Had a wonderful time, even in the rain. The site was clean and roomy. One morning, a herd of elk? deer? pounced through the woods right behind the site. I'd stay again.

Site 4 was beautiful, private, and great for a big group. We couldn’t find the outhouse, and we did deal with some very loud neighbors, but besides that we had a great time. Rock climbing, wildlife sighting, watching the stars, this place is great. Even with no campfire

Campsite #2 was a wonderful campsite! Very spacious, very well hidden from the other site nearby. Although the outhouse is past campsite #2 up on a hill, so I would often see campers from campsite #5 walk by to use it. In mid July the days were in the 90s and the nights were very windy. Otherwise, the area was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Perfect spot for family camping

It was the perfect mix of seclusion and right by the city. Very ideal when you have kids. We will be looking forward to booking another trip. Maybe when it’s a little cooler but overall an amazing weekend thank you to the owners for this weekend our kids will remember forever 🙏

Great location at the top of the hill but the way the lots were numbered, it was very confusing…You need to put the signs with the numbers in succession…Other than that, it was great!

Great spot and a good cause. Really cool that this is so close to town but feels like you're completely separated from the city. It's a really nice area and it was set up well with a fire pit and picnic table. It was a little expensive for one night with limited amenities but overall I'd happily go back if it were a little cheaper! I know that it goes to a good cause and I'm happy to support that, just wouldn't be possibly for me unless I was able to split it with friends. Highly recommend otherwise!

Site 3 was a gorgeous camp site. Nature at its best. Very private. Somewhat pricey given that there were no camping amenities such as flush toilets or showers. But it was an absolutely beautiful location. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful campsite, Mercy Meadows (site 3) is for you!

I love hip camping here at Camp c cherished! I love that the proceeds go to a good cause and that it’s relatively close to my house – only 20 minutes – but I feel like I’m deep in the mountains. I love coming here!

This was easy to find, exceptionally clean, and has beautiful views and scenery (amazing boulders). I especially liked the gravel/dirt tent sites free of grass, and easy to drive tent stakes. Lots of wild turkeys around.

We absolutely loved camping here! We met Natalie and her husband and they are both so kind. A beautiful drive in. Each site has its own natural beauty lots to explore, good vibes, fire pit, picnic table and privacy from one another. There’s also an outhouse at the top on the hill if needed. We camped at site 2 with our dogs and watched a beautiful sunset! We are definitely pinning to come back here in the future— highly recommend camping here!

Idyllic camping spot

This campsite is a hidden gem. The location is very convenient for a closer destination that is not too far away. The campsite is secluded enough, tucked away in nature, surrounded by trees and wildlife. The campsite is clean and nicely setup, with a flat and cleared tent area, and a great fire pit. The directions were clear and easy to navigate. The host was very helpful and great with communication.

Camping Close to Home

It’s amazing that this is only 20 minutes from the Castle Rock outlets. My fiancé and I, with our dog, were looking for a little weekend getaway and felt like we were 3 hours from Denver. We stayed at spot #2 and loved the sunsets. But we would love to come back and try #3. Our dog loved that she had space to roam within our campsite and even saw turkeys and deer running around. She didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be back again.

Hard to believe that this exists so close to home! Property is absolutely stunning and private. We camped in site 3 under tall pines and well shaded with short climb to the "rocks"! This is one of the nicest camping sites anywhere and will be back for sure!

We had a great time camping here! The directions were easy to follow, campsite was easy to use, and we had the whole place to ourselves which was awesome. Would definitely camp here again.

We were the only ones out there, which is great. My dog was able to be off leash and being pretty trained as an old guy he appreciated it. It was a little confusing on how to get there since our maps took us right to where it gave you the option to go left or right both roads being marked “public property” with directions that weren’t helpful. Long story short the neighbors are not very nice, everyone around the area is very protective of their property.
