You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end).
We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people.
We welcome pets for camping, but no pets allow in the Camping Cabin. Also be aware that we have 2 friendly dogs on the land that roam freely.

Hones Pointe was established in 1988. It was built by four insurance agents to elude our sales managers so we could enjoy a unique natural setting. Over the years, we have planted many different varieties of trees and perennials to observe. Also evidence exists of this area being an Indian camp long ago as suggested by arrowheads and an old handmade rock wall.
Primitive camping where you can pick your own scenic spot. We will furnish picnic table, fire ring, garbage can, and charcoal grill during your campout.

Forty private acres on the edge of wilderness. Three intentionally spaced campsites sit across rolling knobs and a central ridge, with a seasonal creek cutting through the timber below. The land is quiet, wooded, and surrounded by thousands of acres of Hoosier National Forest. Directly across the road lies the Charles C. Deam Wilderness — step off the property and into protected backcountry!
Each site offers space, privacy, and defined staging for a comfortable stay. Expect mature hardwoods, changing light across the ridge at sunrise and sunset, and minimal artificial noise. Wildlife movement is common, and nights are dark!
The Cutright Boat Ramp on Lake Monroe is seven minutes away for boating, fishing, and swimming. Bloomington is fifteen minutes away for dining, fuel, and supplies. You are close to activity without being inside it.
Access to the camp is practical. There are two gravel driveways, each leading to a campsite.
This is not a crowded campground. It is low-density acreage positioned between water and wilderness, designed for campers who want space, quiet, and immediate access to Southern Indiana’s most visited outdoor corridor.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and had a great time. The land was beautiful, the cabin was nice and cozy, and the hosts were super nice. The outdoor kitchen was fun to cook at out in the woods and their cat croft kept us good company😂 i would recommend this place if you want somewhere cozy to get away

Weekend Trip to Nightfall Farm
Everything we needed for our trip to Clifty Falls! Liz was a great host, making the time to create instructions to the cabin site for our nighttime arrival. The farm eggs were delicious and we had leftover campfire wood! The swing bench by the fire pit was romantic, the outdoor kitchen had everything we needed, and the car parking spot was the right amount of convenience from the cabin while still being surrounded by the woods. The morning sunshine and birds were the best to wake up to 💐

The sites are well maintained and spacious. Plenty of flat ground for setting up tents and ground coverings. A spacious fire pit and the cleanest outhouse I’ve ever seen. The convenience of being so close to Louisville is huge too. An all around great experience.

Great one night stay. Beds were comfy and clean. Beautiful farm and land. Owners were kind and gave us great directions. I didn't get to meet them, but we got in super late. Showers looked super clean. I'd stay again for sure!

Peaceful place. Bit of a walk considering I packed for two but ended up going by myself. But would definitely go again. And don't trust google maps. It gets you close but not quite. It said I was there but the road I needed was only a few hundred yards from where i was.

Shelby's place is absolutely excellent. More to the point, she was very responsive. I was able to call her up with about a day's notice, and stayed for 2 weeks, in the mid-winter off-season, when not a lot of other places are still policing their areas. Nice quiet spot down by the creek, it was great.

My husband, our 3 boys, and I stayed in the camping cabin for last minute, quick, weekend getaway. Kerry”s directions were clear, so we had no difficulty finding it. When we arrived, he met us near the front and showed us where we were staying. He showed us around and told the boys about the net, the pigs, and the rope swing. They couldn’t wait to start exploring, and even though it was cold outside, they had a blast playing and didn’t want to come inside. The cabin was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the heater worked really well. Everything was just as described, and my only regret is that we only got to stay for one night. None of us were ready to leave. Kerry was friendly, very accommodating, and responded super quickly to messages. I definitely plan to make another trip here when we are able to stay longer.

This is our second time here and my goodness, it’s perfect. My daughter loves hiking on the property and petting the horses. It has everything you NEED and the warm shelter after a rainy hike at McCormicks Creek State Park is always what we need. Can’t wait to come back again. Our little dude with Cerebral Palsy could absolutely love this property too.

I had a great experience. I stayed at Holmes Hideaway site and it was beautiful - on the river with seclusion, fire pits, and plenty of tree cover. I went in mid-november and it was not crowded. Everything done through the app and I was left alone. It was a fun weekend.
