There is a porta potty on the property and we have camping toilets if you need one. Just let us know ahead. No water or electricity is available on the property. There will be signs of some suggested camping spots we have used in the past also. Atv’s, dirt bikes welcome! Please take out what you bring in! Feel free to contact me for directions. GPS may not take you directly to Tiny Jones road, but it’s the 1st right after Knowlton church. There will be a sign on the road that says Tilting Rock Trail to the left. Follow the drive about a mile into the property and pick a spot where you like!

Beautiful property! My husband and I brought our two dogs for a peaceful weekend in our travel trailer. The location had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed several hiking trails in the area, grilled delicious meals under the large shelter, and relaxed by the fire with a perfect view of the stars. This location exceeded our expectations and the onsite bathroom was a bonus! We highly recommend this spot and will be back next fall!

I just got back from a 3 night stay at Savys Retreat and I’m already planning my next trip. It’s in a beautiful part of Kentucky, especially in the fall. The property sits down a dead end road, single lane but well maintained, and it’s one of the last places out there so it’s quiet, private, and peaceful. Everything about the site is well thought out and taken care of. You can tell the owners take pride in it. The setup felt more like an RV resort than a campsite, plenty of space, clean, and everything you could need. I spent my evenings sitting by the fire watching the sunset, then stayed out until the stars came out. Hard to beat that. The hosts were quick to respond, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. If you’re looking for a relaxing, private spot to unwind, this is it.

I picked this spot to camp because of the proximity to Mount Sterling Court days. Perfect spot for tent or teardrop dispersed camping. Tim and Rhonda were very helpful. Met several neighbors and acquaintances during Saturday's campfire and they're just all good people. I'm inclined to think that I'm going to make this an annual sojourn. It was more like visiting friends than a campground.

My 5 nights here were awesome! It's out in the woods on a curvy mountain road on the side of a hill with a level packed gravel site under a cover. The dead end road to it is 1 lane with few neighbors and is very peaceful. The covered site and the half bath were great. Absolutely the best Hipcamp out of the 7 I have stayed at for sure. Squirrels barking in the trees, and hoot owls at night, and a great firepit with wood......a great place to chill out and unwind! I will definitely be back next Spring with my Harley to ride the awesome twisty, curvy mountain roads in the area! I hiked Turkey Foot, West and East Pinnacle trails and Flat Rock trail. It's 20 minutes to Berea with many places to shop and eat.

Host was super communicative, and the property was secluded, and GORGEOUS. I would, without a doubt, book again. Close enough to Natural Bridge that it’s not a terrible drive, but far enough away to be able to enjoy a peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and tourists. I absolutely loved the location.

We just took our little renovated camper out for the very first time, and this spot could not have been more perfect. What a magical place! It was private, spacious, and such a wonderful fit for myself, my husband, and our two-year-old. The bathroom with a toilet and sink was such a welcome addition—such a convenience that made things so much easier. We loved having a fire, slowing down, and just enjoying the quiet. It was incredibly peaceful—you couldn’t hear cars or any outside noise, just the stillness of nature. Exactly what we were hoping for. Truly the perfect getaway.

This was a nice camping spot that felt very secluded. There were a few spots, we ended up near the cabin and it was a good campsite with a fire pit and picnic table. To get to the campsites you drive back through the woods on a gravel road. Would definitely stay again.

Get-a-way. Quiet and dark. Calm and peaceful. Kind hosts greet you and then leave you to yourself. This site offers no frills but everything you need. From a common area with propane, grills, and some snackage, to included kayaks and a canoe. Quiet country roads—the kind that could take you home to the place you belong—allow walking and cycling and are never too far from a grocery or small town restaurant. WiFi does not exist here and that is okay (I promise). You will get a few bars for texting and some minor streaming. Radio and digital TV signals from Evansville (IN) and Louisville (KY) allow for some connection if you want it. Otherwise, wake up, have a coffee, stare at the pond, read, check and then ignore your email, take a nap, write a little, catch some sunfish or small bass or crappie, throw them back, buy things from Amish roadside stands (especially bake sales), go to the Dollar Store for groceries 10mins away. Wanna go a bit further? Go hiking or fishing or boating 30min away at Rough River State Park, drive 30ish mins to Owensboro for Barbecue the Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Green River Distillery, visit Holiday World Theme park an hour away for a couple of the country’s best rollercoasters and a giant waterpark with free sodas and free sunscreen, or drive 90 mins to Mammoth Cave National Park. Regardless, don’t go here or tell anyone about it because I don’t want it to get busy…

This camp site is well laid out, so private, and peaceful. We hadn't camped in a long time and wanted to be some place we could take our dog and just be away from the noise. This was it. Clean, well taken care of, and even though it's a bit off the beaten path, it's still not too far from Berea if you want to shop or go hiking. There's so much space you don't feel closed in. Rare thing at a campsite. The last few miles of the drive are narrow and winding so be prepared for that.

