It was overpriced for what you get. Owners were responsive ans kind, if you have someone coming have the electrical.cord ready, have a hose ready. There could be 3 or 4 chairs a fire pit. Maybe a little covered area. I would have been happy paying $35 for that last night, not $71. The goats were cute.

Catherine is a very Fine Host. And her place is accommodating and roomy. She also has a water hose that's long enough to reach your Trailer. Which was nice. Although not level, experienced RV'ers,(unlike me) can remedy that. It's close to the street, which doesn't bother me a lot.(LA Traffic) She has a Beautiful Place. And was very close to where I had something to do. Thank You.

We loved camping at the hobby farm! Site just as described, goats are so cute and friendly! Rex and Cate are great hosts (great communication and beautiful area) and we would definitely stay agin if we were in the area!

I enjoyed my visit with my Dad.
Their site is nice .really nice when hookups are available. Very near future I'm sure . The goats are cool had a bond with the dark one . Would stay again.

Nice spot and in a quiet area , the goats were so fun to watch every morning. Very nice privacy. Ground in a little slanted, would be nice to be closer to the flat gravel. And there is little pokey things that stick in your shoe. Overall, I would go back.

We didn't opt for any of the add-on, which might be why we didn't have contact from our hosts after texting our ETA, and texting again that we had arrived. We had received a photo with a red circle indicating where we should park, and did appreciate a spot off the road. It's a convenient location and clean.

Comfy with sounds of the country

Stayed an extra night because we enjoyed it so much. Lovely, kind, genuine hostess. Perfect, safe place as our home base for our trip. Quiet, comfy neighborhood with sounds of the country.
We will be back to stay again and next time will take an art class from Catherine!

Camp next to farm animals

Husband, kids, dog and I camped with our 27’ truck bed camper. There was plenty of room to park and safe place for kids to play. Easy to find, next to a quiet road, in an adorable little town. Nice flat spot to park right next to the animals so we got to wake up each morning to the sound of their sweet, happy farm animals. Kids loved waking up and petting the goats first thing in the morning. Thankful for Catherine allowing a last minute check in online for the first night. We ended up staying an extra night because we liked it so much. We purchased a dozen eggs and they were delicious. We got a tour of her art studio and hair salon, so beautiful and organized! Looked like a great place to have a birthday party or event. This time we didn’t have time to take an art class but next time we will make the time!

The site is next to a road but it wasn't too busy, especially at night. I had no problem sleeping. The goats were too adorable and talking with Cate was a pleasure.

We enjoyed our overnight with Cate and Rex. They welcomed us warmly, introduced us to the goats, and doted on our somewhat excited dog. The spot was just as described, and we slept well. Cate’s recommendations of the Wilson Springs nature habitat nearby and the Nampa Rec Center were both spot-on. And plus - fresh eggs! Note that the location is fairly residential on the edge of Nampa, which worked for us.

Cate and Rex’s is a must stay. It is unique, quaint, quiet, and they are incredible hosts. The goats were SO fun to be around and added an extra bonus. We were blown away by the Paintmania studio where we did a private painting session with Cate. I cannot stress enough how wonderful our stay was and we cannot wait to go back! Definitely stop in and paint while you’re there, it’s a unique takeaway memory that’s priceless.

The hosts were incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the goats were so stinking cute. Overall I felt safe and cozy, loved petting the goats and watching the baby goats jump around and play in the morning. Catherine also has a paint shop on the land and teaches classes, would be really fun to get a group together and do a paint/ camp night.
