AIYM Camp Riverfront Duplex Cabin!

The AIYM Camp serves as a wonderful base camp and Christian Retreat for families wanting to recreate in the Rio Grande National Forest.  Cabin rentals, RV Hookups with electric (50 amp) and water, Boondocking Campsites and Tent Campsites.

You are invited to stay on 185 acres surrounded by beautiful mountains in the Rio Grande National Forest. Escape the crowds and relax in the quiet mountains. Easy Alamosa River access. Close to outdoor adventures; fishing, hiking, biking, atv trail access. Come enjoy a secluded and unforgettable mountain experience!

The camp is in a wilderness setting with electricity supplied by a diesel generator that operates from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. No cell service in the canyon but the camp does have a regular phone for special usage and satellite Wi-Fi for $5.

The most unique quality is the beauty and cleanliness of the forest. The quiet peaceful atmosphere of the canyon is hard to believe. This is the perfect place for families to unplug, get outside but still have some of the comforts we all enjoy!

Chinook Cabins & RV Park

Our RV Park in South Fork CO has space for 18 R.V.’s. Each site has full hookups with the majority being 50amp service and are oversized so that they can handle any big rig! There is a shower house and laundry facility available for our guests (seasonal). There is more than ample parking and each site is easy to access.

Our sites are back off the highway for a more relaxing atmosphere and the view is amazing. We have a community fire pit of which we can roast hot dogs, marshmallows for s’mores and tell all the stories you would like. “What goes on at the Fire Pit stays at the Fire Pit.”

South Fork Colorado has all the family fun and challenging terrain you could ever look for.  1000’s of miles of trails to hike and bike.  Snowmobile/ATV/UTV and Motorcycle riding multi-use Rio Grande National Forest Service trails and roads. We welcome you with  plenty of parking area on site for your trailers to park.

The Rio Grande River offers world class fly fishing. There are plenty of lakes and creeks to enjoy also.

Wolf Creek Ski Area is just up the road from South Fork, Colorado for all your winter fun downhill skiing and snowboarding. Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing are fun low cost family activities with plenty of terrain to enjoy.

Great Sand Dunes National Park is open all year long and is a day trip from South Fork.  Enjoy the Sand Dunes National Park, learn how they were formed, hike a dune and try sand boarding. Zapata Falls is a short hike near the Sand Dunes.

South Fork Colorado has several other waterfalls nearby to visit, Treasure Falls and South & North Clear Creek falls.

2022 RV RATES AND POLICIES
Welcome to Alpine Trails RV Park in beautiful South Fork, Colorado. We are hoping you will make us your home away from home. We have 31 full hookup RV sites available, 11 of which are pull-through. And if you don’t have and RV or need some additional space, we can also accommodate tents.

In the center of our park we have a Rec Hall with a large area that is great for potluck dinners, playing cards or simply getting together for a jam session. And on those cool mountain nights, sitting around the fire pit is the place to be. We also have laundry facilities and showers on site.

Our park is located right behind the South Fork Community Center. That means we are the closest park to the Logger Days Festival which is the third weekend of July and provides plenty of fun for the entire family!

Alpine Trails RV Park includes amenities such as WiFi, water, sewer, showers, and electricity. This RV park is located at 111 Wharton Road in South Fork, CO. Golf, hiking, off-roading/atv, and horseback riding are some of the activities you can enjoy during your stay here.
In addition to 42 full hookup RV campsites, the park has a two-bedroom cabin with a full kitchen and a stone fireplace. Nearby activities include hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, pickleball, and four-wheeling. You can visit attractions such as The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, the Malt Shoppe, and the Wolf Creek Ski Area. Whether its for a night or two, we hope to see you soon!

The sky's the limit when it comes to Outdoor Activities in South Fork Colorado. The town of South Fork is surrounded on three sides by the Rio Grande National Forest and some of the largest undisturbed wilderness areas in the country. The outdoor activities are countless.

Nearby, the Rio Grande River and the South Fork River provide excellent trout fishing. In addition, there are many local lakes and reservoirs. If you prefer biking, hiking, or ATV riding there are many old logging and mining trails close by for breath taking views of nature’s finest. Aspen Ridge Cabins is located on the city's OHV trail, so you can ride right from the property without trailering.

-When the day is done and you're ready to put your feet up and rest awhile, we offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy an evening outdoors. We feature an outdoor area that allows for get-togethers and picnics, as well as open fires that capture the wild spirit and beauty of the outdoors.
Hunters and anglers have a walk in freezer/cooler for their harvests. There's also bagged ice for sale on site. Enjoy a walk to town on paved sidewalks, or kick back and cook steaks on the grill.

Waking up and walking out to the patio opens up panoramic views of the surrounding 13,000'+ mountains and adjoining vallies.  This cabin is NOT for the faint of heart - it's 30+ miles from the nearest paved road and REQUIRES a high clearance 4x4 vehicle (a Subaru will NOT make it) or side-by-side in order to access the property safely.   Please inquire to ensure your vehicle will be sufficient BEFORE booking :)

Schinzel Flats Hideaway - Winter

THIS PROPERTY CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED BY SNOW MACHINE!!!   Full renovations including full power and bathroom (toilet only) kitchen (bring your own water) and everything you would expect in a "normal" home,  is completely off-the-grid!  Surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest and Public Lands.   You will be responsible for getting to and from the lodge safely and with your own (or rented - we have suppliers if needed)  This is a VERY remote location!

Our tentyard resides in a beautiful aspen grove on the northeast end of the ranch, just behind the Amenities Barn.

HGTV made some magic happen in our 1930s barn, which glampers use as a clubhouse: lounge areas, billiards, shuffleboard, foosball, giant jenga, flatscreen w/ cable, screen with projector, balcony with stunning views, full kitchen, 2 half baths and shower.

Lower Blanco Camping Hideaway

Learn more about this land:While Camping on our site you will enjoy the privacy of being one of the last property's on the road with little to no traffic whatsoever.  Surrounded by Huge Ponderosa Pines and National Forest you will enjoy the serene peace that comes from being tucked away behind a mountain side.  Just 30 minutes from town where you can dine and visit the famous Hot Springs.  With the national forest so close by you will  have many opportunities as far as hiking trails and mountain biking.  There is also fishing nearby on ECHO Lake as well as the San Juan river where you can park downtown Pagosa Springs and fish there.    In the Winter you are only about 45 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area.  There is no service or wifi available here so you will be very remote and off the grid. 

We have a nice large flat area for you to park your small camper or truck camper  we will be cutting down the tree by the driveway soon.

You can easily pull a trailer onto the property there is not a big drop down where you could potentially bottom out the trailer.
