Beautiful Mountain Views off the back of a private farmstead.
Owners live on site close to campsite but we still felt fairly secluded off to the side of their horse paddock.

Staying at Mountain View offered a wholly different experience from your average campsite. It offered the beauty of the animals - horses, dogs, chickens - all that you find on a working ranch. It offers, if you choose, the chance to observe and appreciate the morning routines of a life with animals, the feeding and tending, the necessary care. All through the comfort of your space. We sat under the trees enjoying the sun setting beyond the pastures. Pretty idyllic and unique.
We did have a one off experience. As we turned into the driveway of the property with our trailer another vehicle was coming towards us. It was a black truck with a young driver who didn’t realize she could back up and let us pass. Instead she drove off the driveway, over the lawn and around us. This, we understood, caused a leak on the property which required a crew to work on the property for the two days we were there. They were considerate fellows except that they unplugged the power to our trailer both days which caused complications for our refrigeration. It was unfortunate as otherwise this site is highly recommendable and enjoyable.

Very peaceful spot a very short drive from downtown. The horses and dogs were lovely and we enjoyed walking around the property. We had a nice tucked in spot that felt somewhat private.

We are touring the area in our 20 ft camper before we move our daughter to CU in the fall. we really enjoyed our stay here- would recommend and would come back! ps the horses and views were very charming! :D

One of very few places to camp in Boulder, Co. The host is friendly and helpful. There is a great view of the mountains and it's a safe quiet place to stay. There is plenty of activity around the horses, so if you want something really private I would camp elsewhere, but we had no problem with it.

Had a wonderful stay! Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The view was stunning and loved getting to meet the horses. Space was quiet, peaceful, and very close to amenities and Boulder. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Candace's farm! It reminded us of home. The horses and farm dogs are right next to the parking spot, so it's more like an immersive farm experience than a campsite (which we loved). There's plenty of space to walk around and wander. Water is shared with the horse barn, and electric is either a 50amp or 15amp (just fine for our needs). The host, family, and other folks around the farm were all so friendly and inviting. We felt welcomed and safe, and the views are beautiful. We would definitely stay again!

The property is lovely and peaceful. We'd definitely like to visit again in warmer weather so that we would have more hours of vdaylight to do some hiking!

We were initially very grateful to not have to stay at Walmart, but ended up not not being much better off because we couldn't cook food due to the only electric outlet available was 15amp and already had other farm equipment plugged into it, which, along with our air fryer tripped the GFCI breaker. So we had sandwiches for dinner. I would also agree with other guests that it's not secluded. There is no privacy from the house, the busy road or the multiple horse owners visiting in the evening and morning. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed that the description didn't match our expectations. There was a large 5th wheel parked in a much more secluded spot nearby and they had access to the only 30amp outlet. The description really needs to more accurately describe the space. Additionally, folks also should be informed that there electrical cord will have to lay across a farm access road and potentially be driven over by vehicles. Also we weren't provided with information about how long our electrical cord needed to be (My guess is over 30ft.) We had to park perpendicular and as close to the edge of the farm access road os possible to reach across the dirt farm access road the outlet in the barn, and even then it was "hanging at both ends because it was barely long enough for our standard length cord.

I think that this place is a wonderful place if you are trying to be close to Denver or Boulder, but i wouldn't call it secluded.
The family is very nice and so are the animals.

Nice little farm stay with horses, chickens, ponies, and views. Excellent location with access to downtown Boulder and Boulder Creek. Candace and her family are very friendly. Site is basic and is best for boondocking. I would stay here again.

Great views, fun farm animals to interact with, and a very friendly host. Nothing to complain about! Definitely beats those cookie cutter campsites. It’s a very beautiful location, I would definitely recommend and I will book again!
