Extra parking for one vehicle only. Basically this is a large parking area for the home. However the home has a separate drive and garage parking so we rent this space for RVs and Campers. For my cycling, the south spot gives me a good central spot to go for long ride via the Withlacoochee trail near by and many dedicated bike lanes. It is a good central location with stores and all sorts of other activities in the many cities around. The owner, George, is very responsive to any issues that can arise. If you are looking for a quiet place with being capable offer the same, it is a good place to be.

Great spot easy of access and place yourself on. The camp is a good, quiet, central location for the many cities with stores and all the many activities to do around. In my case for cycling, it offers the Withlacoochee trail and many other dedicated cycling lanes for added safety. George, the host, is very responsive and helping for any situations that can come up. Again, for people that like it quiet and can offer quietness to others, it is a good spot to be in.

For the price ($15 per night) it was great. It is next to a busy street but has a wood privacy fence on all sides except the entrance gate which you manually open and close. If you have a small dog, then you might want to take the extra boards lying next to the entrance to block the gap at the bottom of the entrance gate so your pooch doesn’t get out. There is electric, water and sewer but you will need 2 people for the sewer- one to hold the line to the drain and another to work the valves. There’s a wonderful swing and a fire pit to warm up to on those cooler nights. Be sure you have RV levelers as the ground isn’t level but most of it has asphalt under the sand so you don’t get stuck. It’s only about 20 minutes from Bucaneer Bay waterpark and the weeki watchi state park with the live mermaid show and river kayaking. And tons of places to eat at. The host, Amanda, is extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this location especially if you’re on a budget.

Nice place, not too secluded.But far away enough from light pollution to see a lot of stars, at least a lot more than my wife and I have ever seen. Stayed here during a full moon, it was so dark here but the moon itself lit everything up like it was daytime.

We stayed from mid April to end of May and absolutely loved our time here. We had it all to ourselves. You really can't beat the price for full hookups, privacy, and the location. We love kayaking and spent a lot of time at rainbow springs. We also took day trips to weeki wachee springs, silver springs (where we saw wild monkeys!), devil's den, homossassa, three sister springs, and clearwater/dunedin FL. George was quick to respond to any messages. The property is huge with beautiful trees, and we loved seeing tortoises! Starlink worked well here, even for video calls. Grocery stores and anything you need is nearby. We can't wait to come back!

We booked the RV spot at Manatee Landing Retreat for Mother’s Day weekend, and even though the weather was mostly rainy and cloudy, it didn’t rain on our parade! In fact, having the place mostly to ourselves made it feel like our own private oasis. The tiki hut was a total game-changer—giving us shelter when the rain did come through, and a cozy place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. When the sun peeked out, we made the most of it with kayaking, bouncing on the trampoline, and exploring the beautiful area with our dogs, who absolutely loved it. Even with the clouds, the peaceful vibe and thoughtful amenities made it a weekend to remember. We can’t wait to come back—hopefully with a little more sunshine next time

We really enjoyed our stay, The location is convenient to many interesting sites. We especially liked all the Springs. The property is large enough that you are not bothered by the neighbors. Full hookups mean you have all you need. The sites have concrete pads and loose rocks surrounding the pads, to help keep you out of the grass. sand and dirt.

Sunflower Farm is a delightful property nestled in a secluded private area surrounded by over 700 acres of un developed private land. Wildlife can be seen and heard on the Sunflower Farm to include longhorn cows, turkeys and many bird life and sounds with an occasional deer and peacock siting's . This farm is located in the bend of Florida on the Gulf where there are lots of activities to experience in the area to include; kayaking, biking, fishing, boating, manatee siting's & tours, state parks, natural springs and MUCH MUCH MORE! Along with many wonderful local restaurants with fantastic food and water views that include music and entertainment and beautiful memorable sunsets. And lets not forget Monkey Island on the River where you can dine or boat around the monkeys Island and watch them in their river habitat. Sunflower Farm is just 6.5 miles to Crystal River going North on Hwy 19 in Citrus County and just 6.5 miles going South where many of the activities are mentioned, to enjoy, along with boat ramp access in those areas to the Gulf. Also you are just a little over 1 hour from Tampa, Gainesville or Orlando Florida where you can experience a vast selection of adventures with just taking a day trip. Other springs in the area are Hunters Springs, Rogers Park and Three Sisters springs. Crystal River is a charming, historical town 25 minutes north. You’ll pass Homosassa and their State Park (the oldest Hippo Lu (65) lives here). At the waterfront restaurant ‘Crumps’ you can watch monkeys on an island! Dames Cave in Lecanto is about 17 minutes from here with multiple caves to explore. The famous Weeki Wachee Springs State park is a 15 minute drive south highway 19. Howard’s Flea Market is the largest in Citrus County, 10 minutes north from the camp site. ‚Adventure Flg X’ is a fun Zip Line park in Brooksville. Rainbow River Springs is an hour north from Twin Pines. The park has beautiful scenic trails and a water temperature of 72 degrees year round which invites you to explore the river in a tube or kayak. The Weeki Wachee preserve is another beautiful, close spot worth visiting. Disney World, Legoland and Universal Studios are within two hours. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish. Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature.
