Weekend Trip to Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

We had such a lovely time camping with friends at the Blueberry Farm! Cassandra is such a wonderful, thoughtful and considerate host. The sites are all lovely - clean, comfortable, and well equipped with so many special touches. We had a great time exploring the sites in Forest and hanging at the site playing games and enjoying the fire. This was my 3rd time staying at the Blueberry Farm and I can't wait to visit again.

4 nights at Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

The Blueberry Farm was everything I had hoped for and more. The camper I stayed in (The Gunnisack) was the perfect combination of well-appointed, cozy, and rustic, with all the amenities to make for a comfortable experience. An excellent mattress, an AC, all necessary cooking implements, firewood, a fire bowl, tiki torches... Cassandra truly thought of everything. The Gunnisack is tucked away in a little wooded bower, so it's perfect for anyone in search of peace and quiet. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a rustic, homey getaway that's close to all the amazing nature that Central Florida has to offer (the manatees, gators, monkeys, and incredible birds of Ocala National Forest are just a short drive away).

Weekend Trip to Crystal River Pirate's Den

Loved the pirates den super cozy and private! Glancing at its finest. Enjoyed smores around the camp fire and played board games when it rained!

Had an amazing stay at Hookie’s Hideaway Forest Camp! Cassandra was a fantastic host—super friendly and welcoming. The outdoor shower with hot water was a great touch, and the campsite itself was peaceful and well-maintained. It’s a fantastic spot to visit with kids, and we loved getting fresh eggs from the farm’s chickens. Beautiful, relaxing vibes all around, and the location is perfect—close to the springs. Highly recommend!

These guys are excellent hosts! Everyone was friendly and laid-back, as well as super accommodating. The pig was super sweet, Thomas the turkey kept us great conversational company, and the goats were adorable.

We loved his rustic trailer… Arcadio was amazing , very accommodating and helpful! He helped source wood for us even though there was plenty of dead wood to cut for yourself. And we enjoyed a movie night followed by s'more's that he sourced for us as well! We’ll be back!

We loved our stay! It was an adorable cozy little cabin with the benefits of camping--dinner over a fire, enjoying the outdoors, and an outdoor shower (so cool and enjoyable--even when it got cold at night!). We will definitely be back here. Perfect for a short getaway weekend and very easy to take kids with you without the stress of cramming into a tent and/or getting bad sleep on the ground. We brought out 5 month old and had plenty of room for her portacrib ! Very simple and fun!

We truly had the best time camping here, Arcadio was so nice and helpful especially when we got our car stuck 😭 the stars are beautiful and its very private, i especially loved the animals. 10/10 would recommend

Arcadio is an amazing host! He ensured everything in our camping trip was amazing and even told us the story’s of all the rescues on the land! We loved seeing Wilber the pig and Thomas the turkey! I would recommend this place to any campers!

my family & i have been tent camping, traveling all through the state of florida w rainbow springs state park being last on our list. we came across arcadio & his property & there was a camper to rent too!? we thought PERFECT - it's just a 15 minute drive to the swimming/kayaking area! we had add ons such as eggs, firewood & a movie night. wood was there upon arrival, he walked the eggs over when we got there & the movie night was a hit w the kiddos! we were traveling w a 120lb doggy & him being off leash was an option. arcadio is such a kind, laid back dude that strives to make your stay as comfortable as possible! anytime we had an issue he was on site within a couple of minutes ready to problem solve. our site was right across from the playground, so the kids were free to come & go from there. everyday they looked forward to taking our fruit scraps to wilbur! (the piggy) beautiful sunrises & sunsets, handy outdoor shower, fire ring was perfect for our cooking needs too. thank you for having us; we hope to be back some day 10/10 recommend :)

2 nights at Serene Forested Blueberry Farm

We had an amazing time staying at little lulu! Cassandra was very attentive and greeted us upon arrival. We felt right at home. The RV was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was spacious enough for us and had all the amenities we needed. Little lulu is perfectly tucked away in the woods and we had enough privacy from the other campers but close enough to the outhouse. I would highly recommend staying here and if I’m ever in the area again I would happily stay here again.

Super friendly! Worked with me in a time crunch and went so smoothly! Great place to hangout and explore the beautiful nature in Central Florida. Added bonus woke up and saw the sweetest goat just wondering around. Highly recommended! Great Host! Property and ViBe!

Outstanding experience! We ended our two week FL road trip here and it was exactly what we needed. From the beautiful stars in the night sky to the sweetest cat - we had such a cozy, restorative time. Cassandra and Walt were super communicative, helpful, and so welcoming. Located on 5 acres in the Ocala National Forest, Hookie's Hideaway is the perfect place to stay for easy access to all of nature's bounty and activities. This property is easily accessible, serene and peaceful. Campsites are in a beautiful grove of pine and sycamore trees. We are surrounded by forested camping areas and close enough to drive into town to pick up groceries or get a meal. We have a "you pick them" blueberry farm when in season. We are pet friendly! If you have a pet please add the pet Extra at checkout so you will be charged a $20 pet fee ($10 for the trailers). We are close to hiking, horse trails, lakes and springs. Bocce Ball and Croquet is available to play here anytime! We are only a short distance away from amazing horse riding trails and Florida's most popular natural springs. We live on the property and are available during normal business hours. We are free to ask questions and give suggestions for surrounding activities and dining options. We will interact as little or as much as you need. Birds singing in the morning and crickets at night ensure a restful getaway here.
