Travel down a few miles of dirt roads and you will find our little oasis of 35 acres. The hard-sided yurt sits right next to the field where our camels and donkeys roam. Set apart from the main house, sitting in Trujillo Canyon, and surrounded by BLM/National Forrest, its the perfect spot for recharging. Located off the beaten path so amazing for star gazing but also close enough to the Sand Dunes for day adventures. Our property is off the grid and allows you to disconnect for a little while and there is a nice creek to go and sit by. Each stay also includes a farm tour if you are interested. The night skies have little light pollution and are perfect for star gazing. We can't wait for you to come and stay with us!Don't take our word for it, guests love their stays with us! "We struck gold finding this magical place. The yurt was so cozy, comfy, and full of tons of extras that exceeded our expectations. We booked our little trip to visit the dunes, but this farm was by far the best part of our trip. We loved our walks to see all the animals. The camels and donkeys were so friendly!"

After 11 years of living in Alaska, Jeremy and Katy purchased Aspen Ridge Cabins in the spring of 2020. The new owners are outdoor enthusiasts who met while both living in Colorado when Jeremy was a raft guide on the Arkansas River. Jeremy and Katy are excited to offer you a warm, welcoming stay and the very best views, fishing, and hiking in Southern Colorado.
The sky's the limit when it comes to Outdoor Activities in South Fork Colorado. The town of South Fork is surrounded on three sides by the Rio Grande National Forest and some of the largest undisturbed wilderness areas in the country. The outdoor activities are countless.
Nearby, the Rio Grande River and the South Fork River provide excellent trout fishing. In addition, there are many local lakes and reservoirs. If you prefer biking, hiking, or ATV riding there are many old logging and mining trails close by for breath taking views of nature’s finest. Aspen Ridge Cabins is located on the city's OHV trail, so you can ride right from the property without trailering.

-When the day is done and you're ready to put your feet up and rest awhile, we offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy an evening outdoors. We feature an outdoor area that allows for get-togethers and picnics, as well as open fires that capture the wild spirit and beauty of the outdoors.
Hunters and anglers have a walk in freezer/cooler for their harvests. There's also bagged ice for sale on site. Enjoy a walk to town on paved sidewalks, or kick back and cook steaks on the grill.

2022 RV RATES AND POLICIES
Welcome to Alpine Trails RV Park in beautiful South Fork, Colorado. We are hoping you will make us your home away from home. We have 31 full hookup RV sites available, 11 of which are pull-through. And if you don’t have and RV or need some additional space, we can also accommodate tents.
In the center of our park we have a Rec Hall with a large area that is great for potluck dinners, playing cards or simply getting together for a jam session. And on those cool mountain nights, sitting around the fire pit is the place to be. We also have laundry facilities and showers on site.
Our park is located right behind the South Fork Community Center. That means we are the closest park to the Logger Days Festival which is the third weekend of July and provides plenty of fun for the entire family!
Alpine Trails RV Park includes amenities such as WiFi, water, sewer, showers, and electricity. This RV park is located at 111 Wharton Road in South Fork, CO. Golf, hiking, off-roading/atv, and horseback riding are some of the activities you can enjoy during your stay here.
In addition to 42 full hookup RV campsites, the park has a two-bedroom cabin with a full kitchen and a stone fireplace. Nearby activities include hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, pickleball, and four-wheeling. You can visit attractions such as The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, the Malt Shoppe, and the Wolf Creek Ski Area. Whether its for a night or two, we hope to see you soon!
