We supply every Lucky's Market location with fresh turmeric and a host of stores with our blueberries. We also have an active u-pick program during the blueberry and peach harvests (late March to early June) that is available to Hip Campers. There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away.The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. Our property is located in Morriston, just off 41 in a quiet residential neighborhood with wide, well paved and maintained roads. Acreage is not fully fenced so drive up into the yard as you see fit while respecting these priceless old oaks. At this time we have potable water via a well system on site at 3 locations throughout the property but no electric or sewer is available yet. If you are planning to run a generator it must be turned off during quiet hours (11pm-7am) unless it is quiet enough not to disturb the neighbors. Dump stations can be found at the multiple truck stops off i75.

Set on over 60 acres along the Suwannee River, this historic property (formerly known as Suwannee River Cove) is under new ownership and being thoughtfully restored and reimagined as Oaken River. Towering oak trees — some hundreds of years old — provide shade, character, and a peaceful sense of place throughout the grounds.

With tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and fishing available within feet of the campsite, you can stay nearby or venture out to some of the best springs in the world.
Boaters – Private boat ramp is 200 yards up the road on the Santa Fe, public boat ramps within 10 miles on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers.
Tubers – Tube the private section of the crystal-clear Ichetucknee river accessible only by the homeowners via our 3 waterfront parks. Both get-out parks are within walking distance to the campsite for your convenience.
Paddlers – Paddle the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood, or if the time of year is right, venture up to the Ichetucknee State Park to paddle the head waters and north entrance. This is limited in season and numbers to keep the impact on the river to a minimum.
Swimmers – Swim the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood via our 9 waterfront parks (6 Santa Fe, 3 Ichetucknee) or venture to either entrance of the Ichetucknee River State Park just a few miles away.
Nature lovers – Explore the unspoiled conservation areas within the neighborhood that can be hiked and explored. Setup a hammock and sit by the river and watch all your worries wash away, you may get to see the occasional manatee.
Whatever your passion, this campsite accommodates it with electric (50/30/15), water, picnic table, concrete firepit, clothesline and plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood is golf-cart and UTV friendly and has lots of dirt roads to explore. The deer can be found quite easily every morning and evening while riding around and rarely run away from the vehicles.

There are multiple springs within 30 miles in various directions - some of them of First Magnitude volume. Ichetucknee Springs offers excellent river rafting. Ginnie Springs offers world class underwater cave diving -PADI license required. Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs consistently offer up close sightings of Manatees without the crowds of Crystal River. There is also a boat launch on the Suwannee River just minutes from the farm for boating, skiing and fishing. Bob's River Place is minutes away.The Gulf of Mexico is just 40 miles away. Acreage is not fully fenced so drive up into the yard as you see fit while respecting these priceless old oaks. At this time we have potable water via a well system on site at 3 locations throughout the property but no electric or sewer is available yet. If you are planning to run a generator it must be turned off during quiet hours (11pm-7am) unless it is quiet enough not to disturb the neighbors. Dump stations can be found at the multiple truck stops off i75.

Set on over 60 acres along the Suwannee River, this historic property (formerly known as Suwannee River Cove) is under new ownership and being thoughtfully restored and reimagined as Oaken River. The campsite was purpose-built for friends and family who come to visit this slice of paradise we call home. Ideally located in the heart of spring country in North Central Florida, we have over 18 major springs within a 50-mile radius of this location, which allows for all the outdoor exploration and watersports you desire. With tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and fishing available within feet of the campsite, you can stay nearby or venture out to some of the best springs in the world.
Boaters – Private boat ramp is 200 yards up the road on the Santa Fe, public boat ramps within 10 miles on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers.
Tubers – Tube the private section of the crystal-clear Ichetucknee river accessible only by the homeowners via our 3 waterfront parks. Both get-out parks are within walking distance to the campsite for your convenience.
Paddlers – Paddle the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood, or if the time of year is right, venture up to the Ichetucknee State Park to paddle the head waters and north entrance. This is limited in season and numbers to keep the impact on the river to a minimum.
Swimmers – Swim the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood via our 9 waterfront parks (6 Santa Fe, 3 Ichetucknee) or venture to either entrance of the Ichetucknee River State Park just a few miles away.
Nature lovers – Explore the unspoiled conservation areas within the neighborhood that can be hiked and explored. Setup a hammock and sit by the river and watch all your worries wash away, you may get to see the occasional manatee.
Whatever your passion, this campsite accommodates it with electric (50/30/15), water, picnic table, concrete firepit, clothesline and plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood is golf-cart and UTV friendly and has lots of dirt roads to explore. The deer can be found quite easily every morning and evening while riding around and rarely run away from the vehicles.

