I went up here with 7 other friends and we had an amazing time! Sarah was an exceptional host and greeted us as we arrived. There was plenty of space and lots of areas to explore. Definitely going again!

The pool was amazing with the heat wave Labor Day weekend! The communal bathrooms and shower area was well maintained and taken care of by the staff. The solar lighting they had around the property provided a cute sparkling shimmer to the area. The upper bar/bonfire/pool table area was a very cool atmosphere to hang out, meet people, while under the stairs. They even have their fully furnished kitchen to cook food if you’d like. The area is semi spread out so not much privacy if you are looking for a private stay but it made for some fun interactions

Enchanted Forest Campsite

Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. I’m not a dog person but the ones here were great. This is a great space. It is not glamping but there are a lot of amenities in a rustic environment. It was an excellent getaway for me and my young daughter, who loved the chickens, goats, pool and dogs. Would definitely come back.

Enchanted Forest Campsite

Such a cool place to be. ArtFarm has the best of all worlds. There is a desert, a forest, and an old town feel. We had such a great experience. Positive: - Very friendly staff and helpful - Hot/Cold Shower - Full use of the kitchenette - Swimming pool overlooking the mountain. - peace and quiet - beautiful view of the stars Minor negative - If the composed bathroom is not for you, it's not your place. (it is clean every morning) - Some bug issues, so bring "off" - Some of the equipment is old (but you are camping, so don't expect hotel amenities) We were able to check out their cabins. It has AC and clean bedding. We want to come back and try their cabins.

Enchanted Forest Campsite

Tony, Saskia, Emily, Mezze (not sure of spelling!) and all of the community working on the property were incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful! From the moment we arrived, we knew this would be a lovely weekend. Once greeted we were given a tour and offered to choose between a number of sites based on the preferences we shared. The pool was such a great amenity for a hot weekend, and the lookout point at the top of the property had amazing start gazing, and great views of the surrounding valley. The dogs on property were friendly and fun to hang with. The kitchen, bathrooms and saloon were great amenities to have as well. The decor was unique and fun, with plenty hammocks to lounge in, tables and chairs to use. We highly recommend ArtFarm for anyone looking for a fun place to stay, with amenities and a great community of people to connect with. We will definitely be back!

I had a good time taking my son camping here over the weekend. Artfarm is an eccentric if rustic place, an acquired taste perhaps (I can appreciate most reviews reviews here). The surrounding area is beautiful. The kitchen amenities came in handy. There’s good shower and toilet facilities. There was a bit of a wasp issue which made it a bit hard to enjoy a meal. The owner and the volunteers I met were all very nice. My son loved playing with the German Shepherds they were very friendly. It was very quiet whilst we were there, I didn’t expect that in the high of summer. The bar atop the property was not ‘open’ whilst we were there but my son and I made good use of the pool table and it provides for a nice shady spot out of the sun during the day to play games or enjoy a good book. .It was interesting getting to know the owner along with a bit of history of the property.

I enjoyed my stay at ArtFarm and would definitely come back for another glamping trip! The cabin was very cozy but clean. Very quiet and relaxing. Steps away from the kitchen and bathrooms which made it very convenient. The cabin was a bit warm and stuffy during the daytime, so I had to leave the door open to get airflow during the day - keep that in mind if you are staying during the hot summer months. The WiFi was also bit hit or miss at times. My one suggestion for the host is to have some signage up to point where some of the key landmarks are - there’s a lot of land, and that would have been helpful for orientation.

I had such a lovely time here! As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable. The pool was lovely and everything was kept very clean. They have everything that you need and more! The drive up to the property is lovely as well with lots of farm animals to see along the way. Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be back!

I really wanted to love this place because it looked nice as advertised, unfortunately, it was nothing like it. The place has ran down and it needs serious cleaning and maintenance. We were supposed to stay two nights but we left as soon as the kids were up the first day. We couldnt sleep from all the mice running around and there were mice droppings on the bed and under. The saloon, the kitchen, the bathrooms, really need some cleaning and tidying up.

What an incredible place! We felt like we were welcomed like family. The access to a full kitchen and compost bathroom and amazing hot showers was so nice. Even though it was super full over the holiday weekend, it all felt so relaxing and everyone there was so kind. We will be back!

My kids and I loved camping there. It had the right facilities we needed (pool, showers, full kitchen), hiking trails, fun loving dogs to play with and educational state parks within a short drive. All the staff was very friendly and helpful with any needs.

