The Campground is fenced and gated and we are pet friendly. There is a laundry facility on site for the guests. There is a fire pit if you want to relax. Inshore and offshore fishing is year-round. Scallop season is June 15 to Labor Day. More than 20 springs are located within 45 minutes of Steinhatchee. We encourage guests to use the outdoor seating areas for the ultimate relaxation experience and to find your favorite spot! Bar-B-Q with our easy-to-use propane grill (utensils and grill pans provided). Our fish station makes cleaning your catch a breeze! Also available a full-size fridge located on the screened porch in addition to the mini fridge in the cottage. Guest access Large open deck with ladder access to the floating dock which is perfect for mooring your boat or launching kayaks. Kayaks are available for guest use. Provided are (2) single person (1) fishing single person and (1) two-person tandem kayaks with life vest. We offer a complimentary shuttle service for the 5-mile downstream Aucilla River to the Gulf of Mexico trip. This can be scheduled after your check-in. Use of the kayaks are at your "own risk" with no host liability. We encourage guest to enjoy the common areas porches at back of main house. Camp chairs are provided and can be used at the fire pit and along the riverbank. A public boat ramp is located within 300 yards north of the property and we have ample storage for you boat trailer during your stay. Other things to note: House rules for children staying at the cottage. We gladly accept children with the understanding that all children thirteen and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times outside the cottage due to its proximity over the river and being in a very natural wildlife environment. This is a strict requirement that will be compulsory. This is for the safety of your children while staying at the River Rise Cottage. We are pet friendly but do require that your pets are not left alone in the cottage. We have different size crates available, and these are provided at no extra charge in the event that you should leave the cottage and choose not to take your fur baby with you. Kokomo Farms is such a refreshing and magical escape from reality! 🌿✨ There’s so much to do and explore, and getting up close with the animals and feeding them treats is such a sweet experience. The greenhouse is beautiful, with so many plants for sale! The gentleman who welcomes you is incredibly sweet and makes you feel right at home. Perfect private spot. So quiet, and beautiful. We saw so many different animals, and the most lubbers we've ever seen in 1 spot, so neat. AC is super cold for amazing sleep after a hot summer day exploring. Bathhouse is a great addition. Looking forward to a trip in the fall! Alligator warning sign helps a lot! 🤣

Cute and quiet little fish camp. I had to be in Tallahassee for a night Saturday and was looking for something inexpensive and off the beaten path. My family and I absolutely loved staying at Kelli's place again! We always have so much fun hanging down on the dock by the river. Whether we are fishing or on our tubes it is so relaxing no matter what you are doing! Her house has absolutely everything you need inside and outside. We definitely always enjoy the campfire downstairs. Of course she has all the stuff you need for grilling out etc.... This was the second time that my family and I have been out to her place and we will definitely be back again! We highly recommend taking a vacation at Kelli's place Running River Springs!!

This camper is in the middle of nowhere, which is clear to everyone. It offers peaceful, refreshing and breathtaking experiences of the Steinhatchee River and surrounding springs. My favorite visit was Troy Springs. It was my first time and I recommend it to anyone in doubt like I was.

This was such a nice secluded place to stay overnight on a longer trip- Kids had so much fun just walking around catching lizards and wildlife and learning right outside the door! Shower, ac, WiFi, parking, fridge and all was perfectly good and useful Would definitely recommend this I would download the surrounding area on maps so you can navigate without connection to WiFi, it is very secluded! Also recommend getting food from outside the city because it’s very sparse, stock up on gas too!
