There is Poison Oak on the property, please be mindful. There are bears, but will normally stay away from the campsite. Please put your food away to prevent wildlife from coming into your camp. Check us out on Instagram @koozeefarm. One RV spot available at this time with no electricity, water or sewage system on a magical up and coming farm. We just moved here one year ago and are working to turn this into a small hobby farm for people to visit and have a memorable experience. It is right on the Scott River and has a creek flowing through the center of it. We have a vegetable garden, lots of fruit trees and very lovable chickens to visit with. There is a common space with a gas firepit, bar and dart board to hang in after spending the day hiking through the National Forest surrounding the property. There is a small town 15 minutes down the road with a grocery store, library, brewery, butcher, bakery and distillery. The Callahan Emporium is only 3 minutes up the road and has snacks, burgers, live music, beer and wine! We have everything you need while surrounded by beautiful nature.

I had an incredible stay at this riverfront camp. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and right on the water. Michael, the host, was extremely hospitable and kind. You can tell he truly cares about the land and the people who come to enjoy it.
Waking up to the sound of the Trinity and being able to step out and swing flies right from camp was unreal. I managed to bring a few nice steelhead to the net without ever having to leave the property. If you’re a fisherman, this place is gold. If you’re a family looking for a quiet place to relax, swim, explore, and enjoy the outdoors, it’s perfect for you too.
Highly recommend. I’ll be back.

BigFoot Lodging campground is a beautiful little hidden gem. With healthy tall pinetrees there is shade and beauty at each site. Sites are wide with plenty of room for a tent if someone in your crew doesn't want to sleep in the RV (our daughter!). Picnic table at each site. Fire pits, although there are no grates over the fire pits in case you wanted to cook that way. GORGEOUS little waterfall 5 min walk from the camping sites. Helpful hosts. Small store with all those little things you forgot. Firewood available for $10 per bundle, cheaper than the convenience store or the dollar store in Shingletown. It's just a really pretty little campground that we will definitely be returning to!

We stayed at Michael’s property right on the Trinity River, and it was a great experience. The directions were easy to follow, making it simple to find. The campground was clean, and the host was friendly and helpful. The best part was having the entire site to ourselves, which was a huge plus. River access was convenient, and we spent plenty of time by the water. There’s also plenty of shade around the property to set up your tent.
The only thing to mention is that the campsite is fairly close to the boat launch, so you might hear some activity during the day. Other than that, it’s an excellent spot to camp.

VERY helpful and accommodating. Kept the office open late for our arrival and spent time directing us in the dark and giving us loads of information in the morning about RVs. Their espresso was delicious and they had several milk choices to make our morning travels tasty. THANK YOU! Would highly recommend.

RIGHT ON THE RIVER! Fish jumping right in front of you. I caught a little rainbow every morning I was there off a tiny fly. Too small to keep but the experience was amazing. There are big fish in the river too but were too wise to what I was fishing with. Its right by the boat launch so you can take your floatables and cruze down the river as long as you have a ride back to camp. We had an awesome time, a gem on the trinity river!

A serene, safe spot to camp for 4 nights. And a perfect location for accessing all that Mt, Shasta and the surrounding area has available. I highly recommend the sound bath with Bodhi, as it was an incredible experience and unlike other sound baths I’ve done in the past. You won’t be disappointed!!

Had such an amazing time at fly camp. We got the whole campsite to ourselves, which made it extra special. The bathroom was close enough to us and the water was just a few feet away. We saw a lot of wildlife and caught over 20 fish. It was awesome! Wood definitely go again 10/10!

We would have loved to stay much longer. It's a lovely small park with enormous shade trees, a nice meadow and a little creek. Closer to the freeway but quiet. The best part is everything in the area! From the Lassen volcanic area to Shasta lake, throw in about a hundred waterfalls and we could spend weeks having a great time.

From the moment you arrive, the first thing you'll notice is the refreshing scent of pine trees. Surrounded by lush greenery and the calming sound of the nearby river, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Our family had a wonderful time during our stay.
