When we first purchased our property, we were made aware of a young fella needing a spot to set up his yurt. He lived with us for two years before moving along. We had enjoyed having him and his yurt on our land so when he left, It left a virtual and metaphorical hole.
A couple years later we had an opportunity to purchase a yurt from an outdoor adventure company and so it began. We improved upon our tenant's idea by adding a proper outhouse and outdoor shower area. The space offered us a quiet haven during hectic times and now we are ready to share that opportunity.
Our yurt sits on a quiet and private nook on our 7 acre property. We are right in between Kennebunk and Biddeford so there are quite a number of areas to explore if you make us your home base. It is a lovely 6 mile ride to Goose Rocks Beach or you can spend an afternoon walking around Dock's Square in Kennebunkport. Biddeford is a rapidly rebuilding mill town that has made several high profile food and travel publications for its great dining spots.
If you are visiting to get away from the city, we are less than a mile away from the Eastern Trail which connects South Portland to Kittery, ME. Bring a bike or plan a quiet walk. We have a little fire pit so feel free to spend the day here and enjoy the birds.

Watersrock Woods Campsites are private tent and remote camping locations in the beautiful Southern Maine forest. Site #1 is a decent sized remote tent site with spots for 1 -3 tents, 1 - 2 cars max and 6 guests. Site #2 is a very large remote tent site with spots for multiple tents, multiple vehicles and 8 guests. Site #3 is the smallest remote tent sites with spots for 1 or 2 tents, 1 - 2 cars max and 4 guests.
All 3 sites are mostly surrounded by 6' natural berms with lots of pine trees between each campsite creating additional privacy. They all have a picnic table and fire pit. Campsite site #2 is a larger space with plenty of room for multiple cars and 5 -6 tents. It has a propane barbecue grill, picnic table, fire pit, hammock, outdoor patio set with seating for 6.
A shared portapotty is on site and cleaned weekly from May 1st - October 31st. There isn’t electricity or running water and there is spotty cell phone service but a its great wooded spot for some remote camping in Southern Maine.
There is a nearby tote road for guests to go on nature hikes. (5 - 10 miles) There is a path that leads down to a brook that abuts the property and there is a 1/4 mile dirt road that leads to the Little Ossipee River that's great for wading, fishing, tubing, etc.. There are also free local public swimming spots within 10 minutes in any direction that don't get a lot of traffic and hiking trails in abutting towns.
The town of Limerick has a grocery store, hardware store, convenience store, a post office and dollar general for your other needs. (Within 5 - 6 minutes) It is a small town of approximately 3300 people. They say if you blink you'll miss it. It is very peaceful. Great for camping, fishing, glamping or relaxing! We love it out here and hope you will too!

We are located off a busy street where cars drive a little too fast — if you have a dog that needs to be walked daily, we would recommend stopping by the beach or one of the many nearby walking trails instead of venturing down the road.

Large camping spot on the edge of a 125-acre farm. Convenient to most locations in Southern Maine and NH. Located near the center of town, there are stores and restaurants within a 5-minute drive. Excellent location to be away from tourist areas but close enough to visit -Beaches 20-30 minutes, RT 95-15 mins, Portland 45; Portsmouth-45 mins, Kittery Outlets -30 mins. White Mountains 1 hour 30 mins.
NOTE- This is Maine, so we do have ticks. We strongly encourage the use of spray on yourselves and pets.
NOISE- We are near a state road, so there will be some hum of road noise, unfortunately.
Site has an open area with sunny or shaded place to set up camp. Guests are welcome to walk or hike around the property. There are open fields and some rough hiking trails (wear good shoes!) Small stream runs through the property and there are wild turkeys, deer and other wildlife about.
This is a rustic site with picnic table, fire ring and chemical toilet. Pretty and peaceful. Plenty of room to pull in a motorhome, camper or pop up

I stayed here for a few nights on my way to Acadia and it was a great place to stay. The farm was so cute. It was very easy getting into the spot and the water and electricity hook ups were conveniently located. My dog loved the enclosed orchard space for running around. Cheryl and her family were very nice and welcoming. I would stay here again.

Great spot! A little slice of peace in what otherwise would seem a suburban area. Linda and Andrew were super responsive even with our last minute landing, they had fresh cut wood ready for us by their great spacious fire pit by the river.
We camped in our 20ft van in the parking area and had plenty of room to pull in and turn around. Great spot!

It's a lovely small field surrounded by forest. We were the only ones there and were car camping. It was perfect for that. There's a bit of car noise from the street, but nothing that bothered us. We came in late and left early so we didn't have a chance to enjoy making a fire in the fire pit. A bit of a challenge to find the entrance in the dark and Jay warned us about that. Far easier to see in the daylight.

Great little cabin! We came with our 5.5 month and dog. Was plenty of space for a pack and play that we brought and a dog bed. It was at the end of the row and there weren’t any rvs or campers for a few spaces so it felt like more private. Cabin was very clean. We rented linens for $10 from them and they were clean and comfy. Came with a fridge, tv, ac, and heater, fire pit, picnic table, water, and electricity. Fire wood for sale at office along with a bunch of other useful things in the store. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

Weekend Trip to Island View At Kiwanis Beach
We have stayed at the Island View campsite twice, and we love it. Sarah is an excellent host. She is extremely helpful and a joy to talk to. Eva is also very pleasant and helpful. The tent is cozy and the site is stocked with all you should need for a peaceful glamping experience. We had an awesome time swimming in the lake, watching for eagles, star gazing, and sitting by the fire. During both of our stays, there were events on the beach on Saturday, but both groups were quiet and respectful. One was a cardboard regatta, and that was a riot. We walked down to the beach and enjoyed the show. There is a convenience store down the street from the site which makes it easy to stock up on ice and other necessities without going too far off-site. If you want to check out the surrounding area, there are several shops and restaurants to try. There is also a supermarket not far down the road. We were very happy with the location and enjoyed all of the time we spent at Kiwanis Beach. We will be back.

Awesome location was great to get my son out and great first step to more off grid camping. The outhouse was clean. There was a picnic table, two chairs and a fire pit. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We checked out Lyman Bunganut Pond Recreation which was awesome! Highly recommend it!
