Loved our stay! Loved the tub! Bring LOTS of ice because it does get hot! Host was very nice!

We only stayed a short time on a road trip on the PCH. Very quiet camp, dark sky for stargazing, and a really great base for Pismo. Lovely walk down into Arroyo Grande for dinner, if simple pleasures float your boat, this is perfect.

I loved the campground. The cabin area, restrooms and showers were very clean, we had a lot of space and there was a space heater in the cabin which was perfect for the cold night. It was very close to the beach and conveniently close to a lot of stores and restraunts. The host was very kind. We will definitely be coming back again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and had plenty of electrical plugs to recharge our phones, headlamps, etc. The pool was clean and water heated. Restrooms and showers were very clean too. One tiny criticism is that the women's restroom light sensor turns off quickly. I had to come out of the stall to waive my hand to get the lights to turn on again. Overall, we enjoyed it and will stay again if the opportunity presents.

I had such a peaceful and rejuvenating stay at this spot. The views were absolutely stunning—rolling hills and open skies that made for perfect sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing. Each morning, I woke up to the sound of birdsong, which made the whole experience feel even more serene. Site was easily accessed and had a nice fenced in area around the camp for my dog to stretch his legs and sniff around

what a peaceful retreat it was staying in this little cabin! comfy bed, a porch and birds on surround sound. it was like staying in a sanctuary! if you’re looking to get off the grid and not have the sound of roads anywhere nearby, this is the place. i would absolutely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Vinyl Vineyards Glampground

I loved camping here! Kenney was so nice and very helpful. The property was clean and beautiful. We loved meeting his dogs when they came down to greet us and seeing the abundant wildlife there. The cows came right over by our cars while we camped. His property was large enough for us to hike around and the views were stellar and romatic. Camping in winecountry! We will be back!

3 nights at Camp Arroyo Grande

We stayed in a wonderful cabin which was spotlessly clean with lots of windows for ventilation. The bathrooms were also spotlessly clean. It was very quiet while we were there with lots of birdsong. It was a very easy check-in and check-out. I highly recommend this HipCamp.

Weekend Trip to Kindred Acre Wood

Lorna's place is absolutely beautiful, and the trailer is cozy and provides the basics for a good stay. The location is great, and the trailer is mostly private. There were a couple of things that have stopped me from leaving a stellar review: 1. The first night we were awoken by a volunteer and her friends coming home in the wee hours of the night, turning all of the lights and using our shower. 2. We were not provided any extra buckets or lids for the outhouse loo. We did ask for them and we're only given a new one and no extras 3. The volunteers hang out at the communal kitchen which is right above where the outside shower is so if you are even a bit tall you may be having a shower and looking out at them. Pluto, the dog, was amazing he hung out with us whenever we were there and is a very sweet and well behaved dog! (The other dogs are great too!) We really did enjoy our stay, but the above could be improved upon (especially considering the cost).

Had a great stay. Came for the weekend to get out of the city and it was such a cool experience being able to see all the stars at night.

This cabin is HUGE with tons of space for a larger group to hang out. The beds are great and we loved having so much bathroom space! The grounds are beautiful and the camp staff are so friendly and accommodating. We will absolutely be back :)

We had the most wonderful stay at Enney ranch! We stayed on roadrunner Ridge and it had gorgeous views of the entire valley. Kenny met us at the campsite as soon as we showed up and was so helpful and accommodating. We went on the most lovely coffee walk with the cows and his cattle dog to show us around!! We will definitely be back!!

I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings. The bed was super comfortable! Kenneth greeted me upon arrival and the directions getting there were perfect.

Our 42 acres is located at the beginning of the award winning Adelaide Wine trail in Paso Robles. Our ranch was once home to a horse boarding and breeding ranch which bred Paso Fino horses, known for their beautiful gait. Having been a horse ranch, it left us with some nice trails that you can enjoy during your stay. We have some nice uphill walks to view your local surroundings while sitting to enjoy a glass of wine or you morning cup of coffee/tea. We are on a well out here so at times you may get a sulphur/mineral smell to the water. Please bring your own drinking/cooking water. It is safe to shower, my hair feels so much thicker! On the ranch you will see that we have 2 donkeys, Desi (black) and Lucy (light grey). Along with our donkeys we have to friendly goats, Fiona (brown) and Sadie (white), they love carrots. but please stick to one carrot a day each, we don't want to over feed them. We also have chickens which means have farm fresh eggs. $5 for 1/2 dozen. Up on the hill you will see Connie a cow and her buddy Samuel, the bull. they love carrots but please do not go into their pasture. She'll think you're bringing food and gets very dangerously excited. Please feel free to walk the property and become one with nature while observing the local indigenous floral and fauna.

