Snow Season Reminders: *The Tree Top Chalet on a street that is plowed by the county. Please be sure to check weather conditions and CalTrans for updates prior to your arrival. On occasions, depending on in climate weather and road conditions, tire chains are mandated by CalTrans and you will not be allowed to drive up the mountain without them in snowy conditions. Please note there will be checkpoints set up along the road where there will also be people to assist with chain installation for a fee. *Normal winter weather/road conditions are not grounds for reservation changes or cancellations. *We can provide snow removal service before guest check in, there are snow shovels and additional salt for you to utilize during your stay. We are glad to coordinate additional snow shoveling/blowing services at cost if desired, just let us know :)

Weekend Trip to Little Blue

We booked the Little Blue Cabin as a last minute getaway and didn’t realize it would be snowing there, which turned out to be the best surprise! The entire town of Green Valley Lake was so pretty with fresh snow and the cabin kept us so cozy despite being low 30s outside. Also, the host was absolutely amazing - he messaged me with snow updates and chain requirements to make sure we were equipped to make the drive out there. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It was an absolutely wonderful stay, and I’m so glad our dog got to experience snow!

Angel's Nest is a gem - especially at the price! It's a beautiful mountain cabin that has family entertainment in mind. We played shuffleboard all afternoon and switched it up with the arcade machine and basketball; the kids had a blast! Really lovely kitchen, bedrooms and living areas as well! Great for a family mountain getaway. Only warning is: there are lots of stairs and a very steep driveway. Keep that in mind when if that's an issue for you. Martin was also very responsive and hospitable! We will definitely be back!

Great place, peaceful, beautiful, well maintained, and clean none toxic cookware! Haha I know that’s a funny thing to be excited about but as a cook I love stainless steel and all were stainless steel, also master bed and pillows very comfortable, Tempur-Pedic I believe. Lots of stairs, so just be aware we brought our elder dog and was a little tricky for him to navigate; but other than that, host replied quickly to all questions and highly recommended!

Great place to stay and so close to Lake Gregory! My family and I walked there and the scenery as we walked was amazing. We enjoyed board games at night as well as the TV. Upstairs had an amazing studio styled home with a wonderful array of vinyls to listen to! The Sky Bear Cabin was also very cozy, there was a loft where you can bask in the sun.

Weekend Trip to The Engels Nest Fall Leaves!

The cabin is so cute and easy to find/access! It was less than a 5 minute drive from the lake and there were lots of trails nearby. The trails were a bit tricky to navigate with little signage so we didn't venture too far but the views were still great. I would recommend bringing essentials (shampoo, body wash, coffee) but the cabin had pots, pans, toaster, dishes, etc. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing slow paced weekend away!

The Nook is truly a special place. It is tucked away in the woods, and on the quietest road you can imagine. I don't think I saw a car driving by the while time we were there so if you are looking for true peace and quiet, this is it! The property itself has so many amenities, like a fully stocked kitchen, painting nook, tons of boardgames and books. It also has a TV for cozy movie nights! The bedrooms were SO cozy too and the bathroom even had a jetted tub!! We were so sad to leave the Nook, and are already planning our trip back. Thank you again, Abby!

This home is beautiful, full of light, and well-appointed. The steep stairs and driveway are no joke, so I wouldn’t recommend it for very young children. The bunk beds and third floor game room were huge hits. The jack-and-jill bathroom connecting the main bedroom with the kids room provided both privacy and peace of mind. The main bed is also amongst the most comfortable I’ve slept on.

This spot is incredible. Truly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in my life, and it's 15 minutes from the City's swirl. Saskia and Fallon have made this such a soulful special haven -- the stone cabin is something out of a different era, the decor is so spirited, and the Canyon itself is literally jaw dropping. Great place! The game room was an added bonus. You can hours of fun there alone, and the video game has other 80s hits besides Joust. We were planning on going to Arrowhead during our stay but spent all our time in Crestline and Lake Gregory, which is just a few minutes away. Thanks for a fun stay!
