We have recently installed a Pergola for shade! Tent camping is in side the square (if you'd like!) as its lined with peegravel. There is a gate at the entrance of the field and there is a horse fence around the field is twine, so please use the gate! The share shower and bath house has on-demand hot water and a flushing toilet. We encourage all guests to be tidy and efficient as the yurts also share the same bath house.

The clamping Cabin sits behind the horse arena and in front of Tongue Creek. It's the cutest little cabin and we mean little, more like an expertly finished big shed. It is 10x14 with a 3x14 covered porch but finished inside like a 5 star hotel. AC, TV, Wifi, fireplace, comfortable queen size bed. Beetle kill tongue and groove ceiling, cultured barn wood wanes coating. It's super nice.
The ranch itself may be the reason for the "glamp" booking. The yard is manicured and the 25 house, goats and chickens are fun to see. The big plus is we are only 20 minutes away from the Grand Mesa outdoorsman mecca. This is probably the cheapest base camp to the Mesa.
The ranch is a great base camp to wineries, Moab, Telluride, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, fishing, boating, hiking, trails and hundreds of open BLM land for Razor riding. Check us out.

The House where we live is the corner stone of the Bruce Property and is on the Colorado Register of Historic Houses.The residence was constructed between 1905 and 1912, using red bricks made on the site. John and Sophia Bruce, early pioneers in the North Fork Valley, were first involved in cattle raising. The family later became successful fruit growers. The main building, which we have converted into a coworking space, is available for our guests to use from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Unfortunately, we are on old agricultural land, so the sites are in the direct sun during the day. Please be aware that it gets hot out here in the summer, and consider this when booking your stay with us. We were very happy with our stay on Mike's land; the pond was a delight. We appreciated the amenities, especially the canoes and kayaks for guest use, the thoughtful picnic table lighting, the firepits with grills, clean toilet, and the plentiful space between sites. We also enjoyed meeting Mike, who checked in to answer any questions and share his knowledge of the area (and beyond!). Great location, close to vineyards and college town, but removed enough to be dark and quiet at night.

This is one of those unlikely finds. As you drive through the neighborhood from the interstate it seems so unlikely that this place actually exists, and yet it was there and so quiet. Just us and the birds. And I think some red foxes off in the distance.

This is our 2nd time at this campsite and it was even more amazing this time around! Clean, spacious and a lot of exploring to do. Mike makes sure every site is in great condition and has firewood available. The lake is so pretty - we loved just sitting around watching the sunset. Our pups were in heaven! Mike and Stephanie came over to say hello and we had a great chat. This is the perfect campsite when you want to get away, have a spacious site and still be close to fun action in Palisade/GJ area. We will be back!

Very nice for an RV park! I typically try to avoid these RV parks, but this one is really nice. Not super big. Lots of space between the campers. A special area for vans. The shower and bathroom house is super nice. Great location. Palisade is just gorgeous. Lots to do in the area. There is some train noise, but I did not notice that at night.

We didn't get a chance to get on the water due to high winds, but we'll be back in the summer to test the waters! I was excited to stay here just from the photos and the description…. Then we pulled up.
It was private, boutique, and romantic. I see why it doubles as a wedding venue.
We were only able to stay one night but it was enough to get us hooked. The host and hostess were communicative, thoughtful and had outfitted the whole property perfectly. It hardly felt like camping. We lucked out and had the whole place to ourselves- the bistro lights, nearby orchards and proximity to town made it easy to unwind after traveling.
We can’t wait to stay again- for a couple of nights.

Nice spot! There were some floodlights across the street shining at us, so something to be aware od if you dont have curtains or a dark tent. Flat and easy to find. No bathrooms. One mile walk to an amazingggg winery and absolutely lovely views! Relatively quiet road nearby. We heard so many meadowlarks in the field around us as the sun set!

It’s pretty rough and rustic, but it’s quite pleasant when you park your rig right on the shore of the lake and focus your views that way. I enjoyed walking around and exploring the property. They’re actually four or five lakes in the vicinity. I’m used to amazing views so I did not find the the views as spectacular as some other others said, but the sunrise and sunsets are very, very pretty and very worthwhile. Peacock’s next-door, which is really fun, also heard sandhill cranes, plus of course, tons of other birds.
My cat had a fabulous time exploring everything.
It was a super convenient location to visit with friends in various parts of Palisade and Grand Junction. The host is super chill, appreciated.Would definitely stay there again.

We booked this spot last minute for a quick stop over on a longer journey. We got in late and left early so we didn’t spend too much time at the property but everything was great. The host met us when we arrived (even though it was late) and was very helpful. The spot was as described, power hookup and nice camp bathroom very close and private. The area is beautiful. We would stay again if we were in the area.
