You can relax in a hammock between the pines next to the lake. There is also a net to play badminton or volleyball with your family and friends. After a fun day exploring nature and enjoying the country life, our farm home provides plenty of space to relax with a warm cup of coffee, hot cocoa or a cold-tall glass of sweet tea.  Pick up delicious local steaks and grill them on the indoor or outdoor grills.  Have a grand picnic at our Oversized Outdoor Pavilion.  Enjoy your evenings next to the fire pit, make some delicious s'mores, play horseshoes, or challenge each other to a game of corn hole.  Small Dogs under 30 pounds are welcome here for an additional fee, but please keep them leashed at all times. (No more than 1 pet and rates apply) Please be aware that there will be other guests and staff on the property during your stay. There may be events being hosted on the property, such as small weddings, picnics, family or engagement photography. We also welcome and entertain bird/botany/agricultural or wildlife enthusiast as well. By booking this property you agree that if anything happens to your pet or horse we are not responsible.  The lake is not for diving or swimming. It is approximately 20 feet deep. Child Supervision is required. You can fish as close to the water as you are comfortable with, so bring your fishing gear and bait. The area leading to the water can be marshy depending on the recent amounts of rainfall. We do recommend wearing snake boots in this area. Please feel free to enjoy the beautiful nature walks. Also, you will find many areas along the paths that are perfect for a spontaneous picnic and fun photos. Guests are responsible for any damages to the home, bridge or pavilion. Early Check-In and Late Check-Out Options Are Available  Red Door Cottage Farmhouse is the perfect getaway for nature lovers and for those who just want to kick back-unplug and have an awesome time in the great outdoors. So, put a little dirt on your boots, breathe in the clean crisp air and enjoy country living among the pines and pastures. It is an amazing experience that is unparalleled. IN ADDITION: You can request to have an event on the property; such as at the pavilion or another site which can exclusively be reserved for specific dates during your stay. Please note that there is a fee for each guest that will be attending your event. This fee covers the impact that your event and guests will have on the property and the cost for cleaning/parking arrangements/trash-waste management/etc. This fee is dependent on the number of guest above the 10 that are allowed during your stay and takes into account additional fees and taxes. Our home is in a very unique location. It is close to the downtown and a couple blocks away from the lake, but it still feels like it is in the woods. We have a Preserve just south of us, and are at the end of two streets. We have almost 50 trees on our property, most being southern pines. There is easy access to many local amenities and shopping. Choose our property for a local stay, it isn't a traditional "camping" experience even with the secluded nature of it.

Totally rustic, yet with all the amenities - fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, disposal, washer and dryer, TV and home theater in living room and bedroom, ceiling fans, screened porch. Only 50 miles from Orlando, and 40 miles from Daytona Beach. Use it as your base to explore all that Central Florida has to offer, or come and recharge your batteries in the serene wilderness.

We had such a lovely time camping with friends at the Blueberry Farm! Cassandra is such a wonderful, thoughtful and considerate host. The sites are all lovely - clean, comfortable, and well equipped with so many special touches. We had a great time exploring the sites in Forest and hanging at the site playing games and enjoying the fire. This was my 3rd time staying at the Blueberry Farm and I can't wait to visit again.

The Blueberry Farm was everything I had hoped for and more. The camper I stayed in (The Gunnisack) was the perfect combination of well-appointed, cozy, and rustic, with all the amenities to make for a comfortable experience. An excellent mattress, an AC, all necessary cooking implements, firewood, a fire bowl, tiki torches... Cassandra truly thought of everything. The Gunnisack is tucked away in a little wooded bower, so it's perfect for anyone in search of peace and quiet. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a rustic, homey getaway that's close to all the amazing nature that Central Florida has to offer (the manatees, gators, monkeys, and incredible birds of Ocala National Forest are just a short drive away).

Had an amazing stay at Hookie’s Hideaway Forest Camp! Cassandra was a fantastic host—super friendly and welcoming. The outdoor shower with hot water was a great touch, and the campsite itself was peaceful and well-maintained. It’s a fantastic spot to visit with kids, and we loved getting fresh eggs from the farm’s chickens. Beautiful, relaxing vibes all around, and the location is perfect—close to the springs. Highly recommend!

Lakeside spots are great. Beautiful views of the water and spectacular sunsets. The host was fantastic. It was quiet barring just a bit of local traffic on the road. The bathhouse is functional but a little rough (old fish camp facilities).

We had an amazing time staying at little lulu! Cassandra was very attentive and greeted us upon arrival. We felt right at home. The RV was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was spacious enough for us and had all the amenities we needed. Little lulu is perfectly tucked away in the woods and we had enough privacy from the other campers but close enough to the outhouse. I would highly recommend staying here and if I’m ever in the area again I would happily stay here again.

Loved this Hipcamp! Quiet and relaxing site right on Lake Rousseau. Hosts were accommodating and helpful! Great spot very close to crystal river manatee tours and rainbow springs for swimming! Bathrooms are good and stocked with toilet paper, the shower even has hot water! Looking forward to staying again soon!

We are surrounded by forested camping areas and close enough to drive into town to pick up groceries or get a meal. We have a "you pick them" blueberry farm when in season. We are pet friendly! If you have a pet please add the pet Extra at checkout so you will be charged a $20 pet fee ($10 for the trailers). We are close to hiking, horse trails, lakes and springs. Bocce Ball and Croquet is available to play here anytime! We are only a short distance away from amazing horse riding trails and Florida's most popular natural springs.
