When we first purchased our property, we were made aware of a young fella needing a spot to set up his yurt. He lived with us for two years before moving along. We had enjoyed having him and his yurt on our land so when he left, It left a virtual and metaphorical hole.
A couple years later we had an opportunity to purchase a yurt from an outdoor adventure company and so it began. We improved upon our tenant's idea by adding a proper outhouse and outdoor shower area. The space offered us a quiet haven during hectic times and now we are ready to share that opportunity.
Our yurt sits on a quiet and private nook on our 7 acre property. We are right in between Kennebunk and Biddeford so there are quite a number of areas to explore if you make us your home base. It is a lovely 6 mile ride to Goose Rocks Beach or you can spend an afternoon walking around Dock's Square in Kennebunkport. Biddeford is a rapidly rebuilding mill town that has made several high profile food and travel publications for its great dining spots.
If you are visiting to get away from the city, we are less than a mile away from the Eastern Trail which connects South Portland to Kittery, ME. Bring a bike or plan a quiet walk. We have a little fire pit so feel free to spend the day here and enjoy the birds.

Watersrock Woods Campsites are private tent and remote camping locations in the beautiful Southern Maine forest. One site is a remote tent site with spots for multiple tents. It has a picnic table and fire pit. The other site is a larger space with a little more privacy and spaces for multiple tents. It has a propane barbecue grill, picnic table, fire pit, hammock, outdoor patio set with umbrella with seating for 6. There are lots of pine trees and both sites are partially surrounded with large 6' natural berms creating additional privacy. The Property is adjacent to a small brook which is great for fishing and relaxing. There are some swimming holes in the Little Ossipee River which is located a short walking distance from the camp site. Very peaceful. Great for camping, fishing, glamping or relaxing! There are also free local public swimming beaches in 10 minutes in any direction, that don't get a lot of traffic.

Surround yourself in the natural beauty of a working flower farm in Maine in this quiet, secluded location that's close to area beaches, lighthouses, and more. Located about an acre behind our family home (which you can see from the spot), the camp site is within steps of our barn, which has both running water and electrical hookups (20amps) for campers to use. An open field next door plays host to numerous deer and turkeys, and the flower fields feature a rotating lineup of beautiful blooms (depending on the time of the season.)
We are located off a busy street where cars drive a little too fast — if you have a dog that needs to be walked daily, we would recommend stopping by the beach or one of the many nearby walking trails instead of venturing down the road.
Max length of vehicles is 30 feet -- we've found that any longer and the turns are too tight.

This is a working flower flower farm and on occasion there will need to be someone working in the field near to the campsite, often during the very early hours of the morning (5am during the spring and summer, later in the fall.) That said, we don't use tractors or any heavy machinery and we will always make our best effort to communicate this ahead of time.

Beautiful land on Salmon Falls River. Property has deck for fishing, and launch for kayaks.Learn more about this land:Large land lot on the NH/ME border. Right on the Salmon Falls River. Great kayaking spot. Secluded fire pit for campers only. Fish off our deck, light a fire and pass around smores while telling ghost stories. Then wake up to the fog rolling off the river, next to chickens playing in the garden. Take a trip down the river in your kayaks or canoe and then call it a day.Site is for tents only. Parking is available for free on the private street in front of the house. At this moment, we only accept 1 night reservations. Firepit is provided, firewood must be brought in, or can be purchased from host if needed. Commode is also on site. This is a pack in pack out site.

Kellie was very proactive and positive throughout answering planning questions, providing extra help to make our stay even better, scheduling and providing Us with fantastic massages. The site was great, spread out comfortably, cool fixed table and fire benches that worked out sweetly. There were plenty of provided items to make set up quick and fun throughout our weekend, The very tidy & easy use outhouse was very nice, The site has a great placement on the property, along with being close to retail areas. Amy’s Treeyurt was so special! We had a fantastic cozy getaway and absolutely loved the wood stove and fire pit outside. The space was clean and cozy and had everything you could need! This was especially nice because there wasn’t much packing involved on our end in able to cook and enjoy meals. The outhouse was also very clean! There are plenty of trails nearby that were easy to find and we ended up brewery hopping as well and were no more than 15 mins from the yurt at any time. This is definitely the perfect spot for winter/spring glamping! We are hoping to visit in the summer! Thank you, Amy!

Weekend Trip to Hidden Brook At Merrifield Farm
My teenage daughter asked if I’d bring her and her friend camping or glamping for a night. I knew I didn’t want to set up a tent, and I needed a place that allowed a one night rental. I found Andrews’ Purple Bus, and messaged her asking if she’d be okay letting us rent it the very next night (nothing like spur of the moment). She responded quickly, and was all in, said she just needed to rake some leaves.
The property is immaculately kept amidst a woods setting. She had warmed the bus already by starting a fire in the wood stove. The place is well stocked with any incidentals one might forget, and the space is all used perfectly to fit 3 beds, a table, a kitchen area, and a wood stove. The bus abutts a deck that has a well stocked outdoor kitchen that is also very well stocked with the necessary cooking utensils and such. The wood stove keeps the bus warm at night. The lighting made for great ambiance while we played some board games, and turn off with a click of a remote leaving a perfect dark interior (you know, the kind of pure darkness you get without electronics, and street lights, and other technological nuisances!) which make for a deep sleep, as the wood crackles in the stove. Simple and easy in all the best ways. Thank you for welcoming us on such short notice.

Amazing place to camp. We had site 2 and couldn’t have been happier. My girlfriend talked about making it a yearly trip. Woods all around you, super flat ground great for tents. Good fire pit, didn’t use the grill but very nice to have. It had three tables, one with benches and the others with 4 and 2 chairs. Tons of fire woods all around and Matt is super friendly and has bundles. He came and greeted us immediately, had an amazing vibe and then left us to ourselves. Hope to come back and explore all the trails on the land. Felt very private, especially for us as one couple.

The idyllic location for being in nature. The yurt was wonderfully set up. We enjoyed hot tea each night. The property is close to amenities while feeling removed from the hustle and bustle of it all. Despite the cold we enjoyed an outdoor shower. The property is near a trail to take in all the changing leaves. The hosts were so kind and thoughtful and provided spot on recommendations. We are so grateful!
