I’m a single mom of three running a small homestead complete with a garden, a dog, a cat, a flock of chickens, a quail, and a handful of guinea pigs. The homestead sits along the river in the foothills above Mariposa with five acres of land to wander, swimming holes galore, and plenty of wildlife and plant life to take in along the way. I'm a musician, and I love sharing my instruments, so don't be shy about asking to borrow one. We're always happy to share a meal, let the kids run around together, or just sit and feed the animals for a while. But if you're here for peace and quiet, that's just as welcome. This is a place for whatever you need. Every dollar from your booking goes directly back into the property - animal feed, tending to the land, and the community projects we're always dreaming up. So thank you, genuinely, for being part of that. Dogs always welcome. 🐾 Inquire of you are looking for a van spot, we may be able accommodate!This is a fully private drive-in site. No shared paths, no neighboring tents, no one walking through. Just a granite outcropping with sunrise views, open sky, and endless stars. There is a private trail leading one minute down to community river filled with hidden swimming holes. Wake to first light warming the stone, spend the day lounging on the granite boulders, and end the night under a genuinely dark Sierra Nevada sky. There is a glass water tank and sink to wash your dishes, a compostable toilet, a picnic table and fire pit. Fires are welcome when the fire ban is not in effect. Yosemite's Hwy 140 entrance is about 45 minutes away. Swimming is best late spring through mid summer. Friendly dogs always welcome!

A beautifully secluded spot

Granite Sunrise Campsite
This is a beautifully secluded spot, close to Yosemite with gorgeous sunset views. It's a vast, private space with a chimnea, hammock and outdoor kitchen and toilet facilities. The host popped up to say hello with her dog, and was super friendly and accommodating.

What a great site! Caley was super chill and helpful. Big property offering lots of beauty and privacy. We had so much fun exploring the creek. 10/10 would visit again🫶🏽

This place is seriously a hidden gem. My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to be the first to stay here, and it did NOT disappoint. private, insanely beautiful views, and there’s even a peaceful little creek that makes the whole spot feel unreal. Honestly… part of me wants to gatekeep this place because it’s that good 😭 but it definitely deserves some hype. Will be back soon!
