farm spanning 180 acres. Alongside raising thirteen children, we take pride in cultivating u-pick blueberries, raspberries, apples, and pumpkins, as well as raising meat poultry and laying hens. Gardiner Farms RV site is located on the Grindstone Rd/Rt 11 in Stacyville, Maine. The campsite is situated on a 200 acre lot with lots of room to hike about or walk your pets. The adjacent field is a working potato farm while the north end of the lot is older fields and woodlands. The Grindstone Rd is an approved ATV access route. We have places for 2 campers on this site. The main site includes 20/30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, and trash removal-no extra charges for anything. There is also a campfire pit on the premises. This year, we are making available for rent a Buddy site in case you are traveling with a friend with their own RV. This will be right in the driveway at the main site. This site will offer 15 amp electric and water if you have a wye valve. No worries, if you rent the main site, you will be the only one that can rent the Buddy site. Sorry, no WIFI, but you should be able to get a cell phone signal at the campsite. Millinocket is about 30 miles away and Houlton is about 45 miles. Katahdin Woods & Waters Monument https://www.nps.gov/kaww/index.htm is about 20 minutes away depending upon which parcel you want to access. The Penobscot Trail system (bicycles) https://penobscotrivertrails.org/ is 10 minutes away. In Patten, you will find the Lumberman's Museum https://lumbermensmuseum.org/ and several restaurants and takeouts. Excellent canoeing/kayaking, hunting and fishing on the East Branch of the Penobscot River. Old Home Days in Sherman is Labor Day Weekend. This campsite is open from May 15th to October 15th.

Welcome to Kanya’s Place.
Located in the town of Smyrna in Northern Maine. We are in the heart of Amish country with many Amish stores close by as well as other local businesses. There is plenty to do in this area, we have two golf courses close by. Numerous Club ATV Trails, fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, hiking and more. The north entrance of Baxter State Park is about an hour away and you can be on the pristine Maine seacoast in about 3 hours.
Our private RV site is a 50 Amp full hookup including sewer. Our grounds are maintained and we normally cut the grass once a week. We provide a picnic table and a fire pit. Fire wood can be purchased on site. We will be testing our water later this year…until the results come back we state the water is ‘NONPOTABLE”
There is a pet exercise area provided which is at least 75ft from dwellings and a large open field that is closely mowed if you wish to play fetch with your pet. Directly across the road from the RV site is the upper Bison (Buffalo) field. On site there is also a nail salon that specialize in Pedi, Mani and Thai Nail Art. Book early as her appointment book stays full particularly during the summer months.
ATV & SXS. We are within a couple miles of the Major trail heads. Smyrna Town Office is approximately 2 miles away if you need to register your machines

We returned with our Wellderness Retreats to Westerly (and Travelers) and again, our expectations were exceeded.
The sites are exceptionally clean, stocked and comfortable.
With access to so much surrounding nature and beauty it is so very easy to fall in love with Siberia Crossing.

A great first glamping experience for my 8yro and I. The Travelers site is well stocked with great views of Katahdin and the night sky!. Also clean and pretty new site while the solar-powered amenities are easy to use. Conveniently located close to Katahdin Woods and Water National Monument and Welcome/Contact Station, the Contact Station, late season riverine fishing, and a few local eateries. The host is thoughtful, responsive and genuine - offering responsive to our local attractions questions.

This spot is absolutely beautiful and quiet. If you want a spot out that is not at a packed campground, this is perfect. Full hookups, flat spot, easy out and in as well. Katahdin is right up the road, easy to reach the scenic overlook. Owner is very polite and hands off. This is my current favorite spot.

We were scheduled to stay 2 nights but called it short because of the incoming weather. The camp was beautiful with awesome views. The tents were super nice and well kept. The kitchen had everything you could ask for. The outhouse and shower were great. We heard coyotes at night. Lots of good communication from Steve and the gipcamp app made it easy to get key info when we needed it.

The place was spotlessly clean, and it provided a truly peaceful environment. We’re staying here while my spouse is working a travel nursing job. The hosts are super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The property is beautiful and I love all the little animals at the barn. The nature around this area is great and there are local Amish businesses close by that have fresh veggies, dairy, meat, and baked goods! I would recommend this site to anyone visiting the area!

I live locally and booked Travelers campsite for a staycation. It was incredible! Truly the perfect blend of amenities and wilderness—it had everything I needed to make food and coffee, and the gas fireplace is an awesome touch. The sunsets and dark skies are out of this world. I spent the entire day at camp, just reading and relaxing and enjoying the Katahdin views. The outdoor shower was luxe, and the tent has shade trees over it which kept it cool inside. Proximity to the monument makes it the perfect place to stay for day hikes also.
I can't believe this is right in my own backyard, and I will definitely be back! 10/10