We had a great time staying at Harbour park. The site was awesome, private and secluded. Tim had full hookups available making it super convenient. Learn more about this land: I live on 5.5 acres. It's peaceful and quiet and I love it here. I've stayed at other hip camps and simply decided that I would love to share my little slice of heaven with others passing through my area.&nbsp; Notes: there is a wee bit of road noise, I live on a dead end road, there are 10 acres between my 5 acres&nbsp;and the Blue Grass Parkway.&nbsp; I find it peaceful here and can easily ignore it but I'm mentioning it so your not surprised by it&nbsp; ;)&nbsp; The Neighbors dog may come visit while you are here but is very nice and leaves if you tell him to :) You are welcome to hang a hammock in a small section of woods, by a small pond, or even on my covered porch. You are welcome to pitch a tent anywhere you like. You are welcome to park an RV or vehicle in the drive.&nbsp; The drive is about 250ft long, you would need to back in in order to hook up to the 50 amp plug. RV's can use the 50 amp plug (30 amp will need an adapter. I have one you can use if you don't own one of your own) and hose for water. I have an outdoor shower and a camping toilet. I am ... - one hour from Lexington, Louisville, Elizabethtown, and Frankfort.- 1 mile from a mini mart with Gas, Ice, Pizza, Chicken Wings, Sandwiches, ect.- 6 miles from Dollar General and A pizza Restaurant - 15 ish miles from Wal-mart and other chain stores and restaurants I'm a great travel guide so feel free to tell me what your in town for or things you like to do. I will happily make you up a list of things to do and see and places to eat. Keenland, Churchill Downs, The Bourbon Tour (Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Heaven Hill, and many others) are within an hour of here. Also within an hour are 2 great bike paths, wonderful hiking and kayaking. As well as Great Shopping and Restaurants. Anything your heart desires. Using GPS Directions i would suggest avoiding Tunnel Mill Rd and Murphy Lane if towing a camper or driving an RV.

My grandparents, Donald Clayton Russell & Jewel Geneva (Davis) Russell, purchased this little piece of heaven to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cincinnati life. Judy was born in a little cabin just down the road. Judy & Don along with many family members have made cherished memories here over the years. We want to share its beauty with you and your family. Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. My grandparents, Donald Clayton Russell & Jewel Geneva (Davis) Russell, purchased this little piece of heaven to get away from the hustle and bustle of Cincinnati life. Judy was born in a little cabin just down the road. Judy & Don along with many family members have made cherished memories here over the years. We want to share its beauty with you and your family. Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. Although there are no showers available to campers/guests, on request I will take folks for a pool, sauna and steam spa day at Lake Barkley resort where I am a member, $10 cover per guest. Plenty of hiking is available at LBL, just 8 miles away. I can provide intel on good fishing and backcountry spots. There is fantastic antiquing and thrifting in Cadiz and Murray, and I can introduce you to the Amish market for the most affordable groceries you've ever bought in your life. Sometimes I cook for people especially if it's a group. It'll usually be vegan chili con carne and skillet cornbread, Korean chajangmen, or some tasty variety of Asian seasoned vegetable soup with homemade bread. I am 90% ovo-lacto vegetarian except in cases of hunting guests offering their own catfish, bass, venison, boar or turkey, in which case I fire up the bbq and get busy, because hunters are essential for environmental preservation. The fire ring is available for traditional cast iron cooking. Dogs under 50 lbs are welcome if they're trained, you clean up after them, keep them leashed around guests and kenneled at night. I have 2 small dogs and I can kennel them on request.

This ecological art project is currently recruiting visitors to camp in beautiful fields, on woodland rim sites, or at delicate campsites located along a system of woodland trails. As of 2025, camping here provides a glimpse into the fourth year of succession. This current phase is characterized by spacious views of a gently rolling young prairie contrasted with the rocky and steep slopes of the mature forest. Most likely a good fit for self-sufficient types that like campsites with generous spacing, but still want to get out to the park quickly (~7 miles to the Visitors Center) or travel into Cave City (3 mi) for coffee/ice-cream/pizza/barbecue/bar/food/etc. Expand from the campsite into a sketch-work of trails, as if camping near the headquarters of a satellite nature reserve. All sites except Spicebush have a filtered water output. Spicebush campers will have water access next to parking. Camping funds allow us to plant trees (~525 seedlings as of March 2025), establish prairie grasses and flowers, restore wetlands, create trails, and remove invasive species. If you have only 2 days, a nice way to experience Mammoth Cave NP is to break the trip into 3 layers, covering the underworld (cave tours), upper world (hiking), and the water that connects the two (Green River kayaking). Mammoth Cave is unique in the way that a study of the underworld will repeatedly draw the mind into a creative space of imagining what is beneath the surface, how these worlds are connected, while navigating park land and water. Note that we offer kayak trips that can be tailored to your schedule and travel constraints. Thanks to our visitors for supporting this type of project! Bundles of dried and split firewood are available onsite, usually a mix of oak with a suggested donation of $6/bundle, delivered to the campsite. Kayaks are hosted on a suggested donation basis ($45) providing a flexible option for visitors to float the Green River through the national park. Pending availability, we offer tent setups as well to folks who want to camp but aren't traveling with gear (REI 4 person Half Dome). Tent setup comes with two sleeping pads (you will need pillows, blankets, etc.).
