A great place to stay just outside of the park. Be near the park, but feel that complete privacy. These sites are very spaced out from each other and are large. No need to cram together! Explore the mines and hang out on our Groveland, California ranch! We have 824 acres on a beautiful cattle ranch with two small ponds. On our property, you'll find frogs, turtles, oak trees, pine trees and stunning views of Yosemite. We have several campsites to choose from including RV camping, tent camping, and a glamping tent. Pets are welcome. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban. Potable water and toilet are available onsite. There's a golf course less than a mile away. We are also very close to town. In just a few minutes, you can drive to our local grocery store and pizza parlour. We are a 10-minute drive to Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful Pine Mountain Lake offers golfing, dining, horseback riding, water sports and an airport. When you come to the ranch it feels like you are hundreds of miles away from civilization, but still close to everything you need. It is incredibly peaceful! This is a great place for someone who wants to escape city life and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Much of the ranch is open wilderness for you to explore, and it's not uncommon to see deer, frogs, turtles, quail, turkeys, or other countless species of birds. Diamond Gulch Camp is the perfect place to relax if you’re a photographer, artist, family or a group of friends looking for a place to camp near Yosemite. A small portion of the property was used as a gold mine years ago, and you may find remnants of old home sites if you go exploring. We're not far from Wards Ferry Road, Groveland, Lake Don Pedro and other interesting places.

So turn off your phone and turn on your senses. It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a tent/RV site or a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy campfires and eat s'mores. For more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards, bird watching, available in the area. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow paced life instead. At Paradise Shores, we believe in protecting people, animals and the planet. We make sure that the majority of products we use at our camp is recycled, composted, or re-used. We prefer to use products that are produced in a sustainable way and avoid those that aren't. We are continuously reducing the amount of waste we generate and actively promote recycling of aluminum, plastic, glass, and cardboard. We pack our own recycling and haul it to the nearest recycling facility which is an hour away. We co-opt the drive with other activities to reduce waste. We don’t use individually packaged toiletries or one-use products. We use plant and planet friendly detergent. We're based in a desert. We share our precious water with the entire planet. With only 326 million cubic miles of water on the earth, the decreasing amounts of access to quality fresh water is alarming to us. We monitor how we use water in our day-to-day activities and are constantly working on ways to reduce our consumption of fresh-water resources. We hope you can help us maintain this greener camping! We hope Paradise Shores Camp becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie, CA are all within a short drive from our place. We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. The excellent hiking/running trails including the Pacific Crest Trail, thousands of miles of ATV, dirt bike and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from here. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in remote wilderness settings. Pet Policy All our RV & Tent sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation for a small fee. We can also accommodate up to two four-legged campers in our pet-friendly Baja or Tatra trailers for a small fee, we ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard. Each A-frame is equipped with solar power for small device charging, a portable fan, and access to an odorless composting toilet (cabin 2,3) or a pottery (cabin 1) near the cabin. The cabins also have access to hot showers and flushing toilets across the highway at our sister property. It’s a true step off the beaten path and into a more immersive experience. The cabins include a bed, shelter from the elements, and solar-powered lighting and charging. Because this is a rustic glamping experience, the cabin doors do not lock. We are located in a quiet, remote setting, and guests should plan accordingly. • Cabin 1: Easily accessible for most vehicles. • Cabins 2 and 3: A bit more adventurous — AWD or 4x4 recommended during rain or wet conditions. Note that when temperatures in Groveland are above 90 degrees, the cabins do get quite warm. The best ways we have found to manage the heat is by leaving the doors open during the day (with the screen door closed), curtain closed, and fan on all day. We are open for the 2026 Camping Season. All campsites include a fire ring and picnic table. Potable water is available in a central location (guests must supply their own containers) and flushing toilets and heated showers are available at our main bathhouse. Please prepare for a camping in nature experience which includes bugs, pests, rustic restrooms, heated showers, gorgeous, minimally managed watersheds and the most beautiful starry skies! River Ranch Campground has been proudly hosting families since the 1960's. At River Ranch Campgrounds, Tuolumne, CA we offer a range of activities to make your stay enjoyable. Take a hike on one of the many trails winding through the Stanislaus National Forest at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains, or cast a line in the North Fork of the Tuolumne River or Basin Creek for some great native fishing. After a long day of exploration, come back to the campgrounds and relax by the firepit or enjoy a picnic in one of our many picnic areas. Activities in the campground include horseshoes, sand volleyball, sandbox for the kiddos and frisbee golf for all. We pride ourselves on blending nature and family camping in a safe, serene environment. Important notes: We are off-grid. There is no electricity in the campground with exception of a small solar powered system to operate our entry gate, guest Wi-Fi and intercom. Outlets are not available for guest use. Our campground is home to wildlife. You can minimize unwanted encounters by properly storing food and garbage. We have one central bathhouse with 3 flushing toilets. Sites vary in distance from a short walk to a short drive. The bathhouse has 4 shower stalls in the rear of the building. The bathhouse is closed from 10pm to 8am. The bathhouse does not have electricity or interior lighting. Our Hacienda section ("H" Sites) has vault toilets. Portables are located throughout the campground for your convenience. There is minimal privacy from other campers due to the placement of the sites and the way our trees and vegetation is trimmed for fire resistance. All guests and vehicles must be registered upon arrival.

