Peaceful and private RV camping under the oaks with picnic table, fire pit and Adirondack chairs. We currently have two sites on our property. They are about 300 feet apart and not easily visible from each other. Property is fully fenced; both sites are next to an open field under the oaks with vineyard, olive orchard and mountain views. This property is 30 miles from Paso Robles and almost perfectly centered between Missions San Antonio and San Miguel. Lakes San Antonio and Nacimiento are close by. Coastal towns of Cayucos and Morro Bay are about an hour scenic drive, passing many wineries along the way. There is space for multiple RVs or additional tents sharing your party's RV restroom facilities. Site one will accommodate sixteen people and multiple vehicles. Site two will accommodate ten people and two vehicles. For larger groups we ask that that you book both sites. We have hosted many family reunions and the feedback has been 100% positive. The Places:
The Dream Catcher is two micro trailers with a large outdoor deck space and cast iron tub in between them. One trailer is sleeping quarters with a mini kitchenette and the other trailer is a full bathroom with shower. The spaces are small and cozy. The views are epic. Overlooking the majestic Paso Robles valley with vineyards with world class views, the spacious deck is the place to be for sunset.
The Tiny House:
A Fairy tale cottage style wooden tiny home built in the 1980's with a bottle wall, full bath, and reading nook. This three story wonder will leave you inspired to step into your own story. Fully equipped with a small kitchen, queen bed, reading nook and two beautiful outdoor decks, you'll feel like you stepped into another world.
The Main Bungalow is a 1970's GEM, built by a movie industry icon with views of the valley through the stunning and huge five windows overlooking the Salinas River. Two bedrooms downstairs and two full baths, accompany a well appointed kitchen. The upstairs loft accommodates two additional semi private queen beds, and additional seating area. Sunrises from the bedrooms are rivaled by few.

There is a creek bed, usually dry most of the year, that provides excellent rock hunting and shady areas with overhanging oaks. We have grazing cattle fenced off from the camping areas and farm so you may see or hear them during your stay. The entrance to the camping area is a very wide oil pipe fenced driveway off Branch Road, designed to accommodate farm equipment and cattle trailers. Sometimes map apps say you've arrived at one of the separate residential driveways on the property. Please keep looking for the commercial sized entrance. We are a 15 minute drive to the restaurants and shopping in downtown Paso Robles, 8 minutes to the Vina Robles Amphitheater, 6 minutes to the Hunter Ranch Golf Course, and 5 min to the Sensorio Art Exhibit. We named our property the Twisted Branch after one of the big oak trees that sits on the site where you will camp with us! It's on a hilltop with amazing views in nearly all directions. The campsite faces South/West so sunsets are fantastic. We use no chemicals on the soil or annual grasses. It is very quiet and the night sky is always stunning. Owls hoot at night and Redtail Hawks hunt for ground squirrels during the day. We have alot of Acorn woodpeckers living in the oak trees, the ones with the bright red head feathers. April through June we see bright yellow Orioles. At night you will hear hundreds of little frogs in the nearby ponds, depending on the season.
We are located in the heart of Wine Country and there are plenty of activities around us and in town.

We are secluded and it feels like you're far away from city life yet San Luis Obispo is only a twenty minute drive away. We neighbor Los Padres National Forest which has several miles of hiking and biking trails.
On our farm we have 10 sheep, 10 goats, 29 chickens, 2 pigs, 5 dogs and a cat. Interaction with farm animals is common place as most campsites are close to our animal pastures. Bee hives are located on the property as well. Honey, eggs and firewood are available for purchase. :)

Firewood for $15/bundle, fire starters -first two free in the winter then $0.50/each. Our firewood is sustainably harvested from downed trees and branches. We sell it for a neighbor. No healthy live trees are harmed in order to produce firewood. No native trees are felled in order to plant fast growing hardwood for fire or anything else!

Our ranch consists of 142 acres located at the top of East Cuesta Grade, elevation approximately 2100 ft. We are secluded and it feels like you're far away from city life yet San Luis Obispo is only a twenty minute drive away. We neighbor Los Padres National Forest which has several miles of hiking and biking trails.
On our farm we have 10 sheep, 10 goats, 29 chickens, 2 pigs, 5 dogs and a cat. Interaction with farm animals is common place as most campsites are close to our animal pastures. Bee hives are located on the property as well. Honey, eggs and firewood are available for purchase. :)

This was like having our own private campground. The well equipped site with beautiful scenery, on a hilltop with the hawks flying around would have been enough to give a rave review. We loved the added fun of horseshoes and farm animals around. We cannot wait to stay at the Range again sometime soon!

