The view was incredible and the hot tub is a nice addition to an already wonderful site. It turned out to be more convenient than I expected going back and forth to Cashiers for a family gathering I was attending and there is good hiking nearby.

This is certainly one of the best Hipcamps that we've ever stayed. The views are nothing shy of spectacular and the site itself is a 10+. I don't think you'll find another location as private as this one. The fact that you have full hook-ups in a mountain location like this is unbelievable, the hot tub and outdoor shower simply put the entire place over the top. Privacy is at a new level here but it's still an easy drive into Cashiers which is a great little mountain town. The road leading to the site is no joke and exactly like he describes so don't think that you'll be able to pull your 30' camper up there, you'll never make it around the switch back turns. I almost don't want to share just how amazing this site is but I just can't do that. It's not cheap, but it's 100% worth every penny. We look forward to staying again.

This is a true gem of a campsite. It is well off the beaten path and is an adventure to get to. The unobstructed views of whiteside mountain are gorgeous and the hot tub is the perfect thing after a day of adventures that are all close by. You do need 4x4 to get there and it does take 30 minutes to get to nearby Cashiers, but if you are looking to find a remote getaway all to yourself, then this is the spot.

It’s hard to understate how idyllic this site is. The host has made a very accommodating space that really makes you feel like you’re lucky to have found it. The view is perfect, as was everything else.
A note about the driveway in. As everyone else has stated in the reviews, 4x4 is not optional, especially if you’re pulling a trailer.
There’s two switchbacks that if you’re not careful you could get in a sticky situation. I drive a f350 with a crew cab and 8ft bed and haul a 15ft trailer (21ft actual with tongue) I don’t know how anything any longer would make it so heed the warnings.

This campsite is amazing! The views, the privacy, the hot tub were perfect! The driveway up to it is a little intimidating but my husband made it fine with a 1500 truck and our 17’ R Pod. Just like the listing says, 4wd is a must, but so worth it when you make it to the top! Such a nice place that Lee is sharing with others!

We've been in a hundred hot tubs and this is the best model so far. This past trip temps were in the teens and the heat kept up impeccably. The best part is that it heats silently. This is important if you prefer listening to nature rather than the hum of a hot tub pump. Also very clean and well maintained.
You can park your trailer parallel to and close to the firepit setup and hot tub and get level using 6" ramps under each tire on the low side. But we found we prefer to be parallel to the woods as shown in these pictures. It provides a more panoramic 280° view from the hot tub. Setting up this way requires 6" ramps under each tire and the tongue dropped almost to the ground. It was worth it to us.

This was absolutely perfect for us, but may have TOO MUCH privacy for some folks. You are truly alone here. Incredible hardwood property. Beautiful hikes, fishing, and drives in the area.
We made it up - no problem - with a 21' camper (25' true length) and a crew cab 2500, but this is about max length (2-3 steep, narrow gravel switchbacks -- 4x4 mandatory). Bring extra leveling blocks and 30' of sewer hose.
For the right people with the right rig, this spot simply can't be beat. Thank you for sharing!

My wife and I stayed at Lees site for 4 nights. We just left today and I have to say we did not want to leave. We are avid campers and have stay a lot of places up down the eastern US. This site by far takes our top stay. The availability of well water, power hooks up, and firewood just helped us to tent camp for 4 nights. But how could we not bring up the view? The view of the white rock mountains was so beautiful. It almost makes the site not feel real. It feels like a hallmark movie. The fact that Lee chose to add a hot tub just adds to the site. My wife and I enjoyed our coffee every morning in the hot tub. And if you want seclusion this is it. The drive up to the site from the gate feels like 2-3 miles of driving and you don’t hear a car or a person the whole time you’re there. So 5 stars. Lee does a great job. Clean site and very communicative also. We don’t have a bad thing to say and we will be back. If you’re reading this right now. Stop reading. Go book the site. Oh and make sure you stay 3 nights and have 2 full days there. 1 day there wouldn’t be enough. Trust me.

Beautiful spot surrounded by wildlife and mountain scenery. The campsite is perfectly situated on a comfortable clearing. The host was incredibly helpful with any and all questions and I am thoroughly pleased with our stay. The best Hipcamp site I’ve experienced so far. Highly recommended if you really want to get away and enjoy the best North Carolina has to offer.

Awesome place and view, no neighbors in sight or earshot. Super private place where you can really feel alone and away from it all. The drive is pretty steep and somewhat tight in a spot or two in the dark, but we had no issues, just put it in 4wd at the bottom and eased up to the top.

Four wheel drive must have! Once you conquer the drive in, you have made it to a pure private slice of what the wilderness area is all about, only with very bougie accommodations. Our stay was a peak leaf change and wow what a spectacular show with a phenomenal view that is unbelievable. Already booked next year's trip.

Absolutely beautiful site! Private, picturesque and so peaceful! Lee was very responsive and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this campsite, it is amazing! A4x4 would be helpful, but we were able to make our way up the driveway in a sprinter van with no issues. Highly recommend!

I am sure there are some spectacular camp sites on the west coast, but I doubt you will find anything better east of the Mississippi. Amazing view of Table Rock, hot tub, outdoor shower, easy hookups, and no one else around for miles. This site is a unicorn. The only caveat is that it takes some effort to get to it. The road/driveway up to the top of the mountain is gravel, steep, and has a few tight switchbacks. I pulled a 25 ft Airstream to the top and it was very sketchy. We made it, but we have a strong maneuverable tow vehicle. I am so thankful that we got to the top. It was worth it.

This place was simply magical! My husband and I came for our first wedding anniversary and we are leaving with full hearts.
Amazing views, ample parking and the hot tub was divine! The drive was windy and the spot remote. We definitely got to test out some of our equipment with the storms that rolled through.

This hipcamp is one of the most magical we have been to. It is gorgeous and the photos don’t do it justice. I highly recommend this hipcamp and we will be back.
One note for anyone driving a camper - the driveway up has a lot of sharp turns and ruts along the edges as it climbs up the mountain, but it is fine as long as you take your time. I am glad we did it in daylight the first time, though.
