Currently, the property has 3 full RV hook-up with water, 30-50 amp power and septic (Site #1 - 30 amp, Site #2 - 50 & 30 amp, Site #3 - 50 & 30 amp). There is also 1 campsite for either a vehicle or tent, with access to complete bathhouse and shower facilities. Cactus River Ranch is located 12 minutes outside of Salmon, Idaho along the Salmon River. The sites have river front views with your own private river access. Hiking and mountain biking options are available right out the back door up Henry's Creek trail. Amazing fly fishing or bird watching location! Williams Lake is located 6 miles up the road and offers a variety of recreation activities including fishing, swimming, paddle-boarding, canoeing, or sight seeing.

We also have overnight stalls available for horses.
Please make sure RV tanks are empty in order to hook up to septic. No RV dump station on site.
With the river location, we get very windy conditions along the river corridor. Awnings can easily become damaged during these conditions. Please take notice and consider putting awnings away so that they don't get damaged. Along the same lines, please don't have campfires if the winds are high.
Make sure your dogs are on a leash. We have mules on the property that DO NOT like dogs. This is for the safety of your dog.
No fireworks on the premises.
We do have a couple small trash cans that get dumped on Thursdays...that being said....we are NOT a dump. If trash cans are full or you have large items, please haul your trash to Lemhi County Landfill. They are open Monday-Friday: 7am-5:15pm and have dumpsters open on the weekend.

We have 125 acre farm ranch that is waterfront on brownlee reservoir. We have 5 different camping vacations options. 1 cabin to rent. 1 camp trailer on a nice waterfront lot as well as 3 camp sports 1 with water and power hook ups (site. 2 water wheel) and 2 dry camp spots. we have a spot to launch boats which is right between sight 3 and 4. Good fishing. Very little boat traffic. Very private. In the fall big horn sheep frequently rut on the property. We usually have fresh eggs on hand. Dry climate. Sage brush and juniper trees here. We have an easy to access spot to fill up water to your camp trailers or rvs. The water is from a spring and Water tastes really good.
We just added a 24ft pontoon boat for rent.
This area has a lot of history. Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe often stayed in this area and on the property. In fact this was where his tribe met to discuss and decide to try to go to escape to Canada. This is where that journey started. You can still find arrow heads on the shoreline every so often. I’m ruffly 15 miles north of Huntington oregon. 13 miles of which is dirt road. The property sits at the base of lookout mountain. Really good cell service here with Verizon Full bars. If you decide to come camp make sure your directions take you through Huntington. Google sometimes likes to try to get people to drive over the mountain. Or if your coming from the north it sometimes wants you to go through Richland and then on 34 miles of dirt road. Going Through Huntington onto snake river rd is the easy way to go.

This wasn't just a place to stay—it became one of our favorite family memories. We originally booked two nights, loved it so much that we extended our stay for two more, and still didn't want to leave.
The farm animals are incredibly sweet, the laser tag was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip, and there's so much to do—from pedal cars to a nearby nonprofit heritage farm and playground. The showers, outdoor restrooms, and entire property were spotless and thoughtfully cared for.
Most of all, Shayna and her family have created something truly special. You can feel the love they've poured into this place. If you're looking for a peaceful, unique getaway that you'll want to return to again and again, this is it. We absolutely will be back.

The ONLYYYY negative thing about our stay was having to leave so soon!! 5 nights wasn’t long enough!! It was AMAZING!!! We had a LOVELY experience at this private property campsite. What impressed me THE MOST was the clean, freshly groomed grounds. AND it has 2 full CLEAN bathrooms with showers and a mini kitchen and full size washer and dryer!! There are 3 full hook ups right on the river, 1 glamping tent and another tent or rv space that doesn’t have hookups. If you have to have WiFi, I know campsite 1 was excellent and maybe 2 and 3. I should have tested that! But I’m certain Jessica would let you know. It was quiet and peaceful and we actually added an extra day because we enjoyed it so much! We WILL come again and we WILL bring all our friends and family! We just loved it so much that it will become an annual stay.

I took my two boys here and we had an absolute blast! Such a cool utilization of farm land. They had bathrooms and a HOT shower on property that were built very well. The vintage trailers were all taken so we camped with our tent. Got a nice space with a wonderfully decorated seating area and campfire. Tons of farm animals and a couple litters of puppies roaming about which my boys found really fun. Endless activities for the kids! Would definitely recommend stopping by on your way through Idaho! Thank you to the hosts again and we will be back

We stayed at Ron’s site 1 for a last-minute overnight trip, and we only wish we could have stayed longer! It was already booked for the next day, otherwise we absolutely would have extended our stay.Ron’s directions were great, and we really appreciated the map he has in the photos showing exactly where our site was. Everything was incredibly well organized. Site 1 had the water and electric hookups we needed, and Ron even provided a 30-to-20 amp adapter which was a huge help. The kids had a blast on the swing, and waking up in the morning to watch the animals was the absolute best. We happened to be the only ones there that night, which was nice, though the campsites might feel a little close to one another if the place was fully booked. Overall, it's an awesome setup. We highly recommend Ron’s place and can’t wait to come back!
