The nearby Sherman Island County Park, popular among salmon fishers and windsurfers, also has an RV campground. East of the Bay Area and south of Sacramento, Isleton also makes for a relaxing layover for RV road trips eastward to Yosemite National Park or the Stanislaus National Forest.
