The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

I'm always happy to show folks around and share the story. Please note: During the rainy season the grass may get a bit long at times. You can also expect to experience a wide variety of agricultural activities, outside of quiet hours of course. Born out of a dream that started 10 years ago when I acquired 40 acres of forgotten and unmanaged rural woods. Having dug right in with the help of the Florida Forestry Service, FWC, IFAS, NRCS and a very knowledgeable private forester; we developed a conservation management plan to restore it to its native state. The neighboring land became available and happily added another 40, I've learned so much on this amazing journey. 25K pines and a great deal of sweat equity later, it is time to share and encourage others to join in on the conservation efforts and make sure it's around for future generations.

Bike riding from the trail head at Keaton Beach boat ramp is a good way to get in some exercise and enjoy the natural Florida. Steinhatchee is 19 miles south of your location. Beach bums store is .5 miles from our site. Although hit by the hurricane last year, they are in the rebuild stage but still have all your essentials you may need, food truck, bait, fishing supplies, beer, ice, and many other essentials you may need to make your stay enjoyable. Learn more about this land: Pull up your RV, View stunning gulf sunsets, 1/2 mile to Keaton Beach boat ramp. General store 1/4 mile. 20 minutes to Steinhatchee. Keaton Beach pier is less than 1 mile. Golf cart friendly, great kayaking and paddling from your place and in the area. Scalloping is June through September. Airboat friendly. Visit the Steinhatchee Fiddler Crab Festival in February. We are a military veteran family who enjoys the land as a place for family and friends to explore, camp, and relax at the 250+ feet of the East Bay beach. We do not have WiFi, but we do have 5g service throughout the 11 acre property. Our camping sites DO NOT have electricity These are hike-in only campsites ☺️ Primitive camping is permitted at designated wooded high grounds in the middle of the property. It is a 5 and 10-minute rugged hike in to the middle ground respectively. The trail remains under development, so please bring close-toed shoes or boots for hiking throughout the property (depending on rainfall, there may be mud and water). We have two primitive campsites these campsites are first come first serve, they are not assigned when booking. Plesea see pictures. Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags. The tens are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent. Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience. You never know their might even be baby goat to hold and bottle feed. There are chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, quail and turkeys galore. We now have Peacocks!!! We also have 4 BIG PIG that love ear scratches. We offer farm tours!!! There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night... We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking! If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!! You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds! The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible. Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Private campsite in the middle of the city! My family and I were lucky enough to find a four acre urban forest less than two miles from FSU, the Florida Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. And just a mile from midtown! We are welcoming tent campers to come experience camping in an urban forest. The camping area has a hot water shower and sink, and the main site (#76), is fully outfitted with fire ring, tent pad, fresh water, a picnic table and plenty of hammock trees! The camp area has space for up to 6 tent campers and 2 cars. All sites share the shower and sink areas and a port-o-potty that is professionally cleaned weekly. Sprinter style vans (UPDATE) - We successfully had a Sprinter Van on the site and have now started accepting booking for that style van. Due to limitations on space and clearance, we can only allow vans with a max of around 10 1/2' tall and 23' long. This is equivalent to a Sprinter 170. We can not fit RVs or extended wide bodies conversions. Pets: Pets on leashes are allowed on the property. Guests with aggressive animals will be asked to leave.

The neighboring land became available and happily added another 40, I've learned so much on this amazing journey. 25K pines and a great deal of sweat equity later, it is time to share and encourage others to join in on the conservation efforts and make sure it's around for future generations.

Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run. Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Private campsite in the middle of the city! My family and I were lucky enough to find a four acre urban forest less than two miles from FSU, the Florida Capitol and downtown Tallahassee. And just a mile from midtown! We are welcoming tent campers to come experience camping in an urban forest. The camping area has a hot water shower and sink, and the main site (#76), is fully outfitted with fire ring, tent pad, fresh water, a picnic table and plenty of hammock trees! The camp area has space for up to 6 tent campers and 2 cars. All sites share the shower and sink areas and a port-o-potty that is professionally cleaned weekly. Sprinter style vans (UPDATE) - We successfully had a Sprinter Van on the site and have now started accepting booking for that style van. Due to limitations on space and clearance, we can only allow vans with a max of around 10 1/2' tall and 23' long. This is equivalent to a Sprinter 170. We can not fit RVs or extended wide bodies conversions. Pets: Pets on leashes are allowed on the property. Guests with aggressive animals will be asked to leave.

The hosts were super accepting and accommodating of my late arrival. It's only an hour away to put your toes in the sand! And that sparkling clean, hot shower is a huge bonus after a day at the beach. Even got a guided tour of the property. Peaceful & private ~ perfection! This is a wonderful, peaceful, hideaway, that is a bit off my normal route of travel, but totally worth the trip. This is a completely dark camping experience with plenty of room for larger rigs needing hookups, primitive camping, and boondocking. This camp is well run and clean. It will force you to slow down, take a walk, and appreciate a true escape. William is friendly and very interested in making sure things go well. I completely enjoyed hanging out with him. I particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet and utter silence at night.

William’s property is an outstanding Hipcamp experience. The land is beautiful and expansive—over 80 acres with well-maintained trails, food plots that attract wildlife, and a real sense of privacy and peace. The amenities truly set this place apart. The heated bathhouse was spotless and felt more like a lodge than a campground. We stayed in the duck tent, which came with a heater and was warm, cozy, and extremely well set up—easily a glamping-level experience. The property is very dog-friendly and thoughtfully maintained throughout. Everything reflects care, intention, and pride of ownership. We stayed for five nights and would absolutely return. Highly recommend.

We loved our camping experience! It was quiet, peaceful, and the view was spectacular. Having the use of Kayak’s was an added bonus. Our Mikcy (dog) loved hanging out in the deck with us. just a couple I'd things Id like to point out. Bring food and beverage. Restaurants and groceries are limited and about a half hour away. As others also mentioned an extended sewer hose would come in handy based upon the hookup location. But overall, we really enjoyed and plan to return!

This is a really unique spot that we absolutely loved. We tent camped here and really enjoyed being so close to the water. There’s plenty of shade and direct water access, though you do need to be careful—erosion makes getting down to the water (and back up) a bit tricky. We appreciated the bathrooms and the small pavilion; it had just the right amount of essentials and saved us from having to carry extra gear. Overall, a great spot if you enjoy a more natural, waterside camping experience.

I loved the rustic cottage, extremely serene. Enjoyed petting the goats and taking walks to the lake. Melissa (the host) was very nice and informative. always a text or call away. Will be coming back!

Beautiful spot on Gulf of America! Awesome sunsets and huge deck to enjoy them from! Secluded area with several other private lots on same street. Nearly 360° waterview, tons of birds, white pelicans(winter visitors), egrets, herons, ospreys and even a bald eagle!

Joseph is a very nice gentleman. We were made to feel welcome immediately. The area is a series of projects, but it is nice land, and Joseph has a great vision for the area. We had a good position for our rig with electricity and running water at our site. Just beware, the water comes from a well high in sulfur, so the smell might shock some people. It's perfectly okay. This is a camping area, not a start hotel. Some of the area needs improvement, but I think he's getting those things going. I'm sure it'll be even nicer once he can get some projects finished. Overall, good experience and a great host.
