Amazing place to camp. We had site 2 and couldn’t have been happier. My girlfriend talked about making it a yearly trip. Woods all around you, super flat ground great for tents. Good fire pit, didn’t use the grill but very nice to have. It had three tables, one with benches and the others with 4 and 2 chairs. Tons of fire woods all around and Matt is super friendly and has bundles. He came and greeted us immediately, had an amazing vibe and then left us to ourselves. Hope to come back and explore all the trails on the land. Felt very private, especially for us as one couple.

Very nice camp in the pines trees.
Well kept campground with 2 sites, far enough away to not have any contact. Clean porta potty, friendly campground host, very quiet.
I hope to get back here again one day.

This is a fun, mostly private site. It covers the basics quite well, which is just what we wanted. We stayed at site 1, but site 2 has more space/privacy and would be fantastic for a group.

We enjoyed Matt's site. Very secluded and plenty of space. Having the grill and hammock was a major plus! We will definitely be back. Thanks for having this site...it was my 1 and 3 year old girl's first camping trip and the best spot for them to experience Maine wilderness.

It was a great place to camp. The trees at the sites were great for the really hot days to get away from the sun. Matt was very kind and was full of information on the area. My group stayed at both camp sites. Great places to tent and hammock for both site 1 and 2. A couple of us did us a truck with a tent on it for both sites. Site 1 is a little smaller, I recommend hammocking but still room for tenting. Site 2 was the best out of both sites. It was relaxing and not far from swimming spots and/or fishing. Thanks for everything had a blast!

I loved how spacious and quiet the area was. I stayed at site #2 and was surprised to find the space incredibly well taken care of. Bonus that there is a porta potty between both sites, but not visible from #2. It was a delightful adventure and I highly recommend.

This is a really nice campsite with very easy access from Boston. We had planned to visit Northern Maine and were seeking a spot about halfway for the trip. This location is nestled in a pine forest with a floor of pine needles that is quite flat and ideal for tent siting. There is a river nearby or multiple public access beaches for lakes with clean water. The host Matt was very proactive and came out to greet us, gave us tips on swimming locations, noted the firewood supply, and the Porta Potty. There was plenty of space between tent sites, so we never heard anyone. And the next morning, we got an early start and made it to our destination refreshed. Much preferable to a hotel.

Watersrock Woods Tent Site #2
My friends and I stayed at Watersrock #2 and it was great. The site is very private. Even though another group was staying at Watersrock #1 we barely noticed them. The campsite and toilet were clean. Matt came by to see if we had any needs and explained where all the local beaches were (4 within 10 minutes of the site!). He also said he would come by the next day with a fresh tank of propane for the grill, which was waiting for us when we got back from one of the beaches. He was very friendly and affable, a great host! We'd definitely stay again.

Watersrock Woods Tent Site #2
Came here for the 4th of July with a group of 9 people and it was perfect! The camp is very spacious so we fit everyone easily. The portapotty nearby was super convenient and in good shape. The water in the swimming hole was low so we weren't able to swim much there, but there's so many swimming areas within a 15 minute drive that it wasn't an issue. We would definitely come back here again

It was a quiet and private spot, just what I was looking for. River down the road was easy to find. Had a chance to cool off in the river in a sunny hot summer day, and enjoy nature!

Potty was very clean. A bit of a tight fit if you have a bigger vehicle (we have a Tacoma double cab and had to be careful). Saw a black bear on the road by the potty one morning. Scared my wife a little but it went towards the main road and didn't return. We had the private camping trip that we were expecting and will return.