We had a great time at this camp site. William and Wendee were great hosts, they even gave us extra honey and a bucket of soda with ice. We loved the bathroom for toilet and shower, hot water included. They also have a sink to wash your dishes and a grill to cook on.
We also enjoyed smores (provided by the hosts). It was very serene and peaceful at night, you’ll hear lots of birds. The hiking trail was really cool, filled with creativity. Overall a positive and memorable experience! Highly recommended!

I don’t want to give this a great review because I want it to stay a secret, but this place was amazing!!! So relaxing and such a comfortable and easy camp site. We spent the weekend listening to the birds, watching the wildlife and just enjoying the views. Perfect spot!

We had such a lovely return stay here. The hosts were incredibly gracious and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. The campsite was peaceful, clean, and clearly cared for with a lot of attention to detail. It felt private, very safe, and comfortable. You can tell the hosts genuinely want guests to enjoy their stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm and welcoming Hipcamp spot. 🌿

The area is very peaceful, and the views from the camp site are stunning. Photos don't do it justice. They provide lots of open space at the site and a nice setup to enjoy. The site was easy to find from their instructions and signage. We would definitely stay again.
A word of caution to RVers: Make sure your stuff is well secured. We thought we had our rig dialed in, but found most of our cabinet contents on the floor once we got to the site.

This was our 2nd visit at Jac's property & we look forward to coming back. It's an amazing combination of "close to everything" yet the camp itself grassy with trees and atop a hill with a stunning view.
Jac is a wonderful host with goody box full of local options for wine tasting, restaurants, and all sorts of things to do. The campsite has a full sized picnic table & two lounging chairs to enjoy the sunset. And the porto potty provided is the nicest one I've ever seen; even has a light!

We loved our experience at Enney’s Ranch. We wanted a camping experience without the work and this Hipcamp was perfect— all bedding, kitchen gear provided. The kids enjoyed the open space, outdoor tub, board games and animals around the property. We took a walk up the hill and saw a gorgeous sunset. Kenny is very friendly and hospitable and even gave us a homemade loaf of bread made out of wheat he grew on his property. Highly recommend!

William's camping spot is perfect, it comes with creature comforts (shower, flushing toilet, sink, bbq, and lounge chairs). It was definitely worth it and he has made his space so unique, there's a trail around the property with great views.

I had a great time at the Ravens campsite. Camping description on all sites are accurate and all have reasonable amounts of shade to camp under. I didn’t explore the immediate area too much, but there is plenty of space to stretch out the legs.
One thing to note, *if* there are other camping in the neighboring sites, they will need to pass through Site 4 (Ravens) to use the bathroom or get water.
It does get lively at night with all the local wildlife making themselves heard. Expect to see near the campsites: ground squirrels, rabbits, birds, various insects, and the occasional toad.
As other reviews mention, Veronica is very knowledgeable, welcoming, approachable, accommodating, great company… need I say more? If you have the time, make the effort to speak with Veronica and learn more about the conservation efforts done to maintain the surrounding area.
**Pinnacles National Park tips:
-Go early.
-BRING A FLASHLIGHT (phone flashlight ok).
-Don’t underestimate the difficult trails.
-Beware of Rattlesnakes at the park. (I heard one on a trail around sunset.)
Easy recommendation! Would return to Song of the Ancients to camp here again!

My daughter & I thoroughly enjoyed staying on this land! The wildflowers were popping as were the stars at night. There were SO MANY different beautiful birds singing in the gorgeous giant oak we camped under! The views were breathtaking, the canvas tent was spacious, and the bath was insane. This place is such a gem! We hope to return soon to visit Bandit, the property tour guide.

As a single lady on her own I felt very safe camping here! I also drove from San Diego and planned to do all the Big Sur stops the second day - which worked out perfectly because this spot is located more south of many attractions — except jade beach, which is only 10 minutes south.
There’s literally everything you need to have a great time camping here. I chose one of the sites closer to the parking because I wanted to be by the creek- I could also see the ocean from my site.
The layout of everything could definitely be confusing.. best to arrive before dark. Some of the upper sites had really tall grass which prevented me from exploring up there too much.
The shower was so awesome! Didn’t try the kitchen because I brought my own stove just for my coffee - but on a longer trip I would have used it for sure.
Pit toilets at the day use area at the beach if you don’t like the poopers. Some of the state parks near by also have regular flush bathrooms.
I never met the host but I think it’s the family that lives there.

We loved staying here! It’s very quiet (except for a couple of nearby roosters.) the meadow we camped on was almost all gorgeous blue Lupin and a line of Eucalyptus trees on the property line gave us all-day shade, but we dragg d our camp chairs out into the sunshine whenever we wanted to.