Weekend Trip to Nolla A-Frames Near Yosemite

This cabin was so cute and comfortable! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Although they mention cabin 2 and 3 have enough space in between them, I’d say it would be better to book both with a group rather than booking one as they are close enough where it’s not private and sharing the space with strangers isn’t ideal. Otherwise it was perfect location for our trip to Yosemite! Would recommend.

Had a great one night stay there before a big hike in Yosemite. It is a really great campground. Totally supports the great reviews! Not sure if I've ever come across a campground with such nice perks - fire pit, umbrella, water, level tent pads, etc. Bathrooms and shower area top notch. Note that power lines are an imposing background feature, but easy to look past. Canyon scenery is amazing. Some highway noise but not terrible. Sites have notable different pros/cons. Hopefully in the future owners can explain or show sites better on website to help people decide. We had #8 which was great. We would come back for sure.

Really great private spot. Creek was dry when we went which was to be expected, but we’d like to come back during the spring! Stargazing was beautiful. I see what the other reviews were saying about the tent spots, but we just had our head on the higher side and had no problems! Would recommend and return!

Kiya was very responsive in approving the booking and answering texts. She made sure I had the right instructions to get there and hook things up to my Camper trailer. Left us some adapters just in case. The property is nice and quiet, with big trees on a small hill. Free WiFi was provided and There is a gas station close by so within the reach of civilization. Just an hour of scenic drive from either entrances of Yosemite. It was a smooth experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our stay here! ❤️ This was our first time car camping in our Tesla, and we honestly couldn’t have picked a better campsite for the experience. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we could have hoped for. We loved the privacy, beautiful views, fire pit, bathroom/shower amenities, and being surrounded by nature. It was the perfect balance of feeling like we were getting away and still having the comforts that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. One of our favorite parts was simply being able to settle into our Tesla, enjoy the scenery, watch the sunset, have a fire, and wake up to such a peaceful setting. 🌅🔥 There was something really special about being able to slow down and enjoy quality time together without all the distractions of everyday life. The host was also wonderful and clearly puts a lot of thought and care into creating a welcoming experience for guests. You can tell that this campsite has so much potential, and we really hope more people discover it! Since we noticed there aren’t many reviews yet, we wanted to make sure we took the time to share our experience. If you’re thinking about booking this campsite, do it! We had such a great time, felt comfortable and welcomed, and would absolutely come back again. 🏕️❤️ Thank you for having us! Our first Tesla camping adventure was one we’ll definitely remember. 🚗✨

A solid, no-frills campground that was perfect for parking my 28’ Airstream and visiting Yosemite National Park. My spot was shady and it was peaceful and quiet. The staff was very welcoming & helpful, John had many recommendations for my visit to the national park amd owner Mac stopped by to check in on me.
