For the safety of all the dogs, your pets must be contained/on a leash at least until all of the dogs can get to know each other.

Our cabins sits on 100 acres.
Our cabins have AC/Heat. A dry sink are in each cabin are provided. Roast hotdogs over your private fire pit as
a fire pit is just outside the cabin along with private picnic table. We have a shower bathroom house. You provide your own towel, and soap products.
Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash and under your control at all times. Privy's are found just outside the cabin.
We have miles of hiking trails and several spring fed creeks so take your hiking boots off and wade in the clean cool water.
Stars are in abundance at Guthrie Meadows so star gazing is a must!

Hones Pointe was established in 1988. It was built by four insurance agents to elude our sales managers so we could enjoy a unique natural setting. Over the years, we have planted many different varieties of trees and perennials to observe. Also evidence exists of this area being an Indian camp long ago as suggested by arrowheads and an old handmade rock wall.

The farm is located 15 minutes west of Indiana Universities Memorial Stadium. The property is nice and private. The farm adjoins the 75 acre Stranger Hills Organic farm, the oldest organic farm in Indiana. Our 1899 Farmhouse is the only residence on the entire farm. There is a 3000 acre farm to our south. The area is quiet and very private. The campsites are in a grassy walnut grove by a small creek that runs along the eastern border of the property. We have a white deer creek cabin tent on a platform there and 3 or 4 nice level campsites to the north. There are 3 RV sites at the top of a small hill with 30 amp service. We can accommodate a large RV on packed gravel with 50 amp service. the farm is located 15 minutes east of McCormicks Creek State Park. There is a composting toilet and an on demand hot shower in a small building adjacent to the campsites. There is a YMCA about five minutes East of the property. We now have a no dog policy. I haven’t been able to change it on the site.

We brought our 12-foot homebuilt camper for Labor Day weekend, and Butch made our stay great. Worked really well with me on the early drop-off of my camper and was super great about getting us plugged in to get our AC going right as soon as we got there. The site was beautiful: a well-maintained area, few bugs, and easy access to the outhouse. We're definitely the kind of campers who really only need a good electric plug-in and not much else, but Butch was a fantastic host, and we would love to come back later this fall when the leaves are changing. In case people are wondering, this place is just a few minutes' drive to Bloomington and Oliver Winery, but feels serene and remote. Uber will come to the area if you're planning on trying out the Bloomington bar scene. One of the best places I've ever stayed, and I would recommend it to anybody.

Quiet peaceful country location. Stayed in Class C 32' single slide with plenty of room for the rental car behind. Ann was helpful and a perfect host. Two miles off I-65 so access to everything is nearby. We visited family in South Indianapolis over Labor Day weekend. Will definitely be back for trips to Indy.

This was our third time staying at this site. The weather was beautiful. The hosts were as gracious as always. We always have an amazing time and we love introducing new friends to this hidden gem. It’s an easy drive from Louisville or Cincinnati. It has everything you need. The beach was a little muddy in spots, but Scott went down on Saturday and laid out cardboard so we could get to the rocky area of Beach without getting our shoes muddy. We enjoyed the afternoon with our feet in the water of the river. Everything was fabulous and we will come again.

Cristina is so friendly and welcoming and the property is absolutely beautiful. I got a tent site and wasn’t expecting there to be chairs, tables, flashlights and a tent already set up for us. Anything that we needed they were more than happy to help. I’ve never had a better experience at any other campground and the price is very affordable. This place really is a hidden gem. It's clean and quiet, and the Black Walnut Grove camping area is beautifully shady. The tree net is so cool! Also, the location is about 10-11 minutes from Marengo Cave, which was why I was there. Very convenient!
The host, Kerry, is very nice and helpful too.
Wi-Fi is quite spotty, but does work in some places. Outhouses are surprisingly nice for pit toilets with running sink water (which is awesome), though if you need to go during the night be aware you will have a LOT of insect and arachnid company very close to you 😆
Would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a BLAST at this campsite! Our host was extremely accommodating, friendly, and even warned us of bad weather approaching. My 11 yr old niece and nephew LOVED the rope and tire swings, the tree net, and exploring the property. 😍
The only thing we would recommend would be to update the hipcamp photos. Most of them were taken in 2020, so things weren’t quite the way we expected when we arrived… they’ve aged a bit. 🙃
But we still absolutely LOVED our stay and hope to come back in the future! 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
