~ Electricity can be provided depending on how close you set up to the house. WiFi as well.
~ We do have a chicken coop so you can expect to hear them throughout the day.
~ We are on a dead end road in a rural residential area. Super quiet!
~ Pit potty in a super cute Outhouse.
~ If you stay during the month of March, you will adore our lightening bugs!
~ Tons of mature trees so bring your hammocks.
~ We are on site and available to you when needed. Forgot bug spray or need a band-aid? We got you! Need a board game, yard game or puzzle? We got those too!

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location.
But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future.
However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families.
As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch.
You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you!

Park your van/small RV or pitch your tent on our rural homestead conveniently located 1000 ft off of US Hwy 1. Nearest I-95 exit is 3 miles away. Watch rocket launches, visit nearby beaches, attend NASCAR races, see local communities, relax at Canaveral National Seashore, birdwatch at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, fish Mosquito Lagoon, or visit the amusement parks of Orlando, we are a safe and quiet location from which to stage your adventures. We have two campsites. Site 1 is a nice level, grassy campsite for tent or RV, complete with a fire ring, picnic table, and firewood. Site 2 is the Glamping Greenhouse! I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the lovely Forever Young Farm Camping hipcamp site. Night views of the sky were great. It was very spacious, nice, quiet, and located close to Black Water National Wildlife Refuge and the Orlando Wetlands Park which are well known birding and photography locations. The hostess Mariana was very helpful, friendly, and prompt with communications. I most definitely would stay again in the future if it’s available.

Out trip at Lee's couldn't have gone better. Lee was there when we arrived and assisted me in banking up. He gave us a quick run down of his property(utilities and trash) and then let us be. We had zero issues all week. Upon leaving, he checked in as I packed up and we made small talk for a bit. A great guy and great place. We recommend!

The roosters were loud and annoying very early but they apologized and are planning on getting rid of them and for us wasn't "horrible"...for one-night. They gave us an extra dozen eggs for the "trouble"...

This is, by far, the most amazing Hipcamp we have experienced to date! We stayed in a 40’ Class A motorhome and there was plenty of room for us and our dogs. The view is spectacular and the site was clean, comforting and relaxing. Laura is an amazing host and was very accommodating and understanding when we had issues with our motorhome and had to replace it with a rental while ours was being repaired. She even stored some of our food for us that wouldn’t fit in the rental fridge. The view of the lake was very nice and we even watched three rocket launches from the dock. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this site to anyone!

I found this site for its location to the North Apopka Lake loop trail. Its about 100 yards to the trailhead.
Great hosts. Sites were quiet and kept up nicely. They even had fresh eggs for sale.

The entire property was really amazing, there were lots of campers but it still felt very private overall. The outdoor shower was great and the bathroom was very spacious and well stocked. It was also close to grocery stores and close enough to the downtown area that driving to either was easy. I definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance.
