3. QUIET TIME. 10 PM - 8 AM
4. CHECK OUT PROCEDURES. Camp must be broken down by 11 AM on departure day. If you stay past time you could be charged for an additional day. Extension possible with pre-approval.
5. All Overnight Guests Must Pay
6. Trash must be taken to the Green Bins located at the lower corner of the upper field
7. No washing vehicles
8. PETS must be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pets and do NOT leave them in the campground unattended.
9. Please be respectful of other campers and the property. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate cancellation of your stay and you will be asked to leave the park.

- Bath House: The restored bathhouse is split into boys’ and girls’ sides. Each side has 2 private showers, 4 flushing toilets, sinks, hot water, and gas heat.
- Community Pavilion: The Pavilion is a large 40x30 ft. open sided structure overlooking the Nantahala River. It has an ample fireplace, running water sink, counter space, couches, and table with benches.
- Pack Room: Where the adventure begins! A cozy hub where all guests get local information, view maps, and grab some local seasonal groceries. Also available to all campers are washing sinks with hot water, toaster oven and microwave.
- Communication: Or rather, lack thereof! There's no cell service on the property so it's a great time to get away from it all. There is limited Wi-Fi available near the Pack Room and an emergency landline available.
- Charging: Traveling in an electric vehicle? Recharge for free at our dedicated EV 50amp outlet when you stay at any of our sites. First come, first served.

We recently discovered the joy of traveling the US in an Airstream. When we came home after 6000+ miles, because some of our favorite sites were non-traditional ones, we decided to add a site on our farm. Enjoy the dark skies and quietness of the country. We are 10 minutes from downtown Murphy. There is only a small area of gravel which is the actual site. Everything else to get here is paved.

We have chickens (currently no rooster), bees, vegetable gardens, and a small fruit orchard. Turkey Foot Trail is a 1/2 mile trail that takes you through the wooded area to the peak of the property.
The campground is only 15 minutes from Franklin, NC and 20 minutes from Clayton, GA with plenty of shopping/restaurants. Once you are at the campground you won't want to leave the beauty of the creek!
Strong Wifi is available at all sites. Network password will be provided before arrival.
Property History: Coweeta Creek Campground WAS a 20 site, thriving, family/church oriented campground from the 1970's that was later sold, then neglected. My family purchased in 2022 and opened a few camping sites for a more family friendly, intimate setting.

As you drive in, you will see a self-serve Farm Stand. We live on the property, and it is a working homestead. We have chickens (roosters crowing too, sometimes in early hours - sorry about that). We ask that you keep your dogs *at your camp site at all times* (we have had camper's dogs run through the field at us and scare us to pieces and we'd rather not experience that again! lol)
Enjoy the sounds of the creek and put your tent on level land. We have firepits at each camp site. Firewood is available for purchase, just send us a message. We can deliver to your campsite. We also have tables and chairs for rent. We have farm fresh eggs! They are unwashed so no refrigeration needed. Need something else? Let us know, we want you to have the best, memorable stay ever!

I arrived late in the afternoon & was immediately pleased that the property & campsite were exactly as I expected. Melissa came by & greeted me shortly after & asked if there was anything I needed. She is very warm & friendly & was easily available throughout my stay. The property is beautiful, very quiet & peaceful, private & very well equipped. The bathrooms & showers were very clean & Melissa has made them feel as much like home as possible. There is easy stair access to the creek from site 2 & a lovely grassy area to hang out. When I return I will try to & get site 1, only because it has a little more space & a little better view of the creek. That being said, site 2 is still wonderful. My dog & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!!! I highly recommend Coweeta Creek Campground & I look forward to returning in the spring! Thank you Melissa & Adam for sharing your wonderful place.

Site 22 was awesome. Right on the creek and mostly flat. Short walk to the bathhouse which did seem to be in need of a good cleaning nc and dusting. Motorcycle friendly as well as family friendly. They had ice and firewood for sale at the office. I never interacted with any staff. When we got there, we called the number on the door and she told us to head on to our site. Be aware that the road is very narrow and curvy.

We absolutely loved our time here. They have a great set up with the creek and all the lights, paths and gravel roads - our site had a fabulous view of the sky which we enjoyed while hanging out at the campfire. The entire camp is so well taken care of and Tja made us feel very comfortable, welcome and safe in the mountains. An overall happy weekend spent here that was too short and we wished we could have stayed longer! We are definitely going back, this will be our go-to for future Nantahala trips!

My wife and I had a great time in our 30 foot Class C in site 1 which was located right on the creek which was crystal clear. Saw 3 deer both days. It was very relaxing with no rd noise. There was a beautiful view looking south up into the mtns. The host Mellissa was great and offered us their local honey and fresh eggs from the chicken coop. It was fun cooling our feet in the creek and watching the stars at night. There were very few bugs and a few short hiking trails in close proximity. They also have a fishing pond. Would definitely stay there again.

This is currently my favorite campground in North Carolina. The location is free of traffic sounds, full of stars, and hosted by great folks. Not far from Highlands, Dillard, and Franklin do plenty of options for things to do. The creek in the summer is awesome where you may see rainbow trout, Great Blue Herons, river otters, and other fauna. The eggs, honey, and firewood are perks! Full connections and great WiFi?
