Great communication with the host, Jay, who was off property at the time. He made sure that we had what we needed and answered any questions that I had. Hospitable. Also an AWESOME caretaker of the property, Liz. She showed us around and told us about the animals in the area. Jay and Liz made this trip so amazing. The site felt completely private. My son and I spent almost all of our time down at the outside yard area where there was cooking and device using and relaxing and napping for four days. I loved the hot tub. My son and I got to watch our first space coast launch from the backyard. (Thanks Liz! I wouldn't have known it without you!) My kiddo loved that! The outside cooking area was awesome and great accessibility being able to use my cooking stove and utensils and I have a two slice toaster and a single burner with pans. I was able to feed my son what I would normally feed him. And while there is no shower hookup the water hose was more than adequate for just about everything we needed and there is water in the sink down at the outdoor cooking area. And it tastes clean. It was quiet outside of random cars on the back road. Nights were very quiet. I wish I had taken pictures of the area but I totally forgot while enjoying the hot tub on site 24/7. The cabana is very comfortable for a nap by the way. There are so many chairs, lounging was easy. Loved the tornado fans that kept the outside cool and mosquitos out. It was perfect. We're coming for my birthday in a month!

We really enjoyed staying at Lee's hip camp. It is less than an hour drive into the Orlando theme parks. Being there feels like a little country oasis amongst The condo sprawl around Orlando. The neighbors have horses. A grocery store is a short drive away. Lee is a very nice man. He helped us back into the campsite and even offered to help us set up camp. Next time we want to do the Orlando theme parks this is where we will stay.

Awesome place. Lush, tropical, serene.... the vibes are super bright, warm, & calming. Hosts even offer privacy if that's what you're going for. The pup loved being able to free roam the property every day! ☀️🌿🪵

We came out for our 1 year anniversary and had a blast! Huge fish! A zip line. Nice screened in area with chairs and a porte potty. We went adventuring in the woods which we love to do! I loved staying at this beautiful property in a quiet corner of old Florida. The surroundings were lovely, and Jay had everything we needed - a level camp spot, water and electricity, and a hot tub! I loved watching all the fireflies at night. Don't miss out on driving through nearby Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and seeing all the birds.

Weekend Trip to Surfer Beach And Tree Sanctuary

1 night at Camp Wild Fern

Enchanting, quiet, we felt like we were the only ones on the property. The owners provided adapters if we would need them. Was a beautiful setting that provided the perfect respite from 1 month of traveling.

1 night at Patmos Island

Easy area to park the RV and extra vehicle. Very natural setting that really felt like Florida. Dogs were happy to be off leash. Owners were kind and friendly.

Weekend Trip to Camp Wild Fern

The campsite was large and mostly shaded. Lovely oaks, bamboo and ferns surrounded it. The toilet is simply a portapotty but the little shelter it’s in is clean and nice looking. It’s not a problem for rustic campers. The hose for water isn’t really far. We had a collapsible bucket, which was helpful. We also have a portable shower bag that we hung from a tree to use as a sink. We were on site 1 and there were two trees that were at a perfect distance for a hammock, we didn’t bring one but next time we will. Site 2 was at a comfortable distance but if someone wanted to camp with friends it would be a good site for two families. Ragan was quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything. Merritt Island wildlife preserve is about a 20 min. Drive and it’s beautiful. We highly recommend it. The Kennedy space center is close too.

4 nights at Lovely Acres Of East Orlando

Site was great. We would recommend and will probably return. Our son was in a competition at UCF and the location was great! Cristy was a fantastic host. Getting in and out of the gate was a little tight with our 34' travel trailer, but manageable. Google maps gave directions through Parry Lane, thankfully not when we had the trailer attached! Do NOT go Parry Lane. It's a one way road through a trailer park. Two other roads to get there are fine.

Weekend Trip to Sandy's Swamp land in Florida

We had a wonderful time camping in the woods. There were 4 of us, two of us have not slept in tents in decades. During our entire stay, we did not run into any other campers. In the morning we even used the canoe to see some of the birds and scenery in the area. Over all we had an even greater time than anticipated. One of the best features was how secluded the area felt.

The home is within walking distance to an outdoor waterfront restaurant that hosts, on occasion, live music and serves your basic grill style food which includes gator. In addition, the home is adjacent to a full service marina which is great for boating enthusiasts. Being adjacent to the marina renters who bring their own boat, with insurance, have the option to use the Sanford Boat Works facilities which includes their boat ramp, covered docking amenities, fuel dock, and their low key clubhouse that has a well maintained pool and gaming area. The use of the Sanford Boats Works facilities is an additional cost that is paid directly to the Marina. Information can be provided on request. Although the use of the marina is a boon there are public boat ramps not far from the home and more than adequate parking for more than one trailer on the property; therefore, everyone can enjoy the river, Lake Monroe, and even Lake Jessup. The Space Coast Beaches
