This is an ideal, secure "home base" for hikers and bikers heading out on day trips and excursions.. In any direction are Southwest Florida’s premier nature preserves, estuaries, sanctuaries, state and national parks. Delnor-Wiggins Pass and boat ramp access to the open Gulf are 14 miles away. Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, the CREW Wildlife and Environmental Area, Everglades National Park, Lover's Key, 10,000 Islands and the Florida Panther Wildlife Management Area are all just minutes away.
The recently finished Corkscrew Island Regional Park and Aquatics Center offers swimming, tennis, racquetball and pickleball courts.
This is a "dark" location, which is excellent for stargazing.
Note: We are located within the Collier County "mosquito control district". This is a huge plus+ in the summer months.

Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV.
Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds.
The property is a designated farm, and we do have chickens.
Day time check-in is 100% recommended.

Loved staying here in our RV. Short walk to bathroom when we wanted to go there, pool and other amenities are all easy walk, as well. It is under a big oak tree so shady parts of the day. Fun resort in good location, it was just 10 miles west to the beach and St Armand’s circle for dinner/ice cream/shopping. We enjoyed beaches on Anna Marie Island, Lido Key, Longboat key, the Ringling Museums, and Myakka State Park. The concrete pull-thru site is level, all hook-ups worked well. Great place for couples or families.

Brittany's place was beautiful and the perfect place for me to stay in my camper while in Fort Myers. It is conveniently located within a few minutes of I-75, but far enough from the to not be disturbed by highway noise. I love that North Fort Myers still has so much natural beauty to it. I had an easy drive into Fort Myers but enjoyed being able to camp in a beautiful, quiet place.

What a great spot! I really enjoy Hipcamping vs larger campgrounds. This host and land is one reason why.
The property is welcoming and not far off the highway. (A bit of highway hum in the distance, but not a deal breaker.) The showers are outside and cold water. They are really meant for rinsing off after a sauna, and yes, there really is a sauna and cold plunge. The restroom is enclosed with ample space and is very clean.
I pitched a small tent on grass next to the gravel site with no issue. And my small dog was welcome to roam off leash.
Brittany was quick to respond to messages and was very welcoming although she was not present during my stay.
I’m definitely returning when back in the area❣️

Serenity Star did not disappoint and host Britney couldn’t have been more welcoming. Our stay of 6 nights was just what we needed. We were weary travelers escaping the cold weather up north and Serenity Star was our safe haven. I highly recommend booking into this place. I will not hesitate to return in the future. My daughters and I stayed at Brittany's spot for the three day weekend and loved it. The space was clean and Brittany was such an incredible hostess! The amenities are great. The bathroom was immaculate, the water was clean thanks to the ro filters, the property is well kept. There was even a barrel sauna, could plunge and washer and dryer, but didn't end up using any of them. We also got to feed the chickens, the cows and donkeys were off somewhere else but the chickens came running! I'd highly recommend this spot and if I plan to be in the Fy Myers area again I wouldn't hesitate to book this one again!

I had an amazing stay at this lovely campsite! The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made sure I had everything I needed. The lot was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe, which gave me great peace of mind during my visit.
One of my favorite parts of the stay was the beautiful bamboo tree on the property—it added such a peaceful and scenic touch to the surroundings. My two dogs absolutely loved the freedom of exploring the area and enjoyed all the nice walks we were able to take.
Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thanks again for providing such a great experience—I look forward to returning!

Where to go
The Florida Panhandle
The northwesternmost section of the Gulf Coast, this region offers a great mix of sandy beaches, marshes, and cultural attractions. Spots worth checking out include Big Lagoon State Park in Pensacola and Grayton Beach State Park in Santa Rosa, which offers easy access to the Gulf of Mexico and to a massive lake. Other popular spots in this region include St. Andrews State Park, where you can camp near the beach, and St. George Island, a sandy isle just off the coast of historic Carrabelle.
North Florida
Many of the less-developed beaches on the Gulf Coast can be found along its northern reaches, and much of this part of the state is preserved and protected by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's wildlife management area program. The area is also a great place to spot manatees, especially in spots such as the aptly named Manatee Springs State Park.
Central Florida
The central part of the Gulf Coast gets plenty of tourists, particularly in popular cities such as Tampa and Sarasota. Fort Myers is another hot spot, providing easy access to beautiful natural areas such as the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve and the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge.
South Florida and the Keys
You'll find some of the prettiest natural areas in the state at the southern end of Florida’s Gulf Coast, from the Cape Romano - Ten Thousand Islands Aquatic Preserve near Naples to the massive Everglades National Park. At the far end of the state, the Florida Keys feature a mix of developed areas and protected natural spots, including the Great Heron National Wildlife Reserve, where sea birds and turtles flock en masse, to the National Key Deer Refuge which, as the name suggests, protects endemic Key deer.
