Great space for the nature lover! Being here for Equinox was awesome on the land as the host members are in transition for gardening. The people are very welcoming as I noticed before. The compost toilets are easy to use and clean. I will visit again when the garden is in full season.

My kids loved exploring the rocks and looking at all the animals! The yurt is clean, cute, and cozy, and the campsite was perfectly stocked for novice campers like us. Great for young kids—room to run and explore, and only my youngest needed help on the fascinating rocks/boulders that the yurt is built on. I’d like to visit in other seasons—more foliage would make the campsite feel even more off the grid!

Bobby and Courtney were amazing during my recent stay. I needed a washer for my water hose and they were willing to bring one up and Bobby replaced it for me. It was a very stormy day and they assured me they’d give a warning if anything dangerous was coming since I work nights and sleep days which allowed me to feel safe to sleep. I would stay anytime the site is available. Great spot and folks!

My husband, three dogs and I had a great stay. The hosts were very communicative to make sure we were able to find the place easily, it’s a great pull through site with full hookups. It’s a nice and quiet location with some cute cows for neighbors. The location is about 30 minutes from Nashville and 1 hour from Mammoth Caves. We would absolutely recommend this location

Shut any gates you come through.please understand that my horses are of all ages and that includes young ones and babies and seniors as well. The young ones like to be nosey and are still learning what they are allowed to do and what not to do. They are naturally curious and love attention. If they think you have snacks , they can act like a pack of kindergarteners with the promise of cupcakes...we don't want that but because some campers think they are the exception and gave them snacks, it is something we have to monitor more closely. Remember they are animals and they will get into anything if it's left unattended. Please be a responsible camper and ensure we all stay safe and enjoy the experience.We have a section for folks to park in if they do not want to be so close to the horses as well. If you don't like horses or dogs please consider alternative camp site. Limited pet allowance...check before booking please. Also, we've had issues with the site and it offering horse time, ride, Q&A etc. for 5$. We've taken steps to fix this. On The Rocks Campsite

We are open March through December, offering a fan and shaded areas in the summer, and a small fireplace electric heater in the cooler months. Winter can sometimes be a bit chilly, and summer quite humid, but we do have campers almost year round. Brand name Bell 16 foot round tent built on sturdy cedar deck on top of a cluster of large limestone rocks in beautiful grove of mostly Maple and Oak trees. My oldest son Ben, and I built this campsite in January of 2024, from both our visions, and tried to make it a truly magical setting. Ben was also featured in two episodes of Building Off The Grid, on the Discovery Channel, so he put quite a bit of expertise and knowledge into our site. I love hosting and decorating, so the interior of the tent is constantly changing. Also features cedar outhouse with composting toilet, cedar bridges built across rocks, as well as hammock area, picnic table and gas grill. Firepit has Adirondack chairs, natural log seating and several more folding chairs, pillows and outdoor blankets stored in waterproof chest. Tent features a queen size bed, adult size folding cot stored under bed, adult size sleeping pad, 2 upholstered chairs set up as reading/relaxing nook, coffee maker, fan and Yeti battery pack for electrical and charging needs. We will provide drinking water and extra water for washing up. We supply all linens and dishware needs. First Aid Kit is provided, but we are just a short walk through the woods if you need anything. Nestled on 1 acre of our 10 acre hobby farm, which includes Peacocks, chickens, 4 cats, 5 Collies and a Weimaraner named Maggie, as well as a couple of goats, including a very friendly dwarf goat named Pickles. You may also see wildlife, such as deer and turkey, strolling down the meadow on the lower part of your site. Strands of lighting and battery candles provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Fire pit area features large metal ice bucket, with coolers available if you need one. For additional fees we can provide you with firewood, fresh eggs, homemade breads, cookies, and ask us about some home cooked meals!

There is parking at the campsites. Parking is within walking distance of all campsites. Waters edge is approximately 100 to 200 yards from all campsites and you do have to walk to the waters edge. Water is visible from most campsites. There is only one path currently to the water. But new paths are welcome to anyone who wants to make a shorter path from there campsite to the water. Near Fall Creeks Falls, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls all within Driving distance. Literature is available at office for local entertainment and things to see and do in the area. WIldwood Marina is just across the lake with great food entertainment and Pontoons for rent.
