We just got a camper and chose Patti and Doug’s site for our first trip. Best choice ever! The land was beautiful and private and exactly as pictured. Patti and Doug were the nicest hosts - bringing us cheese and crackers when we arrived and letting us borrow an electrical adapter. Our dog had the best time exploring the property with us. We will definitely be back!

Me and my fiance camped at the Mountain View and Hot-tub site on Clayton and Tiffany's land and we woke up to a winter wonderland! It was absolutely beautiful with stunning views. The bathhouse was very nice and a great addition! Both of them were very kind and helpful. The animals were adorable as well and one of the highlights of the entire trip!

The site was clean and spacious. With no leaves on the trees in the winter, we had a lovely view of the mountains and the sunset in the evening from the hot tub. The bath house was a short distance away and was heated, which was great after the hot tub. The stars at night were fantastic! The hosts were helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this spot!

We are frequent campers and this was our first Hipcamp booking. It has ruined us for all future campsites because it set the bar so high!
My wife and I spent Thanksgiving (3 nights) here. This was an amazing property. We stayed in the camping/sheltered site with a HOT TUB !!, amazing views, fire ring, power. Everything we needed for enjoyable cold weather camping. And that heated bath house!!! Unreal, the detail and amenities. Second to none. The on property hiking was so enjoyable. Take a walk to Day Dreamer’s rock. Such a magical experience. We are already trying to find time to bring back the rest of the family. I can not recommend this site enough. We are looking forward to future trips to Indian Creek.

The campsite was easy to find with GPS and there was lots of room at the site. It's a single camper site with a couple of acres to roam around on which our boy really enjoyed riding his bike. We had lots of room to play games and just relax. You are right off the road but there were only a few cars that passed by all weekend. We enjoyed the fact there was no cell signal, so we were able to totally disconnect from the world for a few days, that was really nice. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing campsite with no other campers around. We were able to read and work on lessons without any other distractions, it was really nice.
Patti and Doug were great host; they came up and introduced themselves when we arrived and let us know that if we needed anything they would be down at the house and for us to just come down. Again, if you're looking for a good spot to camp, go check them out, you won't be disappointed!

This spot was amazing. Definitely will be coming back. It’s incredibly well kept. Has a high hanging open garage, easy for trailer or roof top tents to be set up there. Bathrooms, showers, and the hot tub were great and well kept as well.

What a beautiful place! The location was easy to get to, and it was close to fun towns and hiking. We were 2 families. This was the first tent camping trip for one of the families with small kids and it was perfect! There was 1 other camping spot close by, but we still felt very private and there was plenty of places for the kids to run around. The bathrooms were so beautiful and clean, the hot tub was a bonus. We would definitely come back and camp again.

We loved our three nights camping at Cave Creek. The site was private, our hosts were magnanimous (Patti and Doug greeted us with cheese and crackers and guided us into the site and recommended sights to see while we were there). We took a beautiful hike along the Little Tennessee River (as recommended by our hosts) and enjoyed a visit to the town of Franklin. Delightful spot, delightful people. Couldn’t ask for more.

Patti and Doug met us upon arrival with cheese and crackers and advice on how to set up our 35’ Class A, which went smoothly. The roads getting there are pretty curvy with some switchback turns and steep hills. We decided to drive our towed vehicle separately and we are glad we did. I wouldn’t want to try towing it but it is probably doable.
Plenty of room for our dogs to run and the road near the site is very quiet, I think we saw 6 or 7 cars over the four days we were there and none were going fast. The creek is clear as drinking water and Doug’s pottery studio has many examples of his talented work.
Franklin and Bryson City are great towns and we wish we’d had more time to stop and enjoy. Beautiful countryside and a very quiet campsite.

This is a great place to stay near Athens . It's only 10mi from the stadium, travel time depends on traffic. It's just far enough away to be quite and restful but close enough to all that Athens has to offer. It's off the road and easy to get to. Wide hard pack gravel driveway. Lots are easy to get to. Ashley was very attentive and communicated well for our stay.

This was just what we needed. Such a lovely spot. Wish we could have spent more nights there. The hot tub was amazing, showers were super clean and our dogs loved the trails. everything was perfect. 10/10 we will be back to rent the hikers treehouse at some point.

I cannot recommend this enough! This was my first time using HipCamp, and it felt like such a luxurious car camping experience. The hosts had the hot tub ready to jump in upon our arrival, and the covered area was perfect to keep our belongings dry between re-loading, cooking, and eating.
The real bathrooms on site exceeded my expectations as well - I thoroughly imagined a regular campsite shower/toilet area, and they provided an actual bathhouse with real amenities and thoughtful accomodations (common toiletries and towels).
I'm already looking forward to returning. Thank you so much!

My wife, daughter, four dogs and I loved it! Beautiful natural landscape, extremely well groomed. The camp spot is nearly perfectly level and they kept it mowed nice and short like a green carpet. Just down the path it opens up into another low mowed area great for tossing frisbees for our retrievers. It was also a nice area to let them chase the RC truck then splash in the crystal clear creek water afterwards. Patti met at the entrance to welcome us and give me a quick overview of the area. We chose to pull in and turn around on their property and I’m glad we did because the road to their property doesn’t allow for many turn around spots. There was plenty of room on their property to turn around if the ground is dry like it was for us. Very quiet spot, low traffic area, our dogs listen quite well for a wild bunch but I felt no need to leash them the entire time we were there. The only think I would like to share with people that might have a long camper like we do, the septic hookup was a stretch from the power pole, a short ride into the town of Franklin, I picked up an additional hose and we were in business. There is no signal in their area, at all. Our phones are with T-mobile and we have Mobile internet trough Verizon in the Camper, nothing would connect, so we enjoyed a low tech weekend. Over all we loved it, Patti’s husband caught us as we were packing up and gave us a bag of Mandarins as a parting gift, they were gone before we hit Asheville!

I love the view and the big open area for our dog to run around. We were able to set up our little disc golf The hot tub is another bonus to the already nice setup. The bath house is super cute and clean. I love everything about this little sight. I want camping and being outdoors but love having the electricity, water and convenience of a bathhouse. It’s like the perfect mix! We will continue booking this site.
