The property basks in the sun of the Pyramids—a poetic way of saying it sits beneath Broken Off Point. It’s close to the wilds, as well as to the hot springs and the quaint town of Pagosa Springs. Biking can start right from Qi Camps. Hot springs—both primitive and commercial—are located east and west of Qi Camps, about 5–10 miles away. And yes, Qi Gong classes and holistic treatments are available at Qi Camps, along with treatments in the restorative waters of the hot springs near by. Chi Camp is 8 miles from Pagosa Springs Co. on a quiet dead end road. This sacred power spot sits at the entrance to Hurt Canyon under two sacred power pyramids. . Just a few blocks away is a new children’s playground with Pickle-ball, basketball and dog walk and frisbee field. We are also only 15 minutes from Pagosa Hot Springs and 30 minutes to Chimney Rock ruins, a national Monument, and the Piedra River Hotsprings and San Juan River and Turkey Springs trail systems. Great for hiking, boating, biking and skiing. Pagosa offers many great restaurants and stores, including Riff Raft Brewery, Pagosa Bakery, Kips, Walmart, Pagosa Medical Clinic and hospital and home to professional theater, golfing, fishing, Hot Springs, rivers and lakes. Durango and Chama narrrow gage railways and Wolfcreek Ski Resort are an hour away. Mesa Verde National Park and the Great Sand Dunes national parks are within a few hours. Come visit sunny, southern Colorado and the great Four Corners outdoor paradise.We are an off grid fully functional solar powered Chi Camp. We offer a 2 story heated cabin. All guests share a common Bath House Kitchen with running water, private toilet and propane heat. Our private bath/ shower room is perfect for a peaceful steamy bath or a warm cleansing shower. Our efficiency kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. The 2 story Chi Cabin requires a 2 nights minimum stay. Just call in advance and we will turn up the heat and she will be ready to go when you arrive. Upstairs in the Chi Cabin is our private master bedroom with fresh sheets and linens. Enjoy a king size futon with memory foam topper in this cozy bedroom tucked away in the trees only accessible by an indoor Anasazi ladder from the first floor living space. Lounge or do yoga, charge up your electronics or connect to the internet by phone or take a technology break and enjoy a long walk in the dense private woods a short walk from the camp. Qi Cabin
We had an awesome time at the cabin for Memorial Day, really private, tranquil, and so close to the springs. The cabin was great - two floors with ladder leading to the second floor. Showers, bathroom and kitchen next door. Many thanks to our hosts who were very responsive, and gave us the space to enjoy our time in Pagosa.
