The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

There is also a common area, to eat and hang out. We will soon have a community fire pit for all to enjoy. BATHHOUSE- In the Homestead area we have a small rustic community bath house with a hot shower and a running toilet. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and fresh towels provided. The Primitive Orchard area has cold water faucets and compost toilet. Both bath houses are close to all overnight areas. CHECK IN/Check-out time may be flexible depending upon concurrent bookings! We ask that you clear your campsite by 11am, but you are welcome to spend the remainder of the day hanging out with the goats, riding or just relaxing. Check in time is 2pm or later. Unless you are a returning guest please arrive before 7pm. (ALL late arrivals must be approved ahead of time, unless emergency.) Late arrivals interfere with our chore routine and it’s hard to stop and show you around. Thank you. Feel free to message if you have questions! The herd looks forward to meeting you!! PARKING- Temporary UNLOADING/LOADING- Parking for one vehicle near site. Must park in nearby guest parking afterwards. It is for the safety of our animals. We have too many free roaming animals. Thank you for understanding. BUGS- Please be aware that beginning in mid-May for about six weeks is yellow fly season in north Florida! Mosquitos are around all the time but heavier near wet areas. Note: This is Florida and a rustic farmstay. There are bugs and spiders on the property. One may even end up in the domes or tents. Please understand this before complaining about bugs. I want to make sure everyone knows it happens! We love our domes and tents, but you should know this isn't an apartment in the city :)

Loved this spot! We pulled in MUCH later than expected. Silvio was very understanding when I texted our new ETA (which we also missed by hours), left the gate open for us. A welcome rest after a LONG & foggy drive. We woke to a beautiful camp, in a great, peaceful area. Had a nice talk with Silvio as we readied our departure where he "adjusted" our Google instuctions for a MUCH nicer road to our next stop. Definitely high on our list of repeat camps on our next trip through!

This working horse farm is such a breath of fresh air! There are so many horses there and they are so well cared for and loved! Brett stopped by as we first pulled in, gave us the overall gist of things and offered help if we needed it. We felt safe and had plenty of space to let our dogs run around. The people who board there as well as work there were so kind and welcoming that we felt like we were part of the community.We would definitely stay there again if we come back through there!

The farm is a beautiful property with sites that put you right in the middle of the activity. You can see the horses, lessons, and day to day farm activities. The sites have water and electric. Brett and Lindsay are very friendly and willing to talk about the amazing work they do. Would definitely stay there again.

We just spent a few nights at Dunigan’s Meadow, hosted by Judy and her son, Tom — two of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll meet. Their hospitality made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The property is absolutely beautiful — rolling pastureland with cows, sheep, and three adorable donkeys roaming freely. We loved that they welcomed all three of our dogs with open arms. Judy even let us drive into the pasture so the dogs could chase racquetballs while the cows watched. The cottage itself is small and simple, not luxury by any means — but it’s clean, cozy, and has so much heart. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the little touches — like the vase of fresh sunflowers from Judy’s garden — really made it feel special. This isn’t a polished, modern stay; it’s a real cottage on a working farm, and that’s exactly what we loved about it. We didn’t have to tiptoe around fancy furniture or worry about the dogs. Every morning we stepped outside into misty fields and watched the fog roll over the pasture. There’s even a natural sinkhole filled with water that adds to the peaceful scenery. Dunagun’s Meadow is one of those rare places that resets your spirit — simple, authentic, and deeply grounding. If you love nature, animals, and genuine people, this place will feed your soul.

We had a great time at the Goat house Farm. I have a Tacoma with a Roof top tent and it was the perfect spot for that. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. All the animals were sweet and well behaved. We will definitely be back with some friends next time!

What a beautiful, peaceful welcoming place & Host. We were greated by Sasha, Max a little princess. William came out and chatted with us and showed us all around his beautiful property. Full hookups, a beautiful Bathroom & Shower and washer and dryer area along with table. We had a nice picnic table and a big fire ring which we did use. William has beautiful fruit trees and a garden with chickens.. so cute. The fruit was delicious. We enjoyed cheese & crackers and drinks with William around the campfire and wonderful conversation. Very quiet and the pine trees were so pretty. We wish we could have stayed longer and in the future we will. This was one of our favorite places to stay. A must visit place. :)
