Gardiner Farms RV site is located on the Grindstone Rd/Rt 11 in Stacyville, Maine. The campsite is situated on a 200 acre lot with lots of room to hike about or walk your pets. The adjacent field is a working potato farm while the north end of the lot is older fields and woodlands. The Grindstone Rd is an approved ATV access route. We have places for 2 campers on this site. The main site includes 20/30/50 amp electric, water, sewer, and trash removal-no extra charges for anything. There is also a campfire pit on the premises. This year, we are making available for rent a Buddy site in case you are traveling with a friend with their own RV. This will be right in the driveway at the main site. This site will offer 15 amp electric and water if you have a wye valve. No worries, if you rent the main site, you will be the only one that can rent the Buddy site. Sorry, no WIFI, but you should be able to get a cell phone signal at the campsite. Millinocket is about 30 miles away and Houlton is about 45 miles. Katahdin Woods & Waters Monument https://www.nps.gov/kaww/index.htm is about 20 minutes away depending upon which parcel you want to access. The Penobscot Trail system (bicycles) https://penobscotrivertrails.org/ is 10 minutes away. In Patten, you will find the Lumberman's Museum https://lumbermensmuseum.org/ and several restaurants and takeouts. Excellent canoeing/kayaking, hunting and fishing on the East Branch of the Penobscot River. Old Home Days in Sherman is Labor Day Weekend. This campsite is open from May 15th to October 15th.

Buddy Site at Gardiner Farms

The Buddy Site is located at the Gardiner Farms Site so if you are traveling with another camping friend, you can park in the driveway right behind them and have access to water if you have a wye, and whatever electrical outlets are left in the pedestal which has 20/30/50 amp outlets. After your traveling companions leave the main site, you can pull onto the stone pad and dump your tanks. NOTE: This site can only be rented by the person who is renting the main campsite. If you want to rent both sites, rent out the main site first and then message us and we can make this site available to you.

Established in 2021, this lot is private, single site (we have 2 garages there for our own usage only) and you will be the only party there. We offer 20/30/50 amp service, sewer, trash removal, water, and a fire pit for campfires for this site. There are no other facilities here so you must have a self contained RV with a bathroom. The site is located on the southeast corner of a 200 acre parcel that we own. Adjacent to the site is an ag field where you may see potatoes or grain crops grown. North of the fields are additional unfarmed fields and woodlots where you can walk the dogs (yes, we are pet friendly), hike, or hunt during the fall. This site is located on an ATV access road too so, while you cannot ride on our property, you can offload your wheelers at the campsite and ride the road to nearby club trails. There is plenty of room to park an extra trailer for ATV transport. Not far from the East Branch of the Penobscot River, Katahdin Woods and Waters and the Penobscot Trails for bicycling. In Patten, about 15 miles away, you'll find the Lumberman's Museum, a micro brewery, and restaurants. About 40 miles to Houlton and 28 to Millinocket. Just 5 miles from exit 264 of I-95. (NOTE: In 2025, we are offering the driveway as a Buddy Site in case you are traveling with a 2nd RV. Message us if you want both sites and I can make it available to you on the calendar. Only the person renting the main site may rent the Buddy Site.)