We are living our dream after recently finding and purchasing this beautiful 10 acre parcel, one of the sunniest in the canyon with a bucolic creek that flows all year. See Canyon itself is a special place. Home to a multitude of birds and wildlife, a beautiful scenic winding road, lush landscaping and a host of apple orchards. Thanks to the micro climate we have here, we grow some of the best fruit in the country. The coastal canyon is just a short distance to the beach and 15 minutes into town but feels like a world away when you are here. The star gazing is incredible as the canyon walls block the light pollution and the milky way shines! Welcome to our little slice of 10 acre heaven in the Canyon! Just bring yourself and we have everything else!! Nestle up in the Cozy Gnome Home, a 1967 vintage trailer and listen to the symphony of frogs in the creek just outside your window. With love and labor... we gutted, redesigned and restored this little trailer for the ultimate functioning space for two. Nice little kitchen with copper counters and everything you need for cooking and dining. A Berkey filter for clean water, hardwood floors and a comfy bed complete with organic mattress, down comforter and cotton sheets. Fold out dining table if you care to (or need to) eat indoors. There is also an outdoor kitchen space with a sink (no hot water), gas grill, propane burner (bring your own small canister) and a patio table and chairs. We have a charcoal grill available too. The creek runs mostly year round so feel free to get your feet wet on a hot sunny day. We also have an outdoor warm shower and sink as well as a hot water kitchen sink that you can share with other campers. You are welcome to cruise the property and check out the chickens, ducks and horses. We have three dogs on the ranch, a deaf and incredibly sweet pitbull ( he is a food thief so store food and garbage as though raccoons were a problem), a curious and playful ranch dog Pluto (who will be your tour guide) and a Boston Bulldogge, Astrid. We are surrounded by orchards which have some of the best apples and pears in the country. Seasonally you can stop by many apple markets and do a tasting. We also have a lively wine tasting venue less than a mile away. Avila Beach is a short 4 miles away and we are happy to share bikes if we have them available but can't guarantee any. Our location is a bikers' dream as the 13 mile scenic road takes you all the way into SLO. NOTE: If you want to bring others to camp, please note that they need to bring their own tents and supplies, we only have room for two but welcome self sufficient campers to join you :) also, we have a camp stove you can use to cook on but bring your own little green propane canister.

The Tiny House: A Fairy tale cottage style wooden tiny home built in the 1980's with a bottle wall, full bath, and reading nook. This three story wonder will leave you inspired to step into your own story. Fully equipped with a small kitchen, queen bed, reading nook and two beautiful outdoor decks, you'll feel like you stepped into another world. The Main Bungalow is a 1970's GEM, built by a movie industry icon with views of the valley through the stunning and huge five windows overlooking the Salinas River. Two bedrooms downstairs and two full baths, accompany a well appointed kitchen. The upstairs loft accommodates two additional semi private queen beds, and additional seating area. We have gates, and we have a general equine liability form for you to complete, and then we can give you the gate code. I have been here for 14 years. I have an organic farm, polo club, boarding stables, a few gypsy friends and 2 kids. If you are looking for a place to crash while enjoying San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay and Los Osos this is it!! If you want to learn to ride or play polo... that is my real job. Guests love it here: "My husband, friends, and our dogs spent Thanksgiving at Megan’s farm. Megan was welcoming, patient (I asked her a number of questions) and responsive - even on Thanksgiving evening. The property is in a GREAT location so close to SLO, Montaña de Oro, Morro Bay, wineries and so much more. (The weather prevented us from experiencing that and so much more but it’s easy to build a great trip when staying at Megan’s place.) It was a unique experience and if you enjoy or interested in horses - this is a great spot to stay."

Hazel Homestead- Central Coast Farm

We are a small farm on a 1 acre gated property that has two RV spots and a bar shed. We have full hookups in both sites. Our town is rural but it's still close to HWY 101. We do live on the property, close enough if you need anything but far enough for privacy. We host happy hour for campers who are interested. Although the hours depend on arrival and our availability. We have a common area between the two sites that offered a nice fire pit. Our farm has 3 goats, 2 pot bellied pigs and 20 chickens that lay fresh eggs daily. We LOVE animals but we CANNOT ALLOW PETS. Also, sorry no tent camping. RV's only. We do not provide bathrooms or showers on site. Don’t have an RV? RENT OURS! We have everything you need for your family. Enjoy a weekend on the farm and glamp in our RV. We have all the amenities of home. Coming to enjoy the area? The property is just a few mins off the 101 freeway on the Central Coast. We are only 15 mins South of Pismo Beach, 30 mins south of San Luis Obispo and an hour North of Santa Barbara. The beach, wineries and shopping are all very close. Or if you are looking for a quiet retreat with some super sweet farm animals stay here and enjoy the farm.