ArtFarm was a lot of fun for us and our teenage girls. We had great time with our doggo having free rein and our cozy cabin still had enough room for board games and meals. Communal kitchen and bathroom were clean and convenient. Our youngest really enjoyed feeding the goats and chickens. Hiking nearby as well. Staff super friendly and accommodating. First time using HipCamp, thanks for a great experience!

We had a great time! It was so nice to let the kids wander without a worry and the same went for the dogs! The only downer was the cold weather which no one had control of! We will be back and it will be fun to see the new developments! Thank you Dom for being so nice and gracious!

Ladybug Writer's Retreat

Loved this place! The vibes and people were great! My dog could just roam around the property off leash. Zero cell service, but wifi works really well, so doesn't matter. It's great that it's only an about an hour away from LA. Will probably be back to disconnect and unwind.

Gypsy Trailer Boho Glamping

This campsite is basically a rustic Bohemian Village. It has all of the amenities you would hope for in the backwoods. We were car campers, but felt far away from city life. We did a moderate 2 hour in and out hike up to the fire road ridge… Took a 30 minute nap on top of a old-fashioned quail guzzler - enjoying the scenic surrounding… Definitely recommend for anyone looking for something different… Family friendly.

I loved this place. I slept in my car and had a little pull in spot with a table close to a communal kitchen where I could put my freezer packs in the freezer. Also composting toilets and a hot shower. I was hoping to have a table inside with heat where I could do some computer work as it was quite cold outside but the young man I talked to said they didn’t have that yet but I could sit at the outside bar and work there. It’s a pretty rustic hippy scene that wouldn’t be comfortable for everyone. Lots of sweet dogs and kind people, easy to find up a very short dirt road. I woke in the morning had a hot shower made my breakfast and hit the road. Beautiful drive. Thanks everyone, especially Tina and her two daughters for inviting me to join them for dinner.

You ever get that feeling you’re being guided? That’s what I experienced which lead me here. Solo, I stayed for 4 nights and was welcomed into a location with expansive vision and creativity behind it. I see the vision behind it and I loved the potential of what this environment brings as a community stepping outside the programming. I parked my 22 foot RV van here and found they had little cottages and RV’s to also rent. This is a working ranch where dogs can be off leash. There’s goats, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, hiking, music, a tavern area with a pool table. This is a fun and creative property. A community that flows as people come and go. Saskia is a wealth of knowledge and experiences that I was honored she shared with me over meals and coffee. This was a really special and impactful experience for me and a highlight of my 45 day solo road trip with my dog Bodhi. Thank you for the opportunity to have experienced the ArtFarm and the community that you’ve brought together. This was an unforgettable NYE and I am grateful I shared it with these folks. Thank you for sharing yourself with me and Bodhi and welcoming us with such open arms.

My first instinct upon arriving was to change plans and leave. The pictures did not match what the actual “ranch” looked like. The people that we came in contact with were all very nice but that does not cancel out the ACTUAL rats nest that was beneath the mattress where we were sleeping. There were rats scurrying around the nest literally under our pillows! We left in the middle of the night. I would not recommend this campsite or sleeping hut to anyone.

The hosts here were so kind and receptive. My daughter and I were looking for a great escape from Los Angeles. The property is continuing to be developed, therefore a few places felt a little bit junky. There are app. 10 old RV's and campers on the property that aren't being used - empty. Perhaps they will be rebuilding them as a part of their AirBB. The campsite is quite open. Not a lot of privacy. A few have views to the old campers. We found a little spot tucked away, which was nice, yet our neighbors had no other way around us except to walk right through our campsite. The hosts were very kind, though, and offered us to pitch our tent wherever we wanted. We did have to park a little ways away from the site. Luckily we had a cart to load all of our things. The campsite has a beautiful little kitchen area, nice bathrooms and lovely showers. There are also little "cabins" that are super cute, but small (for two small people). We enjoyed the pool, which was clean, but had quite a bit of broken toys and noodles around it. There are other kind people who live on the property longer term. The most annoying thing - so, so many gnats and bees. Kind of ruined our stay a little bit because it was so hard to relax. That, of course, is not the fault of the Hipcamp.

Beautiful land, wonderful people

This place feels like a magical oasis. The property is beautiful and the owners are so kind and welcoming. We really appreciated the quiet campground, the well-stocked outdoor kitchen, and the refreshingly cool, clean pool. We also loved meeting all the dogs and animals, and how cute and cozy the bathrooms and showers were. This place feels like a sanctuary for all guests, including pets!
