Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Nestled in the Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone National Forest, this female veteran- and family-owned wildlife sanctuary offers fishing, camping, hiking, and access to more than 1,000 miles of Jeep and 4x4 trails. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, creeks, and ponds, we're continually adding new campsites and glamping opportunities. You'll also enjoy easy access to local events, including live music and exciting off-roading adventures such as the Boone Forest Rally and the Appalachia 1000, hosted by our neighbors. Please respect the wildlife—our property is home to many native species, and we take pride in living in harmony with nature. RV sites and Airbnb accommodations are coming soon! Come experience our little piece of heaven, which has been in our family for nearly 250 years. With generations of history and a deep connection to the land, we'd love to share this special place with you.

Shady pondside offers a tent site you can park at and enjoy shade while fishing or just enjoying the view. Privacy and the end of the road around my favorite pond. Dog friendly as long as it won't jump a gate and chase cows lol. 8 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the restroom or shower. We are new at this and working on some very cool upcoming amenities.

Lakeside 1
Wow, We are honored to be the first visitors!. The staff were all very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our quiet time by the pond (please see video, lol) The American history that has taken place on this large track of property is very impressive. We learned of the plans to refurbish buildings, make copies of historical documents and plans that will educate and increase historical appreciation for future visitors. The master plan also will accommodate many groups with different interests, a natural amphitheater where concerts will be held and a venue for weddings. Located very close to Kentucky’s Red River Gorge, in a few short years this piece of heaven will be on the map and will have a large draw for people with similar interests. The campground has direct access to over 1,000 miles of trails for motorized recreational vehicles in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We are in the early stages planning on returning with our UTV.
