The best and closest restaurant and bar is the Roadhouse Bar and Grill which is a 1/2 mile away, you can enjoy good food without going all the way into town. They have the best Country fried chicken and steak on Friday and crab legs on Saturday! If you are down to earth and just want to have a good time you'll love this place!!
Dishwasher in the kitchen and we do have to pack out the trash so please use the dishwasher and leave the paper plates at home, less trash is better!

Dillie Docks is a 6-acre oasis located on a quiet cove on beautiful Lake Granby. Breathtakingly stunning views of the Indian Peaks on the Continental Divide from all sites. Our lake-side property is perfect for all year-round lake activities including SUPs, beaching your boat, family picnics, kayaking, fishing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and whatever else you can imagine. Site rentals include walk-in access to the lake. So bring your toys and smiles! 4 miles north is the quaint and historic town of Grand Lake, which hosts multiple shops, restaurants, and a variety of year-round special events. Just 5 miles away is the west entrance of majestic Rocky Mountain National Park. Several miles to the west is Idleglen parking and trailhead for miles of horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, OHV, and snowmobile fun. Just 10 miles south is Granby, and less than 30 miles to Winter Park, "Colorado's favorite"
We offer RV sights with full hook ups, some include power and water, and some are dry. There are 9 available lake front sites.

We booked through HipCamp last minute and I am glad they were still able to accommodate us. The drive to the ranch was just beautiful! You’ll pass by a couple of ski resorts and beautiful small towns that are worthy of visiting!
The ranch it self was surrounded by water, we booked Camp 24 and it was just perfect for me and my boyfriend and his Sprinter Van. It was also in front of the lake/river so that was a great plus!
We didn’t book any rooms so my 5 star rating is for the toilet that was well maintained and cleaned.
We arrived after 5pm so there was no one to check us in but we really appreciate the welcome map addressed to me that led us to our campsite. Another 5 star.
And lastly, the ranch is just perfect for first timers like us as it was very accessible. There’s a small town 25mins away that has a City Market and pretty much everything you’ll need. We bought 2 bags of wood but that was definitely not enough. Luckily there were a lot of old woods on the ground that we were able to use.
We also tried to fish but no luck on that. Overall, the experience was amazing and I can’t wait to go back with our friends there.

I drove out to Colorado all the way from Connecticut to go camping at Arapaho Valley Ranch. Everything about the experience was amazing. Very peaceful, beautiful views and a great staff. Will definitely be camping there again in the future.

Very cool spot. The drive in was beautiful. We went the first weekend of November and basically had the place to ourselves. The lodge with the pool table was a major plus as well. Would defiantly come back.

Awesome place at the end of a fairly rough dirt road. Original lodge with pool table. Dark sky, lots of stars. Definitely going back. Probably stay in in one of the tent “cabins” facing the pond with showers!

Well kept grounds. I'm pretty sure we were one of only a few staying on the property. Definitely the only ones staying in our campsite area. Keep in mind the bathhouses are only for those paying for the glamping or cabins.

Kim was EXCEPTIONALLY responsive. I requested a very last-minute reservation and I didn’t expect to hear back in the wee hours, but she got back to me right away. Her communications were clear, concise and friendly. (Note that I am NOT advocating late night requests if possible, now that it’s dawned on me that hosts may be disturbed by request notifications). Point is, Kim was VERY accommodating and I can’t recommend this site highly enough for that. As for the site itself, it was very clean and easily accessible. I didn’t quite grasp the layout from the listing, but the 2 sites are basically together, and are at the edge of their cabin property and close to the road in a mountain neighborhood with large lots and scattered homes. I don't mean any of that as a negative, just explaining the site. It was quiet and peaceful, especially as evening fell. What I liked a lot is you can back into site 1 in a way that you have a lovely private nook with a nice clean level spacious gravel site with a small picnic table surrounded by a grove of aspen trees. You can see houses nearby but they are not too close and the areas between are wooded. It rained and the aspen leaves began falling which is one of my favorite things :)
I will say for the sake of transparency that because we love privacy and seclusion in general we were grateful that no one was in site 2 nor the cabin due to proximity. It’s not the deep woods but better than crowded campgroundsin my book! RECOMMEND

Beautiful glamping tent. Large and a ton of space. There’s a small solar panel charging unit available and an overhead light. Spacious covered porch area for cooking in any weather. Really enjoyed our stay. Glamping tents were close together so noisy at times but not too distracting. More of a communal environment.

Kim’s place is magical. It’s quiet & beautiful & the neighbors are very nice. I walked my dogs several times a day & everyone was very friendly & waved hello. Snake Lake (private) is a close walk away & it is beautiful. Dowdy Lake is a 4-minute drive. Plus, the stargazing is wonderful at this site too. Could see the Milky Way one night! Spot 1 is level & tucked amongst the aspen trees. I hope to camp here again one day. Loved our visit.

From the moment we arrived, it was love at first sight. The drive in was an adventure all its own, winding through breathtaking scenery with panoramic views of the Horseshoe Reservoir below. And once we pulled up, the real magic began.
Cody’s RV was everything I had envisioned—rustic charm meets thoughtful comfort. What truly surprised me, though, was the impeccable attention to detail and the well-appointed amenities that made the camping space feel like a retreat. Perched above a million-dollar view, the RV came stocked with fantastic extras: kayaks, paddleboards, and a cozy firepit that lit up our evenings under the stars.
This was my first visit to the site, but it certainly won’t be my last. The property was spotless, the experience unforgettable, and we enjoyed every moment to the fullest.