I really enjoyed my weekend stay in the sculpture garden with their newly built screened in gazebo. Complete with lights and a ceiling fan. As well as an outlet to charge my devices. The picnic table and accompanying light for after dark was a plus. Unfortunately we were under a burn ban at the time and I couldn’t enjoy a campfire in the cozy fire pit area. The lush carpet of grass was a nice touch and felt wonderful on my bare feet. Lynn and David were wonderful - helping me park and get level. They even provided the scraps of wood to achieve levelness. Located right next to the chicken enclosure was great. The rooster didn’t bother me a bit as I’m a sound sleeper but something to make note of if that bothers you. Overall my trip was wonderful and I can’t wait to come back for a longer visit. Their dog Winnie was sweet too.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Green Fairy. Detailed instructions and labels within the barn. This location is perfect for exploring Ichetucknee Springs. No more and mostly less than a 10 minute drive to both entrances with stores providing necessities within a 7 minute drive. The property is peaceful with dogwoods on property (beautiful). We were even granted the pleasure of the presence of a fawn and doe at the edge of the property on one occasion. The outdoor shower even provided us with locations to explore, for which we are greatful. We highly recommend this property if you are headed to Ichetucknee or hiking the close by preserves and trails!

We had a wonderful time camping for four nights. It was very private (just us), and our dog had a blast running free all over the property. The proximity to Ichetucknee (next door) and Ginnie Springs (an easy 30 minute drive) was fantastic. The campsite itself has all you need and more. Electric and water hookups, a hot outdoor shower, an outdoor sink for washing dishes, and a full toilet with a mirror and vanity. We'd definitely visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Bowman’s landing campsite 1! We came to visit nearby springs and it was a convenient location. My husband kept saying that the place felt magical. It felt quiet, remote, and woodsy. We loved walking over to the dock at sunset and in the morning. The hosts were friendly and helpful and gave us a tour upon arrival. The primitive site is a semi-far walk from the bathhouse (at least in the dark), so the hosts offer bikes to use if desired. We hope to return one day!

The night sky is fabulous and the surrounding area is very quiet. The two private baths with shower, sink and hot water were the cherry on top. Skip the campgrounds and stay here!

Of all the places I have stayed..... this one is my favorite!!! Super nice couple that owns the camp... and Nacho the dog!!! Attended to any need we had and very responsive to texts. What a magical place! We booked Campsite 2 for 2 nights and could jot have been happier! Nestled in a beautiful forest setting right next to the Sante Fe River, Bowman’s Landing is absolutely the way to go if you are looking for a safe, clean spot to enjoy all that nature has to offer! We also appreciated the retro bikes on property to explore the grounds and make a quick trip to the coffee station and fully stocked, clean restrooms. We enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to come back!

This place is awesome! We wanted to stay another night, but I had to work. Instead, we headed back to Bradenton and stopped in Cedar Key for a couple of hours.
During our weekend stay at Bowman’s, we rented kayaks and paddle boards with an outfitter called Rum 138 and it was such a beautiful & chill run.
Jesse, the host at Bowman’s was very accommodating and showed us around as soon as we arrived. It’s so beautiful, the kids enjoyed playing in the woods and you can ride bikes in the nature trail around there and just set them free. The sunset colors in the sky are amazing and you’re right along the Santa Fe.
We cooked deliciousness on the Blackstone we brought, but each Campsite has a little grill on the fire pit if you wanted to use that (which we will probably do next time.)
They have Community bikes to use and if you want to bring an old well working bike you don’t use anymore & want to donate to them, I’m sure they’d appreciate that!
We rented one of each of the cabins…, one with kitchen, one glamper, etc. I can’t wait to go back! Plenty of nature, chickens, etc. Jesse is very informative about the area and cool quirky things. Awesome times!! I do have lots of photos. I will add to this later.

Great location and set-up. I arrived after dark and Richard made sure i got to right location and was able to get set-up. Nice pavilion with picnic table. Firewood ready for me and I had a nice fire to end my day. Beautiful farm.....very cool to see it. Highly recommend!!
