The camping space is a 1/3 acre field adjacent to a barn and barn-yard with goats and chickens who love to interact with people. It is 15 minutes from Red Rocks park / amphitheater and walking/biking distance to two scenic lakes/parks (Sloans lake and Crown Hill). There are multiple neighborhood restaurants, bars and a beer garden also in walking and biking distance in the communities of Edgewater, Wheat Ridge, Lakewood and Denver. We are RVers and love to stay in quiet, away from traffic, places; we thought others might as well so we decided to share our property.
Learn more about this land:
Private, semi rural property of 1 plus acre to house your RV while traveling or availing local activities; there is a home on the property. Close to Boulder CO and other towns, easy access and quiet place to stay that is not an RV park.
RV must be self contained with a toilet. We do NOT provide septic of any kind.
Generators may not be used, however we can supply 30 amp for a small fee during hot summer months. Pets must be leashed and waste picked up. No more than 2 pets per unit. We do not allow generators as we provide power for hot times.
We ask that the AC is off when the RV is unoccupied. Water as needed but there is NO sewer for dumping. This is a short term space for seeing the area and visiting people that you know. The camp spot is on 1 acre behind the house. You can enter and exit going forward. Tow car allowed but one vehicle per unit.

I loved the views! I loved seeing all the animals. It was very easy to find. There was games to play and have fun even if you forgot your entertainment. The portable potty was very clean and even had air freshener! It was a very beautiful place. Was very quiet even in close proximity to other campers. It was a very amazing experience.

This was exactly what we hoped it would be. We needed a place to stay as we traveled through Colorado in our campervan. We wanted to be close to red rocks for a concert...and this fit the bill perfectly. The property has a cool artsy industrial / rural vibe. It was quiet and the restroom and shower area, although shared, were clean and tidy. Randy showed us his shop which was a bonus since my son is also a maker. This is where the magic happens.. The trails in the area were amazing.
We hope to stay there again when we return.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back! The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived.
One of our favorite parts of this campsite was how private and secluded it felt. We barely saw anyone during our stay and didn’t encounter other campers until our last day, which made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. The campsite itself is very large, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the space.
There isn’t a porta potty directly next to this site, but there are several located throughout the property, so it wasn’t an issue for us. We also found some great hiking trails nearby and enjoyed exploring the area.
If you’re looking for a quiet, spacious campsite with friendly hosts and beautiful surroundings, we highly recommend staying here!

I was hesitant to try to book here because vehicle clearance is mentioned more than once and I drive a mini van. It was fine. I would recommend getting there before dark to find your spot.
The drive in is like driving through a national park. It is so beautiful.
The property is also amazing, the smell of the trees, the sounds of nature. Deer everywhere, and as the sun went down I watched some rabbits chase each other around. Great place for stargazing!
The bathrooms are pretty far from some of the campsites, but they are clean! You have to drive quite a ways back toward town to get cell phone signal if that matters to you.
Close to redrocks if you are attending a show, but also a great place if you want to visit the city and then get away from it.
